Tiny cramped parking spaces, terrible Wi-Fi, goofy shower head, bathroom door that wouldn't stay open, being charged $100 for possible repairs. I'm 83 and my wife is 81. Not what you would call party animals. No idea how long it will take for this to be refunded. Will never return.

We booked a room with an ocean front view (ad showed full view) and we had a very small portion of a view because of the massive sand dune in front. I honestly felt a little duped for what we paid. The Promenade sweeper went by at 8:30 in the morning and it was very loud, as were the people walking by. I highly suggest an upstairs room. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The view was a joke on me. You live and you learn. Parking was ample and out was very walkable. We enjoyed a fire of the beach.

Our only complaint was with the fact that no one is on site after 10pm so noise complaints cannot be dealt with. If you want a hotel that is close to the beach and shops but can’t guarantee a good nights rest, this is the spot.

- IMOANA (10/5): - This is our second time staying here. The location of this hotel is the reason we came back. Its right in front of the volleyball nets and two different beach access points. After a long day and night on the 4th of July it was so nice to have our room so close. Once we arrive we are able to park our cars and walk to all the shops and restaurants. The office staff as well as the grounds folks and cleaning staff are all helpful and attentive. There is a box fan in each room which I love to help with noise.We will be back!

- Christopher (8/5): - We stayed during the week and were able to get a good price for a Deluxe Ocean View room. It is a typical motel room, amenity-wise- mini fridge, microwave, tv, comfy bed, etc. The bathroom had a walk-in shower that is on the small side, so maybe not ideal for larger humans. Phenomenal view! My only complaint about the room itself (and this is not exclusive to this motel, it happens everywhere) is that the light switches and door handles, and the walls around them, are dirty. Its kind of a turn off to a place after you've showered and are all fresh and clean then have to reach for a grimy handle or switch. Our check in process had a bump in it. Our room showed in the system as not ready 30 minutes after check in time. The sweet girl at the front desk couldnt get ahold of housekeeping to find out why, ended up running around the property to find someone to ask about it, and finally had to call her manager to find out what she needed to do (she is still new). Turns out housekeeping didnt update their system, our room was ready the whole time, and she felt really bad. She ended up giving us free passes to the Seaside Aquarium to help make up for the delay. But honestly that one-off check in mishap isnt enough to keep us from coming back. Its a nice, reasonably priced and well kept motel that is quiet and right on the beach. We'd use them again.

- Malinda (10/5): My Favorite Seaside Accommodations - I LOVE this little motel. Yes, it’s just as old as Seaside, but that’s the nostalgia. You really are OceanFront and above the dunes where you can see. The beds are raised too, so if you’re short or disabled, I would skip here. The front lobby is perfect and the service is wonderful. She is so thoughtful and kind. Don’t stay here if you’re expecting a resort. This is a 1950’s motel. And it’s lovely. Centrally located between the prom and aquarium. Service Animals Only so rooms are clean and quiet. Best view of the lighthouse and ocean

Me and my husband were coming over from Montana to Oregon to visit our kids, we moved from Oregon 5 years ago and I really needed some ocean in my soul, it was our birthday too, On our drive to Oregon we made the decision to stay 1 night at the coast, I got online and started looking for a place to stay, I booked a room at the Ocean Front at Seaside. The staff was really nice, the room was adorable and surprisingly quiet, easy access to the beach, and we could not hear outside noise from other guests. It was pretty inexpensive for an ocean view, right on the beach room. It is an older hotel, but don't let that scare you away. It is definitely cheaper than other places, its clean and has been remodeled nicely

It wasn’t clear in the description that it didn’t have this. Also ice machine not working. But overall would stay again for sure! Well worth the cost and location was amazing.

- Jaron (6/5): - The room smelled clean. The carpet seemed dirty and could use a shampoo. We didn’t spend much time in the room but it worked for what we needed. The shower was awesome. Like standing under a warm waterfall.
