- הוקמן (8/5): סך הכל מאוד נהנו בהחלט היה חוויה מיוחדת - הצוות היה מדהים מאוד באו לקראתנו שביקשנו בקשות מיוחדות שלא בתפריט, האי שקט וכיפי נכון שקצת רחוק מהכל אבל שווה את השקט השמש והשיזוף והנופים מרהיבים גם הדרכים להגיע, שייקים מפנקים בערסל,מתאים למי שמחפש אתנחתא ורוגע של כמה ימים . בהחלט כדי להתנייד חייב אופנוע! תודה❤️ לשים רשתות בחלונות או לאטום יותר את החריצים שבדלתות וחלונות כי נכנסים זבובים וחרקים שמפריעים לישון מי שלא רגיל לטבע לגונגל יכול להיות לו קשה כמו לילדה שלי בת ה10. המדרגות לבונגלו שלנו קצת היה מפחיד ולא כל כך נגיש לעלות ולרדת,אם לא היה מדרגות כאלה היה מצוין.

- Alejandro (1/5): Las peores tres noches de nuestro viaje - Todo lo que no controlaban los del alojamiento, es decir, la playa donde estaba. Para empezar, llegamos de noche, no hay ningún tipo de luz en todo el recinto y llegas a ciegas con la moto por la arena, vigilando que no se te calase la moto. Después subes muchas escaleras hasta el restaurante donde te dan las llaves del alojamiento y donde encuentras una encargada muy borde. Cuando llegas a la habitación, muchas escaleras después, ves que la puerta está cerrada con un candado que proporciona nula seguridad. Nuestro bungalow tenía unas escaleras para llegar a dos de las camas, las cuales eran muy inseguras y para bajar y subir era un suplicio. Dos de las tres camas estaban manchadas de sangre y en la tercera, entre la sábana y el colchón, una cucaracha muerta. Entendemos perfectamente que estamos en medio de la naturaleza, pero tras varios alojamientos en los que nos hemos alojado que estaban en medio de la naturaleza, ha sido el alojamiento más asqueroso y sucio de todos. Ni te pienses ir descalzo por el bungalow porque irás pisando caracoles y babosas constantemente, además de tener hormigas y cucarachas en tus pertenencias. También, como el restaurante está al lado del bungalow, te costará dormir por la noche ya que tienen la música a todo volumen hasta las tantas y te despertaran muy pronto con fuertes golpes y ruidos. En definitiva, hemos estado tres noches durmiendo incómodos y en uno de los sitios más sucios que hemos visto en nuestro viaje por Tailandia.
- Jean (1/5): Complètement nul - La dame de l'accueil est absolument pas aimable voir même très hautaine, elle à essayé de nous arnaquer en nous faisant une location de scooter à 2500 bahts la journée !!. Évidemment, j'ai refusé. Les bungalows sont isolés de tout, ils ne sont pas propres, on y a trouvé des cafards et un serpent dans la douche. Il n'y a pas de clim, c'est au ventilateur, donc bonne chance. Le bungalow est vraiment collé à la mer, ce qui rend vraiment une expérience complètement nulle, car on entend le bruit des vagues qui s’éclatent sur la roche donc pour dormir c’est super .. La plage est sale , rempli de cigarette et le pire, c'est que les bungalows ne sont vraiment pas accessibles d'un point de vue géographique, c'est très isolé, il n'y a absolument rien autour. J'ai dû faire plus de 1h10 de marche dans la jungle pour pouvoir arriver à un petit village le plus proche. Et c'est à ma grande surprise que j'ai vu que je pouvais louer des scooters à 250 bahts la journée , ce qui veut dire que la dame de l'accueil a voulu nous facturer x10 le prix initial. C'est n'importe quoi. Il y a également des masques à disposition au sein même du restaurant pour qu'on puisse aller se baigner. La dame de l'accueil a également précisé que c'était en location et que si je voulais les utiliser, c'était 200 bahts. Donc voilà, vous payez juste le fait de pouvoir dormir, tout le reste, c'est en supplément. Je suis parti 3 jours avant la date de départ ! A FUIR !

- Kenneth (7/5): A great sanctuary marvelously built onto the cliffs overlooking the beach - Its a very spacious bungalow that has a great big balcony with breathtaking views of the beach and national park. It's nestled marvelously on the mountain rocks that elevates the structural point of view. The room has both fan and air and a nice big bed. It's marvelously built onto the cliffs that are very steep, which isn't bad if you're alright with steep climbing. Some of the protruding rocks penetrate into the room space. Than Sadet is a beautiful beach/national park, but 15 minutes away from the nearest 7-11

- Kerstin (10/5): Tolle Bungalows mit Traum Ausblick in einer Bilderbuch Bucht - Wir hatten einen Bungalow on the Rocks. Wow, anders kann ich die Lage nicht beschreiben. Auf den Felsen, über dem Meer mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben stundenlang auf der Terrasse gesessen oder in der Hängematte gelegen. Einfach nur dem Rauschen des Meeres zu hören. Das ist Meditation. Die Bucht ist wunderschön und sehr ruhig. Man kann zu einer kleineren Nachbarbucht rüber laufen. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, den Fluss hoch zu einem kleinen Wasserfall zu gehen. Der Bungalow war auch super. Es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ablagefläche, einige Kleiderbügel und vor allen Dingen ein Moskitonetz ohne Löcher und ein Ventilator. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist sehr gut und zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist super nett. Vielen Dank noch einmal an euch alle. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The restaurant is very good and has a beautiful view on a quiet beach. The staff is super kind and friendly.

- Niels (2/5): Mistede langt mere end vi havde betalt - Altanen var lækker, maden på deres restaurant var rigtig god. Den anden strand men kan gå et stykke vej til var fed. Vi havde igen bestilt forud på booking.com. Don't! Vi betalte præcis det samme som deres deluxe suite kostede, da vi boede der, 2.000 baht, for et standard værelse. Vi kunne IKKE få lov at skifte. Føler os i den grad snydt, om det så er booking.com skyld eller stedet, er nok en blanding. Toilettet var ultra klamt, der lugtede og var bare ulækkert. Vandet var så ulækkert at vi måtte bade hos en bekendt i Srithanu! Vi gik på toilettet på diverse restauranter når vi kunne. Ad! Køleskabet var klamt, vi bad dem gøre det rent men det gjorde de ikke. Der var gammelt støv over alt og kopper og glas var ulækre. Hundene der løb omkring tog den ene af mine special designede sko, som jeg ikke kan undvære og som er rigtig dyre. Så nu har jeg ikke de sko som gør at jeg ikke får betændelse i mine ben. Vores lejede scooter væltede og blev ridset på siden da vi, en af de mange gange, skulle stoppe, stå af, tage hjelm af og finde billetter for at få indgang til parken. Enormt besværligt, og nu et udlejnings problem rigere. Der er skrald overalt. Af et naturfredningsprojekt at være bliver, der virkelig ikke gjort meget for at frede naturen. Tilgengæld har de så en losseplads mere.

- Beatrice (5/5): Von der Lage gerne wieder, aber nicht in dieser Unterkunft. - Super schöne, ruhige Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Leider war der Bungalow schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dadurch viele Insekten unterwegs. Selbst für Thailand und diese Preisklasse war es leider nicht so ansprechend.
- Lara (3/5): Schrecklich - Schöner Strand Die Zimmer sind sehr alt und in den Holzhütten befinden sich 1000 Nester von Terniten.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt verkürzt, weil wir lebende Terniten und ihren kot auf der Bettdecke hatten. Einfach nur widerlich. Der Weg zum Zimmer ist ebenfalls sehr weit und steinig und man muss sich bei der Lage definitiv ein Roller mieten. Dies kann man aber vor Ort machen.

They are huge positives If you are looking for quiet tranquility, beiatiful scenery, outstanding food, brilliant staff and an ocean the flits between flat swimming and choppy wave jumping you will not go wrong. It. Is. Amazing. And in European terms it is so cheap. The value for money is incredible. Not a single complaint Ps. The dogs are all very friendly, but there are about 8 of them abn they will come chill in your balcony. So if you have a proper phobia, id think twice. If you just don't very much like them, you'll be fine. Absolutely nothing.
- Julia (6/5): Wer Natur und Insekten mag ist hier richtig- andere nicht - Der Ausblick, die Lage sowie das Essen im Restaurant waren traumhaft. Der Strand ist wunderschön und im Vergleich zu anderen Stränden auf der Insel nicht nur voller Müll. Das Badezimmer ist besonders, da es in den Felsen gebaut wurde und wirklich riesig war. Als wir am Abend das Moskitonetz geöffnet haben, lagen plötzlich ganz viele kleine Teile auf dem Bett. Wir konnten leider nicht identifizieren um was es sich dabei gehandelt hatte. Es war sehr unangenehm darin zu schlafen. Beim aufziehen der Gardine entdeckten wir eine riesige Spinne sowie eine Kakerlake.

- Nicolas (1/5): - La vue La patronne pas du tout aimable(location de voiture à l'hôtel, tomber en panne, rapatriement au bout de 2h30,pour nous mettre la faute dessus, et négociation du prix). Accès très difficile aux chambres beaucoup de devers(escaliers qui en finissent pas) Monopole pour manger donc cher,mer assez bruyante pour le front de mer.

- Julie (8/5): À faire absolument ! - Le lieu est extraordinaire ! Ça vaut le détour et le fait de dormir sur place est un plus. Le personnel est super. La nourriture est très bonne ! C’est rustique mais ça vaut le coup. L’accès aux bungalows est loin et très escarpé.

- Florian (8/5): Einzigartig, charmant, in die Jahre gekommen. Insgesamt einen Aufenthalt wert - Einmalige Lage. Ursprünglich, abgeschieden, rau. Leckeres Restaurant breite Karte, fairen Preise. Sehr hilfreiches Personal. Rollerverlei einwandfrei. Taxiabholung und Taxiabreise einwandfrei und pünktlich organisiert. Bungalows auf Felsen sind einzigartig. Insgesamt ein toller Platz. Bungalow ohne Klimaanlage mit Mositonetz waren für uns ok und für den Preis fair. Ein Kühlschrank wäre jedoch super um Abende auf Balkon am Meer mit Getränk genießen zu können. Immer wieder den je nach Wetter mehr oder weniger anspruchsvollen Weg zum Restaurant für ein Getränk zu laufen nervt etwas. Im Restaurant zu bleiben, klappt mit kleineren Kindern halt nicht immer.... Teils sehr in die Jahre gekommene Bungalows. Nüchtern betrachtet habe ich mich selbst gefragt warum ich trotz des dürftigen Zustandes 8 Punkte vergebe, aber die Anlage und die Bungalows haben einen ganz besonderen Charme. Dadurch bräuchten die Bungalows selbst innen gar nicht mal so viel Renovierung, da sie würdevoll altern aber rausstehende Nägel, eine lose Latte am Tisch draussen und zwei Dielen auf der Terrasse, die angebrochen sind und beim nächsten schwereren Menschen vielleicht früher brechen, sollten gemacht werden. Einen deutschen Statiker darf man hier sowieso nicht fragen, wenn man keinen Neubau angeordnet haben will, aber zumindest ein, zwei neue Stützpfeiler und einen Längsträger unter der ganzen Konstruktion, könnten den ein oder anderen beruhigen, da die Betonpfeiler von den Gezeiten bereits teils vollständig zersetzt sind und die Ersatzpfeiler aus Holz auch nicht erst seit gestern stehen und im ganzen Haus zahlreiche Holzwürmer und Holzwespen arbeiten....

- Elina (9/5): Perfekter Platz für Leute die es ursprünglich lieben - Traumhafte alte Holz bungalows wie man es von früher kennt. Sehr groß mit tollem Ausblick. Der Weg durch das resort ist nicht für kleine Kinder oder eingeschränkte Menschen geeignet. Trittsicherheit ist wichtig. Die Wellen waren relativ laut

In the middle of nowhere so well away from the hustle and bustle, scooter recommended if you want to pop in and out of town! Electricity went one night which came back a couple hours later so wasn't all that bad but was a little spooky with no light's in the location

- Jan (10/5): Ideal if you like nature and you want to escape from the crowds 👍😀 - What a place! I couldn’t wait to visit Mai Pen Rai Bungalows this year and it was one of the best experiences on my trip. It’s far from any town so come prepared, or you can rent a bike on-site ( they offer best prices on an island). People there are so welcoming and they’ll make you feel like family. Two restaurants with excellent food and the views which will stay in your memory forever. 11/10 N/A
- Alexianne (10/5): - Magnifique endroit, loin du bruit et de la foule, plage magnifique, restauration top, cocktail très bon. Nous avions le bungalow numéro 20 et il était vraiment top et pas loin du resto. Parfait pr 3 jours de repos complet. Le lieu est magnifique mais très éloigné, de ce fait rien d accessible sans louer un véhicule ou prendre un taxi de l hôtel. WC qui fuit un peu, mais pas dramatique.
- Jascha (8/5): - Eine sehr schöne Bucht mit tiefem wasser sowie leckeres essen. Zudem ein Roller verleih also alles was man benötigt. Der Abfluss von der Dusche sowie die Toilette welche möglicherweise nicht ganz dicht war und zu niedrig stand. Wer dort übernachten will sollte sich auf das Meeresrauschen vorbereiten da es etwas laut bei nacht ist. Und leider wie auch an vielen anderen stellen in thailand versteckt in gebüschen usw liegt viel müll herum.

Резервировали номер "Deluxe air con bungalow on the rocks". К сожалению, номер пришлось менять на более дешёвый и простой по принципу отдаленности от кафе (единый бокс с ресепшеном и кухней) из-за огромных тараканов в номере. Разницу в цене нам не вернули

- Kaylinda (9/5): - Woah this place was amazing. We loved that the bungalows are all tucked into the rocks and the pathway to our little house felt like an adventure. The food in the restaurant was excellent and well priced and the service was great. We loved the beach and the way it felt empty even though there were other people around. Our daughter loved splashing in the water and playing in the sand. The bungalow was super cute and we loved listening to the waves at night and sitting on our private balcony. The bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable.
- Robert (1/5): Die Realität entspricht mit nichten der Beschreibung auf booking. - Bin nur 1 Nacht geblieben am nächsten Tag sofortige Abreise. Nicht der Beschreibung entsprechend. Vor Ort Versorgung völlig überteuert da es keine andere Möglichkeit gibt. Völlige Abnutzung und äußerst gefährlich die Zugänge zu den Bungalows.

- Salomi (6/5): - Die Aussicht ist wirklich atemberaubend und das Personal ist super lieb! Wir hatten am 2. Tag kaum Wasser. Duschen ging nur bedingt mit paar Tropfen aus der Dusche..außerdem kam braunes Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn:(

For those who doesn't want luxury or comfort, but are searching for true nature. Monkeys or someone like them disturbed us at night by jumping on the roof.

- Schunter (8/5): Super abenteuerlich und richtig cool :-) - Super abenteuerlich und außergewöhnlich! Muss man mal erlebt haben ;) Achtung; man sollte gut zu Fuß sein und nicht wasserscheu, da man hin und wieder nass wird Essen sehr lecker, personal sehr freundlich. Wir waren vier Nächte, uns hätten aber auch zwei gereicht Leider keine Klimaanlage und auf Grund des Wetters war das Meer bei uns wirklich extrem laut (es peitscht mit voller Wucht gegen die Felsen)
