• Daniele (8/5): - A very tranquil setting in the mountains of Isernia. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom fixtures were all in good condition. Unfortunately the design of the shower doors in my room did not allow access to the shower. Whilst most hotel bathrooms in Italy are tight the doors should allow access to wash your body.

• Alberto (8/5): - L'hotel è classificato come 4 stelle, ma deve rivedere qualcosa. Di positivo c'è sicuramente la sua posizione, situata sulla statale da Isernia a Campobasso e attaccata al santuario di Castelpetroso. Molto buona e variegata la colazione, cn prodotti sia freschi che confezionati, ma di marche anche conosciute. Camera pulita e spaziosa. Di contro c'è che la tv poteva essere un po' più grande, perché una 22 pollici, vista dal letto, da una distanza di circa 2 metri, non è il massimo, oltretutto, messa sulla scrivania e nemmeno appesa al muro. Un'altra cosa che da non poco fastidio, ma ahimè, la struttura è adibita anche a questo, sono le cerimonie che si protraggono fino a notte fonda. Io personalmente ne ho beccata una, e stando al primo piano, sentivo oltre che la musica, persino la gente che ballava, quindi, su questa cosa, dovete essere anche un po' fortunati a non beccarne nessuna, o almeno, a soggiornare in un piano più alto!!! Nel complesso la struttura è perfetta per chi deve muoversi per andare in giro per borghi e ristoranti, ma per il resto si dovrebbe rivedere qualcosa.

Le camere sono molto luminose e grandi con un comodo bagno. La zona è molto tranquilla e silenziosa con tanto verde e di sicuro ci ritornerò come turista con mia moglie, per poter usufruire della SPA - delle piscine (interna ed esterna) ed anche del centro massaggi. Arrivederci a presto..!!!!

Ich finde es unfair dass das nicht auf der Seite dieses Hotels nicht spezifiziert wird! Für nur das blosse Schlafen hätte auch einen günstigeren/3Stern buchen können! Das sind reine Attrappen! Sollte man einen anderen Preis bezahlen deshalb schlag ich vor mir eine Offerte zu machen oder einen Teil zu rückerstatten! Vielen Dank Mohler P.

• Rina (10/5): Great Hotel in a Terrific Location - We enjoyed our stay at La Fonte dell'Astore. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, attending to our every need. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with many options not offered at other hotels in the area. In addition the hotel restaurant was also delicious. the rooms were air conditioned and wifi worked well. We will be back soon!!

• Explore Molise (10/5): Great Base For Exploring Molise - Big (for Italy) clean rooms and friendly/helpful staff. Very easy to find and easy access, right off the SS17 (Benevento-Isernia). Stayed for 4 nights, including a weekend. It was July so there were lots of weddings and fireworks but the noise levels were tolerable (only really noticed the fireworks). Ask for a quiet room if you're worried about it. We were on the side opposite the patio/party area and it was fine. Great breakfast selection and for dinners the restaurant has a great menu with daily specials. No trouble finding parking, even during weekend. The rate we paid for four nights would barely have paid for one night at a similar hotel in Naples or Rome - VERY reasonable! The Santuario is walking distance and should be seen while you're there. We will be back to continue our explorations of beautiful Molise!
• Lucy & Marissa (8/5): Trip to remember - Hi , I booked with expedia.ca & called 1800 to speak with an agent & had many questions before I booked , the one question that stuck to mind was , is the Hotel equipped with the pool that I see on line ? she quoted yes , when I arrived @ Hotel & in home town with my nice , Went to check-in & the first thing I discovered the pool is not included & I said What ? that was the reason I booked there because there not much to do. They said it would cost me 35.00 Euro per day per person & being a weekend it was 45.00 euro . The pool belonged to the Spa side by side. Was not happy , out of 5 days stay I only booked 2 days of the pool spa & paid 25.00 euro per person per day , the Hotel staff was trying to accommodate us the best they could with a lower rate , so ! will I book with Expedia again , NO
• Joel (6/5): Like a cheesy Pocono resort - Took a deluxe suite. Had to ask desk for towels. Room had minimal lighting and no decor. Cheap furniture. Restaurant should stick to pizza. If I had paid $250 for the room, I would have been rather upset.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - It was the feast day of La Madonna and we stayed overnight for all the festivities! The hotel was fantastic, the only think was that there were weddings and you could hear the music playing all night long! One wedding went till 5 am!
• Betsy (10/5): Simple, clean and friendly! - We stayed in hotels in London, Rome, Sorrento and Capri on our trip this past month. Although this sweet hotel is not "new", it was one of our very favorites. A beautiful mountain view from our room, very clean and a good size (compared to so many tiny rooms in today's market!). The best part for us was the staff. They were all so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. A beautiful breakfast and a large lobby with a grand piano- our favorite! We can't wait to return to this lovely place. There is a newer, pricer sister hotel and spa right next door if you prefer more "glam". This price was great for us and we were fine with the "no frills" as long as it was clean and comfy, which it was. You may have a few weddings with dance music until late, but you will also get some great fire works! Thank you, Hotel La Fonte Dell'Astore!!

• Lara (8/5): Amazing view on the antuario Maria Santissima Addo - My favorite thing about this hotel is the windows' view on the Santuario Maria Santissima Addolorata... unbelievable.. This is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately that was the only thing I have been able to enjoy about this hotel because I arrive late in the evening and left early in the morning. However, during this short time, I have requested an iron and I have obtained it straight. Good reactivity.

She responds quickly to all requests. The staff arranged for us to be picked up and taken back to the train station. My family and I are so grateful to them for making our stay in Castelpetroso so enjoyable!
• Tomi (10/5): get-away in Molise - price was right, nice rooms good service and food was excellent. The hotel was out in a rural area about 15 k from Esernia. There was a large church about half a k away and they seem to hold a lot of wedding receptions there. I would stay there again

Our last hotel rang thru to confirm the booking and must have told them about all our bags because they up graded us to a suite which was enormous and very comfortable. It even had the most amazing kitchenette. which we didnt use. but will remember for next time and with the open fire we will make sure to come back in winter. The girl on the desk was really helpful and the breakfast was good and in an old kitchen that everyone just had to photograph. Loads of reception rooms to use. private chapel. terrace with views to die for and a restaurant downstairs that we missed, but saw walking past later was gorgeous and packed solid, so food must be good. This is on our list to come back to and stay longer
