• SUSAN (8/5): - I liked the ofuro and the various pools. Food was good. Lots of space to plug in and use computer/iPhone. They need to work on the info for foreigners_ poor grammer, difficult to understand. Our room 214 - the paint was cracked in two spots. We did ask for two twin beds and prefer floor space in between as shown in picture online. They serve free coffee if one drinks it which i don't and there was no alternative except once or twice during our four day stay. They could provide a map of the area showing where Stellar Mall is and other touristy sites. The clothing they want us to wear is not breathable material. The rail lines are noisy during the day'evening. I'm glad to experience this place - 2 to 3 days are best. I'm glad to see the local people utilize the place as well. DON'T POST PLEASE
• Yuko (8/5): - 客室はかなり狭い。冷蔵庫すらない。窓も少しも開かず換気扇も回ってるか分からず換気が全く出来ない。空気清浄機を貸してくれたのが幸い。
• CHIHO (4/5): - 照明の調節が出来ずルームキーを抜いてしまうと全ての電気が消えてしまうのが不便です。 女性用のルームウェアは素材的にも動きづらく宿泊者的にはゆっくり出来ない感じでした。男性と同じ素材の方が良いと思います。

• Takami (8/5): - 部屋は狭かったけど、まぁ問題は無いし、風呂は種類もあって、楽しく過ごせました。部屋が間接照明のみで暗かったので、明るくしたいと申し出たら、スタンドの照明を部屋に運んできてくれました。カフェもくつろげる感じで、雰囲気良かったです。
• Yuki (4/5): - 部屋の洗面台排水溝に髪の毛やゴミが溜まっており水捌けがかなり悪く、水が溜まり時間をかけて少しづつ減っていったがかなり不快な思いだった。 お風呂は種類もありお風呂Cafeと名前通り日帰りでお風呂に入りに行くだけなら良いと思うが お風呂Cafeならばアメニティ(シャンプー類含め)をもっと充実させても良いと感じた。若い人が多いので。館内着のセンスがない。厚手すぎるしせっかくお風呂上がっても違う汗がでる。

• Verified traveler (10/5): 最高な非日常！！ - 館内に入ると、今はハロウィンとフィンランド&サウナがメインの館内で素敵な照明や木の感じに癒されました。 大浴場も最高ですし、コーヒー飲み放題やマンガ読み放題で自由に夜更かし出来るのが究極の非日常でした。 電車も好きなので沢山の通過を見れて満足でした。

• AKIO (8/5): 朝風呂は老人のたまり場 - 掲載画像のイメージは女性客を意識したようなイメージ。今回友人男性2名で利用しました。 夜は普通にカップルも利用してましたが、深夜になるとお一人様の老人がちらほら。 お風呂は朝の5時からやってましたが、6時に行くと既に10人位いましたが、殆ど老人。完全に社交場になってます。 風呂からあがって無料のマッサージチェアルームを利用していると、部屋は静かなのですが、そこにも老人が耳が悪いのか大声でずっと談話。 施設のコンセプトとは真逆のお客様が占有しているイメージはちょっと残念でした。 近隣にコンビニはありますが、徒歩圏には居酒屋等はなし。駐車場が広いのは良かったです。

• Verified traveler (6/5): 埼玉の若者の溜まり場 - 混み過ぎてる。近郊若者カップルのたむろ場所になっている。場所の大きさに対して、人が多過ぎて全然くつろげない。下手したら座る場所も無いレベル。 飯もカフェ過ぎて特に風呂上がりに美味しい訳では無い。フロントもバイト感覚の若者しか居ないので、融通も機転も利かない。 宿泊利用でチェックインが18時まで出来ないのも周りに何も無いので早く着いてしまうと辛い。

• Emily (10/5): Unique Spa-Hotel for the Adventurous Traveler - This is a very unique, spa-hotel with amazing things to discover! We had a great time! I will prefix this by saying that if you want a tradition hotel, this might not be for you. Our room was small but comfortable, the bed reminded me more of a ryokan than a western hotel with a small sink and toilet. The shower stations and onsen are where you can bathe, shave and dry your hair. This is a communal onsen. I did wish the towels were newer but overall it didn’t really bother me. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast special, it was 880 yen and very filling. There are many areas of the spa-hotel to explore, like the massage chair room, hammock space and fire place. There is also a children’s play room. You need to remove your shoes when you enter and lock them in a locker, one day we kept our key and one day they asked to keep the key behind the desk. There is also free coffee and tea. We would definitely stay here again and would like to spend more time at the hotel next time. We really were only there to sleep and eat breakfast but did explore it in the mornings because we were often up very early. Recommend for people who enjoy a funky and cool atmosphere!

• 旅行好き (2/5): - 予約する前料金が9700円に対して税金+サービス料金合わせて2000円を要求。更にエクスペディアページに説明がなく。チェックイン時に入浴料を一人150円と2人。結果、全部で12000円。高い。騙された気分。部屋は狭くダブルベットと言いながら、セミダブルベットにシングル並みの薄い掛け布団１枚のみ。全然寝れず。更に部屋は小さな洗面台とクローゼットとトイレのみ。シャワーはなし。風呂は共有スペースのみとは失敗した。 更に部屋着を渡され、半強制的に着てる感じ。見方によっては囚人かも。次は絶対選びません。 これなら東横INNならこれの数万倍良い。 不快すぎる。次は絶対選びません。

• Verified traveler (6/5): - お風呂が楽しめるのと、子供が好きなハンモックがあるのと、2種類のコーヒーが無料で飲めるのはよかったです。 しかし、宿泊した部屋は、ドアのすぐ横が枕元になっており、他の宿泊客の廊下の話し声や、深夜にチェックインした客などのドアの開け閉めの音がかなり大きく、うるさくて何度も起きてしまい、ゆっくり眠る事は出来なかった。 キッズルームがあるのはいいのですが、遊ぶもの少な過ぎなのと、キッチンがあっても、ままごとする道具がほとんどない。 子供用の絵本がどこにあるのかわからなかった。

• kimeunjin (8/5): 숙소에 많은 시간 머물 예정인 숙박객들에게 추천 - 부대시설이 훌륭한편. 그냥 급하게 예약했는데 굉장히 좋은곳에 예약한건가 도착하고 깨달음. 밤 12시에 도착해서 아침일찍 출발해야하는 일정이라 아쉬웠다...시간이 있었으면부대시설을 좀 즐길수있었을텐더ㅜ 해먹 안마의자처럼 생긴곳. 일행과 이야기할수있는 다양한 형태의 테이블도 많고 특히 티비서보던 코타츠 꼭 앉아보고싶었는데 못앉아봐서 진짜 아쉬웠다ㅠㅠ 아침밥도 굉장히 맛있었는데 가지수는 많지 않지만 있을건 다있고 맛없는게 없었다. 단 하나 아쉬운건 위치...관광객 입장에서 지하철이랑 멀어서..가까운 주변에 딱히 없기도 하고...현지에서는 유명한곳인것 같았다. 왜냐하면 체크아웃할때 줄서서 입장을 기다리는사람들도 많았고 길찾을때 물어본 일본분도 이름을 듣고 거기 좋다는 식으로 말했기 때문. 목욕시설도 좋아보였는데 다시한번 말하지만 시간이 없어서 이용하지 못했다...근처 사이타마 신토신에서 공연관람 계획이 있고 굳이 도쿄여행에 관심없는 관광객이라면 이곳 추천. 이곳에 묵으면서 시간보내기 좋다

• Elisabeth (8/5): - Let's get one thing straight - this is not a hotel with a spa, this is a spa were you can sleep over. The staff was very friendly and willing to speak english and our room was comfortable with a big bed even if the bathroom was tiny. The main attraction here is the wonderful baths. Tattoos are technically not allowed, but if you ask the staff they will sell you stickers to cover it up for nothing at all. The baths and the extensive manga library makes it feel like a perfect hangout place for college kids when they need a break, and being in our 30s we felt a bit old. But it was still a very nice stay.

• Camille (8/5): Interesting experience - The place is a more of a spa with a hotel attached. I stayed on a week night, it was full of young couples lounging around in matching PJs. I was the only foreigner there. The staff speaks very little English, so I had to get by with my limited Japanese. Even though the hotel is right next to the tracks and a bit far from the station, the soundproofing is excellent. The café’s menu is Japanese only, but the food was really good. The baths were enjoyable. I beleieve they also offer massages and facials for an extra fee.

• Anthony (2/5): Paid for the night but I refused to use my booking - When I got to the hotel after an overnight flight they charged my credit card and then told me I could not check in until 6pm. Also I had to check out by 10am. Offers to pay additional fee for early check in were refused. Communication in English is a big problem at this hotel, almost impossible. Eventually they let me inspect an unoccupied room which was already cleaned and ready for the next occupant. The room was small but clean. When I saw that the bathroom consisted of a toilet and wash basin only, with no shower I refused to stay there even if the money I had paid was a total loss. I managed to find another hotel with a larger bedroom and full bathroom facilities

• MARVIN (8/5): Amazing place to relax! - The hotel was my first in Japan with a bathhouse. Upon entering, you are required to take off your shoes and store them in a locker by the lobby. Take the key to the locker and give it to the front desk in exchange for your room key upon checking in. You will also get issued a pajama type to sleep/wonder around and a bracelet with barcode on it. That bracelet will be used to charge any items you order (food, drinks, massage, etc). You have to pay any charges when you check out or if you leave the hotel to go wander around. If you don't speak Japanese, they will also give you some notes to read about the rules and how to enjoy your stay at the hotel. The restaurant food is amazing. I reserved the hotel that comes with breakfast and was not disappointed. I will definitely go back. It's a nice place to getaway when you want to stay away from the big city and rest your worries away.

Better line up at 8:40 AM. we had a two day stay and survived by getting luggage looked after. this was not good at all and ruined plans. read the fine print on conditions and don't assume the average hotel usage for consecutive nights--they booted us out. this owner is navigating everything to his financial advantage. not good for travelors that want rest for even one night, never a place to stay for two nights..
• John (8/5): Nice place if you give it a chance. - It is a nice hotel. I enjoyed my time there. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay there. I noticed right away that there was no shower in my room, only a toilet and a sink. You have to take a shower or bathe in the public area. If you are shy, you may be uncomfortable with this idea. The nice thing about this but shower area is that there is a lot of hot water many areas to take advantage of. There are showers, a sauna, hot pool, Jacuzzi and a warm mineral spring (Qnsen). My wife hit the panic button and was ready to evacuate when she realized we didn't have our own shower. We were hot, tired and had no other place to go. We weren't allowed to check in until 6 PM but you can use the facilities in the meantime. We stayed for the night. The next day we realized we felt more relaxed and were getting used to the idea of the public bath. We extended our stay to five days. If you have tattoos, this is not a good place for you. Anyone with tattoos is forbidden to use the public areas, if I understand the literature. Brush up on your Japanese, or bring your Google translate. The staff speaks very little English. You will be out in the middle of small town. There is a shopping mall nearby, but not much else in walking distance. Plan to spend the time relaxing if you go there.
• Paul (2/5): - I booked Hotel Utatane for my business trip. I never saw my room. check in was 6:00pm and had to check out every day at 10:00am. I left af3er a few hours and stayed at another the Plaza hotel near Omiya
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place....but if you need a shower, heads up. - We booked here because we couldn't find anything closer to Omiya Station where we needed to be to visit family. We were not disappointed with our choice for the money. The place is very hip and the staff friendly, though not too strong with English. We really enjoyed the cafe for late night drinks and desserts. Only warning to foreigners.... There is no mention in the hotel information that rooms do not include a shower or ofuro bath. You must use the public ofuro for showering. Toilets and sinks are provided in each room. After some investigation, we did find shower stalls (open area) in the public bath area in addition to the traditional sit down bathing. So if you are shy...be warned. We did not have time to use the baths, but they were beautiful and the entire complex was quite pleasant.
• Marissa (10/5): Unexpected in a good way! - This was a great hotel, with a modern atmosphere. The ofuro experience was great! Food was also nice. Only negative is that there were some spiderwebs in the toilet room, could have been cleaned a bit better.
