- Barbara (10/5): Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Charlottetown enhanced our experience! - Beautifully kept historical property in a perfect location to enjoy Charlottetown. The staff was super attentive and the room was spacious and unique. Appreciated the “Anne of Green Gables” book on the nightstand. Landscaping is gorgeous.
- Laura (7/5): - Great spot! Convenient location and very quaint. Breakfast was good! I found it a bit overpriced for the quality of the beds and lack of higher end touches given the price we paid.

- Jason (9/5): Would very much recommend to others. - 3rd time staying at the Shipwright and it was as wonderful as has been in the past. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Comfortable accommodations and situated perfectly for nice walks down Queen Street and to the harbor. The ceiling fan in the sitting room was quite noisy, but not a big deal. Needs to be replaced.
- William (10/5): I wish we would have planned to stay longer. - The furniture and decor was lovely. The breakfast was first rate. The ease of getting there and leaving for the airport. It was quiet and very comfortable. I can't think of anything. It was all good or great.
- Linda (10/5): Highly recommend this property. - Breakfast was great. We loved the balcony to have a coffee in the morning. We loved everything!
- Monica (10/5): Great from start to finish! - Staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish-even allowing us to do laundry when we were in a pinch. Breakfast was fantastic-so many choices. A/C in the room was so appreciated during the heatwave while we were there. Highly recommend. Nothing
- Trevor (10/5): - Full kitchen and 1 bedroom unit was very nice and big. Lots of room Only 1 small issue. The house is very nice but I did have the basement suite and you can hear the people above you when they walk on the floor

- Colin (9/5): -

I can tell they try to welcome the guests.
Having vegetables and fruit for breakfast was nice.
It would be nicer if thy had some rice.
Location was good.
T The sink in the bathroom was clogged all the time.
More outlet would be convenient.

Sehr gutes Frühstück
- James (9/5): Looked forward to returning at the end of the day. - The staff were wonderful. The surroundings were wonderfully unique. The history of the house is fascinating. There really isn't anything major. We would have liked to have some diversity in the hot breakfast.
- Charles (10/5): GREAT! -

- Janice (10/5): We spent two weeks in the east coast and stayed in many different motels and inns. Shipwright was our favourite! - Our hosts were amazing and our room spectacular. We were given a free upgrade to a much larger room with a fireplace and spa tub. Fantastic breakfast as well Loved everything!!
- Tetsuhiro (8/5): - 朝食は美味しかった! 暖房があんまり効いてなかった。
- Stuart (9/5): Interesting house in a great location. - Very warm, hospitable reception. Excellent breakfast. House of historic interest in an unbeatable location Very small television set with complicated program access.
- Christian (8/5): - Accueil, Emplacement
- Carol (10/5): -
- phoebe (8/5): Perfectly ok. Nothing exceptional. A bit expensive for what we encountered. - The breakfast was fine. Not gourmet, but well prepared. I expected antique charm and attentive service. The beautiful old house was interesting and certainly clean, but there was no attempt at the level of service and detail I expected from the listing.
- Catherine (10/5): Lovely historic B&B in a great location - Perfect B&B for a two day getaway. The host quickly responded to my request for a late check in. The room was lovely and large. Highly recommend the Gastropub restaurant just a block away. This was not a big issue, but we were driving a truck and were lucky to find parking on end spaces. There were enough spaces, just a bit small to maneuver a larger vehicle.
- Charles (10/5): -
- Isabella (10/5): Amazing stay in Charlottetown - Its a very charming historical house and the owner is very welcoming - everything you could need is there and the location is perfect for strolls through charlottetown -
- Polly (10/5): Coolest place we’ve stayed so far! - This is such a beautiful house! The decorations are beautiful and well appointed. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and so comfortable and clean. Jason is an excellent host! He isn’t the original owner but he’s doing a wonderful job keeping the Inn alive. He was so excited to show us the house and was so accommodating. We had to leave early and he offered to make us something for breakfast early and was careful to make sure we had eaten before we left. Genuinely such a sweetheart. He and the Inn are definitely worth a return trip and if I’m ever in PEI I’ll be booking here again! No drawbacks!
- Peter (8/5): Charlottetown is a great place to visit and this location gives you an excellent chance to enjoy it. - Location was great. It was an easy walk to Queen St and the harbour which was all so interesting with lots of inviting places to eat. They provided a lovely breakfast and made a number of spaces available to guests throughout the day. The TV in our room was very tiny for this day and age.
- Lynn (10/5): -
- Judy (10/5): Really nicely kept Inn would recommend when visiting Charlottetown - We could walk to a lot of places , very lovely room on the main floor, breakfast was good.
- Anh (10/5): Strongly recommended as it is simply perfect in every way! - Everything. Super nice and friendly owner/host. Very good location, free parking, free breakfast. Clean and nicely decorated with unique nostalgia. Just perfect for a holiday in Charlottetown. Nothing.
- Howard (9/5): Stayed just one night. Liked how easy it was to walk to the downtown area and the harbour. - The historical aspect of this property was like a step back in time and a nice change from the cookie cuter chain lodgings. The breakfast offered was not impressive and a little disappointing. The lack of sound proofing is due to the age of this establishment so I would not recommend it for families with young children or people who sleep lightly.
- Goneaway (6/5): -

- Tanya (9/5): -
- Bruce Charles (10/5): This is a wonderful place to stay - Location, character, comfort, great breakfasts, good free parking, very user friendly, clean. Fantastic owners and staff.

Location NOT ocean view- only if one walked 15 minutes to Victoria park
Rather shabby-- occasional nails protruding in our bedroom.floor
Tiny shampoo & soap'- not what one would expect w the high rating..
Not well decorated- nothing matched- unattractive OLD furnishings.
Lots of stairs.
Mini-fridge froze our fruit.
Strange bkft- geared only for meats +++- the owner provided a tiny 6 strawberried as requested & a rock hard biscuit.- maybe a lack of knowledge of standards./.Lack of polished service iif aiming for high end..
- Patti (7/5): Great service , excellent breakfast, and very clean! - Great location! Room was a bit small but very charming
- Annie (9/5): - L'hôte était disponible et d'une grande gentillesse. Le déjeuner-brunch inclus était délicieux et l'emplacement de cet établissement est parfait, on peut se déplacer à pied pour visiter Charlottetown.
- Murchison (10/5): Perfect little hidden gem of Charlottetown - This was the sweetest little property. My 14 year old twins and I had a night to explore Charlottetown. Is was perfectly located. Everything in walking distance. The property was so clean and quiet. I have no comment

- Gary (10/5): Shipwright Inn a great and interesting place in Charlottetown - Fabulous location. Quiet but easy walk to restaurants and core. Rooms are individual and spacious. Nice spaces for outside coffee on balcony and porch. Owners are great and friendly. Breakfast was wholesome and well prepared buffet. Beds were good. All in all a great place to stay Chairs in our room were not the most comfy but that's minor. Everything else was great.

- Julie (8/5): -
- Sheila (7/5): Lovely historical house - Beautiful historical house. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable but too small, only a double. Excellent breakfast. Great
location with ample parking. Our room was on the main floor and was noisy as anyone going up or down the stairs we heard as well as the thumping of footsteps from the person renting above us.
