• Kevin (9/5): Un très bon séjour reposant - L’environnement et la vue était superbe. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et le staff était très aimable. Les lampes accrochée au plafond sur le côté du lit sont très basse. Vous devez faire attention à ne pas vous cogner à chaque fois en vous levant. Petit point dommage, on aurait aimé être prévenu en amont de notre arrivée à l’hôtel que la plage était fermée. Nous sommes rester une journée, nous avions prévu de nous détendre à la plage, il a fallut qu’on refasse notre planning au dernier moment. Ça aurait été chouette de le dire avant pour qu’on puisse prévoir en amont. Le petit déjeuner n’était pas d’une très bonne qualité.

El hotel no tiene playa propia, y tienes que caminar al hotel samabe que está a la izquierda. La restauración deja mucho que desear, en especial la carta del restaurante. El desayuno es bastante razonable

The huge balcony with outdoor seating was really appreciated by my whole family. The free plushie was an wonderful touch As an asthmatic i am sensitive to dust. Some furniture and appliances were quite dusty. The toilet bowls are not that clean too

• Iva.Koz (8/5): The views!! - The size of the room and all rooms having ocean views are highlights of this hotel for sure. I really enjoyed the stay there, plus every person working there has been super nice and made our stay even better. There is also a free shuttle service to Nusa dua which is very useful for a day at Nusa dua beach or to go to the town center to do some shopping and dinner. The beach itself is not taken care of. It's more of a wild beach, and you need to walk a bit further to reach other hotel beaches which are nicer. They do have a lovely pool area though but still we preferred going to other beaches.

• NatDaze (6/5): Disappointing and definitely not 5 star - The breakfast staff were exceptional and really attentive. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. The pool was really nice. The view from the room was amazing and the room itself was huge Day 1 we didnt have hot water so had to call to get that fixed. Later that night our TV stopped working and had to call to get that replaced. The shower took a long time to drain and everytime we used it, the floor around the toilet would flood and took 1.5hr to drain and dry so you had wet feet when you needed to use the toilet. We got room service and the pizza was undercooked. No welcome drink offered on arrival. They have bikes and a canoe to use for free but lobby staff didnt bother to inform us that the bikes need to be booked the day before and the canoe only used in the morning. The lobby staff gave basic service, provided your keycard and told you what time breakfast was, not what I expected from a 5 star hotel. Felt more like a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star. Would rather pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

• mirela (9/5): In generale bene - Le camere del hotel hanno tutte una bella vista sull’oceano. Penso che è il punto forte del hotel, anche la piscina insieme al giardino curato bene. Praticamente le stanze sono enormi con tutto il necessario. Direi di offrire più opzioni per la colazione dolce. La cucina del ristorante per pranzo e cena da migliorare. P.S : consiglio di curare le piante/fiori nei balconi.

• Thomas (4/5): Nice view, but would not recommend, place is a little tired and worn. - The view from the balcony. The in-house spa. Was the worst, dirtiest spa we have ever used in 25years of coming to Bali, and the main reason we cut our stay short and left early.

• Graham (7/5): We were attending a wedding at Glamp Nusa which is next to Ulu Segara. So the hotel was convenient. - The hotel is built on and in front of a cliff. The view from the balcony to the reef is spectacular. The suites are very large and comfortable. The swimming pool is not large but very private. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is on top of the cliff. Electric buggies were necessary to go between the lobby and the hotel building along roads cut through the cliff. It is not easy to walk around because of the steep terrain. Beach access is difficult because the path/steps to the beach were not completed. The beach bar is seriously in need of maintenance. There is only one restaurant.

Breakfast excellent with a lot of choice and swimming pool very good. the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The sun went off the swimming pool around 3pm which was disappointing as there is no beach. To swim in the sea involves a lot of steps down to the sea and obviously a lot to climb back up. There is only 1 restaurant which has a nice compact menu and the location is out of the way and you need a taxi to go to other locations, restaurants etc. We were disappointed in the location and only stayed for 1 week of the 2 we had booked. we returned to out original hotel The Bali Tropic and Spa which suited our needs perfectly.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not as good as expected - I have been following the hotel for 7 years and finally had a chance to visit Bali and stay in the hotel. When I arrived the hotel, I realised that I had to climb the slope to check in. The 2 guys at the lobby saw me carrying heavy luggage to climbe but didn't offer any help. One guy looked at me for 3 times but turned away his head every time. This left me a poor first impression and I won't rate you high regardless how good the hotel is. After I arrived the lobby, one of the 2 guys came and offered to help with the luggage, I was so frustrated and rejected the help. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but the 2 guys ruined your reputation a lot. The room was spacious, but some details were not good. For instance, there is no hand wash liquid which is uncommon. No bath salt is provided though there is bath tub. My wife was sick and need to see doctor on the day of check out. The hotel wasn't busy, but I was only given half an hour extension for check out which is inconsiderate. The hotel looks old and not well maintained. I believe it used to be very good but it is no longer the case. The view is fantastic but there are very limited activities in the hotel. I don't think I will return again.

Var svårt att få veta när det var öppet. Avsläppt vid fel hotell av ”shutteln” det var mörkt och jag gick bara ur eftersom han bara skulle stanna vid vårt hotell. Det löste dock hotellet snabbt och hämtade mig. Maten okej. Kanonfin pool. Inget lyxhotell men fin miljö och mysig personal.

Beautifully proportioned rooms and lovely furnishings with incredible view of ocean (huge windows with balcony to enjoy the afternoon cocktail and read a book). Fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and sea breeze. Staff were friendly, very accommodating and professional. Definitely recommend.

Expedia, I have always been happy booking through you but you should really investigate the properties you list as a 5 Star as I was very disappointed.

• Tessa (10/5): Luxury appartment and great staff - Stunning views and luxurious accommodation with lovely staff. Pool is very nice, big enough for some proper exercise. The apartment was massive and all have sea views, just amazing. For us the location was a bit out of the way, this could also be a good thing... The hotel do a shuttle bus regularly to the Bali Collection although this is a fairly corporate kind of area. The appartments are stunning though and cabs easily arranged so you can go to more characterfull places in nearby Uluwatu etc and enjoy the apartments as a great and luxurious base.

The staff of the restaurant and the bar could barely speak in english, resulting in delayed or wrong orders. The communication with the reservations department prior to our arrival was difficult.
