Leesat (4/5): DO NOT STAY AT THKS HOTEL - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU ARE AN INDIAN MAN LOOKING FOR PROSTITUTES The only reason I have given 2 stars is the Thai staff are very polite and the breakfast is good. I travelled with my husband & son and felt very unsafe. The entrance to the hotel is lined with prostitutes from 8.30pm onwards. We also witnessed 'the girls' leaving the hotel in the morning & getting picked up by motorbike after being signed out by someone sitting at a dedicated desk on the reception. Very sleazy and felt more like a brothel than a hotel. The only other guests staying at the time we were there were Indian men. We checked out after 2 nights and I urge anyone with children not to stay at this hotel.
325puneetk (8/5): Comfortable and cosy hotel in central pattaya - We stayed for one night with family. The rooms are big, clean and well maintained. They have pool with water joy ride. Overall it is highly recommended.

The Thai staff were completely fine, the Indians are incapable of speaking at a low volume at 1pm around the pool. 4am in the hotel corridor. I was woken a few nights ago by hotel security splitting up a hotel room party and turfing out 10 Indians from 1 room alone.
Amankalra_in8 (10/5): Most of the things about the property ate good , but what makes the property exceptional is the senior staff ( MAY ) - Thailand is like second hone to me as I visited the city more then hundred times , stayed at this hotel many times , location is good if not the best , pool area is awesome , rooms are good with balcony , breakfast is ok , reception area is good , what makes the hotel great is the senior reception staff ( MAY ) she is so cooperative and attentive n hard working , God bless her , I will surely recommend n visit again …

Roving61210538912 (2/5): Don't book here and a lots of fake reviews - My experience at Grand Bella fell short of the high expectations set by its appealing photos and reviews on Agoda, which boasted a very good rating of 7.7, with many perfect scores. Upon arrival, the bustling lobby, crowded with guests and echoing with conversation, made initial impressions less than ideal. The situation didn't improve when I attempted to use the breakfast area, finding the tables unpleasantly oily and sticky. Complications arose when informed at the front desk that my reserved room lacked a window, contrary to my expectations. Despite my requests to view the room, clear communication was not provided, ultimately preventing me from seeing the room at all. This lack of transparency led me to decide to cancel my reservation. The cancellation process turned out to be frustrating and convoluted. Despite immediate communication with both the hotel staff and Agoda, I was met with resistance and misinformation regarding refund eligibility. It took a week of back-and-forth discussions, involving multiple hotel representatives and Agoda, to clarify the situation. The hotel's reliance on a strict cancellation policy as a defense, despite my proactive approach to canceling, felt unjust and poorly handled. Regrettably, this experience culminated in a loss of eight days' worth of booking fees, highlighting a disappointing lack of customer service and transparency on the part of Grand Bella. This experience starkly contrasts with the positive reviews and has left me with a strong feeling of dissatisfaction. Burt

Hotel ratings at hotel.com was also very positive. Unfortunately, when we got to the hotel, our experience was not that great. During check-in: hotel staff did not have control. Guests during check-in were mostly Indian men with a few Chinese tourists. Guests were rude and staff did nothing about it. Don't bother getting in line as nobody will care. We only found out that this hotel caters to single male Indian men looking for women so do not bring your family here. The Indian males will gawk at your family the entire time. I did not feel comfortable here. Room quality: Walked into the room and took off our shoes. Very bad idea as the floors were very dirty. you must keep your shoes on at all times or your feet will be very dirty. There were very few bathroom amenities so bring your own. The rooms are not sound proof so you will hear everything from the hallway. There were many people hanging out in the hallway at night so you will not get a good night sleep. Someone kept ringing our door bell at 2 am. There were ants in the room and we saw a very large RAT in the hall way. Needless to say, we checked out the very next day and lost 3 nights. Hotel refused to refund our money and said we stole a slipper even though we did not touch anything so please avoid this hotel; very shady! Overall, very bad hotel. Dirty rooms, rude guests, bad customer service. Avoid!

Jeff (4/5): Well I won't be going there again - This hotel was overrun with Indian tour groups looking for girls. The pictures of the hotel does not capture the what your in for. The staff were the best thing about the hotel. Excellent check in staff dealing with a complete cluster situation. I would not recommend the stay. Next time I will stay a bit further away from the madness and in better hotel. The beach is very average too. Nothing compared to other parts of Thailand.
farhoud (4/5): You wont get to sleep here - The hotel takes large group bookings of single Indian men, who have no respect for other guests in the hotel, out of 2 weeks stay we were only able to sleep may be 3 nights without being woken up at 3 am to the sound of drunk men in the hall ways, spoke to managment about it that may be they could place a sign in the elevator or reception asking guests to respect other paying guests by reducing noise levels after 12 am, but managment did nothing about it, so if you want a good nights sleep avoid this hotel, as you wont get it, also dont ask for extra towels as you will get the third degree as to why you want extra towels. It is a shame becuase the hotel iteslf had good size rooms and clean and good location. just indiferent management.
Stuart (6/5): Good value for the cost - This hotel could be a real gem if managed differently. The following are my own views and may not be those of all guests. 1.The check in was like a free for all with the reception area absolutely jam packed. Only one guy on reception for at least one hour of our wait. We arrived at 12:30pmwhich was before the 2:00pmstated . 2. The room was good and it was clean. However not one single drawer and just a rail as a wardrobe. Towels provided were old and badly worn but changed daily. The rooms were very noisy due to doors slamming almost every hour of the day. Beds were quite hard. 3. The staff were excellent everywhere. 4. The hotel caters for the Indian community and mostly males. They were everywhere in our building (3). They were very loud in the pool area. 5. There were 2 swimming pools but one on the roof didn't open while 11:00am, why? People were queuing to access daily. 6. The breakfast food was quite good value with plenty of choices. However the restaurant was too small creating access problems and a shortage of seats. It was uncomfortable. There was an obvious shortage of staff on at least 5 days of our stay. The area should be made bigger by adding an extension towards the swimming pool. 7. Wifi was good in 80% of the hotel but non existent at the roof swimming pool. 8. The drinks menu at the hotel was very cheap, only 50 Baht for a beer. 9. Basically I believe that the hotel had too many guests staying. However we didn't pay a fortune so it was quite good
Verified traveler (8/5): Price and what is really offered are balanced - Good hotel not far away from pattaya beach. Good rooms. Breakfast is average. Did not like lots of Indian visitors. Many of them are not "aware" what is hygiene in the pool etc. and their overall behaviour.

Nagesh (8/5): Centrally located and 10 minutes walk from Beach - This is my second visit to this hotel. You will feel at home without any hassles or complications. Staff is polite and considerate. We had some issue with the safety locker in the rpoom. Otherwise stay was pleasant.
Philip (4/5): Not somewhere I would go back to. - As we say the first impression is a lasting impression. Unfortunately I arrived at 8.30am to a very busy reception and was told no room would be available till midday. The reason I booked this hotel is that they had a relaxed policy on early arrivals and would have no problem finding a room, even if only for a short time.I was extremely tired after a long journey and had to wait nearly four hours till a room became free. The first night I had little sleep due to the next room watching TV very loudly till 4am. I tried to use the pool the next day, only to find because it was in the centre of hotel, it was completely in shade and very overcrowded. The room was good with a nice walk in shower, but unfortunately no where to put your clothes, just a few hangers no cupboards no shelves, very poorly designed. So overall I cant see how this is a four star hotel, id say 2+ would be about right .
Ann (2/5): Ablsolutely disgusting hotel! - Staff were rude.Sent us to a pay phone outside the hotel to confirm a tour that we had booked. Breakfast was a joke with warm milk,warm juice , had to wait for eggs to be cooked for ages, did not replace plates or cutlery, Tables were not cleared for people to sit after last person,did not keep filling up food . I can not say how bad the breakfast experience was every day.The pool area was not cleaned until the following day e.g If people were to have food or a drink by the pool ,which is what you do , the glasses and plates were still there at midnight. I know this because this is what time we were arriving home and we spent most days by the pool so we could see what people were ordering. Pool towels were ordinary white bath towels that were old ,discoloured and so thin with stains all over them . Do not be fooled by the pictures of hotel as while we were there they had photos taken for the website and they used brand new towels,put up brand new umbrellas brought in plants and then after took them all away.So bad !!

Michael (8/5): Good hotel but lacks drawer storage !!! - I stayed here for it's quieter location but very easy 3 minute walk to the nightlife. The rooms are good . Try to go for the higher level poolside view ( even numbers) in block 1 if you want sunshine on your balcony in the morning. My only critism of the room was no drawer storage in any of the rooms I saw. There only a hanging rail.

The rooms are like apartments as the kitchen and living room/tv are in the first section then you walk into the next section where your bed is then you continue and there is another section for your wardrobe then finally there is the bathroom with a separate shower and bath aswell as toilet.

They have plenty of Indian tourist, that tends to give you a very uncomfortable feeling the way they look at you like a piece of meat. Not nice when you want to go and relax with family. But not all were like that. Breakfast was good , plenty of selection.

Verified traveler (4/5): Ok rooms but bad service - Big beds but the materials seem cheap. Pretty hard pillows. Had a large swimming pool that is used by a lot of people. The rooms a fairly bright with a balcony. Had to wait til around 5-6 pm each day for the room to be cleaned. Stayed an extra night but they tried to avoid cleaning the room for two days with the reason that they wouldn't clean it because it was a check in day. Brought in a beer to replace the bottle (exact same brand) I had the day before (before room was cleaned), but they stopped me and said that I couldn't do that and charged me for that one on check out day. I asked but couldn't extend check out beyond their very early 10:00 am check out time. Front desk staff seems cold and over worked.

Change once or twice and you anywhere in Pattaya by tuck tuck. Made to measure suits very cheap and very good quality. Walking Street 20 minutes walking or take tuck tuck. Island of Kho Larn very beautiful with great beachs. Hotel with washing machine and dryer on building 3.

Just take care of the Check Out Time which is 10 AM that is 2 hours earlier than the usual check out time of 12 PM. For late check out's they charge extra. This Hotel is simply superb. Breakfast was great.
