Had a room with blinded windows…No elevator at all, but friendly staff will help carrying heavy luggage upstairs (2nd floor). Street car stop is close in walking distance.
- Na (10/5): - 鹿児島中央駅から近く、周りにスーパーや飲食店も多いので過ごしやすかったです。 スタッフの対応も丁寧で快適に過ごせました。 ただ、ベッドのマットレス（2枚重ねてあるうちの下の方）のサイド部分に汚れがあり、シーツで隠れてもいなかったので改善していただきたいです。その点以外は文句なしです。

- Moruya (8/5): - The German inspired style of the room and furniture was fun and interesting. There were some parts of the room that could be updated (There was a lamp shade that was cracked and the bathroom had some water damage). The shampoo/conditioner bar was so much fun as you got to pick which ones were your favorite and bring some to your room. The breakfast was also really good. The location is really close to the main station so it was easy to take public transfer to and from there.

- Christian Thorsten (8/5): - Das Hotel Gasthof hat einen ganz eigenen Flair weil es einem deutschen Gasthof nachempfunden ist. Der Stil ist rustikal altmodisch und das macht den Charme aus. Die Zimmer sind für japanische Verhältnisse groß. Das Personal war freundlich, wir konnten unsere Koffer an der Rezeption abgeben und diese standen sogar schon in unserem Zimmer als wir dieses dann später bezogen haben. Toll kannst insgesamt nur empfehlen

- Josephine (10/5): So convenient - This is a great choice of hotel in a fabulous location, right near the JR station and many car rental places. The hotel is not that large and we were lucky to get interconnecting rooms. However, the rooms have too much furniture in them and as a result, feel small (the extra low table and chair did not need to be there) but we only used the rooms for sleeping. Even though there are a number of restaurants in the same building, we recommend visiting the night stalls at Kagomma Furusato Yataimura, just around the corner.

- Keiichiro (8/5): ヨーロッパのプチホテル風 - ヨーロッパのプチホテルを思わせるホテルです。装備も贅沢ではなく、どちらかとしては古い。周辺には地元の食材を食べさせるとことがあり、空港バスや新幹線乗り場までは近い。なにより魅力なのはその価格の安さ。旅慣れた人なら、選ぶホテルでしょう。最近のスマートモダンなホテルが好みならまず満足を得られません。私個人としては、率先して泊まりたいホテルです。
- 人間 (6/5): - "客室"はいいんですけど、"客質"が・・・・ ホテル自体はアンティークな内装で素敵なんですが、それゆえか、他の部屋や廊下の声がよく聞こえます。 特に隣に知能に障害を持たれた方々が泊まっている時なんて、一晩中、宴会の喧騒が響いてきます。 「うるさい」というコメントも非常に多く散見されたので、そういう理由で部屋替えをお願いしたときのスタッフの対応次第ですかね、ここの評価は・・・・
- Verified traveler (6/5): 全体的に良し悪しです。 - 鹿児島中央駅から近く、鉄道・市電・バスでの移動には便利です。 また、近くにイオンがあるので、買い物にも便利です。 ただ、お部屋はヨーロッパ風のレトロな感じでよかったのですが、ちょっと古めかしかった感じがします。階段から2階の廊下にかけて、何か変な匂いがしたのが気になりました。 スタッフの対応は、丁寧で良かったと思います。
- Alan (6/5): Noisy hotel - This was a lovely hotel, and our room was lovely when we arrived however when we went to bed that evening it was so noisy we had to go downstairs to reception to complain. The night porter did his best to resolve our problem by giving us another room Which was a lot quieter but there was still noise from the bar below, this was a shame as otherwise it would’ve been a really nice hotel stay.

- David (4/5): Fantastic position,obliging staff, that’s it! - Fantastic position.Close to public transport, restaurants, and Department store. Dated hotel, very dark, smokey(it was supposed to be a non smoking room) cluttered room, very big heavy unnecessary furniture making it unsafe particularly in a dark room at night. Breakfast for those who would prefer not to have Asian food was a bread roll and jam. No elevators, carry your own bags up to level 1 no exceptions. Such a shame it could be so much better with simple improvements. Obliging staff

- Mark (6/5): 穴場のホテル - イベントがありホテルが無い時だったので助かりました。もう少し安かったよかったと思います。 機会があればもう一度泊まってみたいと思います。
- ゆん (6/5): 鹿児島中央駅に近いフットワークの良いホテル - トリプルルームに泊まりました。この値段で鹿児島中央駅に近く、しかも3人寝れるのはすごく助かります。部屋の洗浄付きトイレの使い方がイマイチよくわかりませんでした。ユニットバスの床が、レトロで素敵なタイルでした。
- ひさえ (8/5): 鹿児島中央駅から徒歩5分 - アットホームな雰囲気。 2階に上がるのは階段のみなので、年配者にはオススメ出来ない。オートロックではなく、鍵の開閉が快適ではなかった。ベッドの寝心地はよかった。朝食も悪くない。何より駅とバスターミナルに近いのはありがたい。紹介してもらった日帰り温泉は地元御用達の銭湯。駄目な人には駄目かも。バスタブがもう少し大きいとありがたい。トイレはウォシュレットだが、暖房便座ではない。 フロント近くに喫煙ルームがあるので、煙草臭い。 シャンプーリンスを数種類から1回分選べる。

- GT (8/5): Location is very convenience. - As the weather is cold outside, hot water and tea always easy to get as well as extra blanket. Also, they are willing to keep our luggage with no handling charge. For Wi-Fi, strong and fast in room.

- Rebecca (8/5): close to kagoshima-chuo station but no elevator - Chose this hotel because it's near Kagoshima-Chuo station and has free wifi. Stayed for one night. Was able to communicate with staff in simple English. Had to carry luggage up and down stairs because there was no elevator. Room was clean and a good size.
