- Johanna (8/5): Schönes Hotel - Die Lage ist angenehm, weil das Hotel ruhig gelegen ist. Hübsches Zimmer. Schöner Frühstücksraum mit separatem Buffetraum. Frühstück sehr schön präsentiert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Der Kühlschrank hatte ein Leck und lief aus. Er wurde später demontiert. Bei der Installation der WC-Schüssel hat sich der Installateur vertan, weil er die Höhe viel zu niedrig angesetzt hat.

- Cornelia (8/5): - Das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage, Nähe See. Das Hotel sehr komfortabel. Die Bedienung im Restaurant am Abend sehr herzlich und den Gästen zugewandt. Danke! Die Begrüßung am Morgen mit der Frau vom Frühstückservice war leider ungemütlich, sonst wäre der Aufenthalt perfekt gewesen.

- Irene (7/5): - Als sie noch für meinen kleinen Hund Malteser . Geld verlangten wir hatten kein zusatzleistungen gebraucht für ihn. Ich hatte das Vorgängig abgeklärt da hies es , nein fallen keine mehrleistungen an. Und dann wollten sie doch. Das gibt es nicht.

- Caroline (9/5): Es war alles perfekt - Das Essen war hohe Schule, sehr exklusiv, besser geht nicht. Das Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent, perfekt. Ich verstehe bei dem Niveau die 3 Sterne nicht, das müsste mann neu mal anschauen, 4 plus müssten das sein...mindestens.

- Rocco (7/5): Buono ma non troppo. - Pulizia, accogliente e tranquillo. Recupero chiave tramite codice. Ristorante chiuso, anche se ufficialmente doveva essere aperto. No frigobar! Ci si deve accontentare dell'acqua da rubinetto, collocata in una caraffa. Colazione sufficiente, mettendo in conto il prezzo pagato per un hotel che non si trova in una grande città, ma simile ad un paesello di campagna. Purtroppo la Svizzera è cara e non offro per il prezzo che paghi avvolte i servizi di altri ristoratori in altri paesi.

- D1855MAjanes (10/5): Delightful charming hotel - Stayed for 3 nights, we had 3 rooms between 4 of us. Very comfortable beds. All delightful and although the views are not the best I would definitely stay here again. Spotless rooms and had everything you needed including a hairdryer. Breakfast was stunning, continental with meat and cheese as you would expect plus scrambled eggs and bacon. We had room 16 which is quietly located and you can see the lake in the distance. All the staff were perfectly charming and made us and our teenage kids very welcome. There was a charge for parking which I hadn't expected but would not put me off staying here again. Few minutes walk to the lake or harbour, 20 minutes to St Gallen train station and 1hr from Zurich airport. Overall a magical experience.

We had to have the windows open and there was vey loud music and noise from the bar opposite until 4am. I felt that the propert was very expensive for what you got

- FTW2016 (4/5): No charm no amenities - This hotel was pre-booked for us by our bike tour company. It was a disappointment. There was no receptionist when we arrived after a long day of biking along Lake Konstanz. When we called, the person on the other end did not speak any of the four languages I speak and only instructed us in German to enter a code, access a key, play switcheroo to get a second key to our room on the third floor of a building with no elevator or air conditioning. The room was sparse and minimally decorated with old simple furnishings. The hallways wreaked of cheap air freshener odor that was supposed to mask other odors. The breakfast was surprisingly good and served on a small terrace overlooking the parking but separated by a row of hedges. The one server who was there actually yelled at my husband "I'm coming" when we tried to get her attention for more coffee. I would not stay here again.

- Heartdoctor (10/5): One night stay while cycling round Bodensee - The room was fine, but the chief asset of the hotel is the superb cooking and gourmet cuisine. The chef is very good indeed. I had the lobster bisque followed by fish of the day which was monkfish. Excellent tarte tatin dessert.

- Sherpa66693786687 (6/5): Nice stay one night - Stayed one night, nice charming, very old building, family type small hotel with old but clean minimalist room, small basic bathroom. In my room window on the side of the street, occasionally noisy, especially if windows open. No A/C. Restaurent with nice small terrace is good but not extraordinary, good selection on the wine list. Everyone working was nice and polite. Very good breakfast. Would be perfect place at 160 Sfr. If must stay in that are for a night, probably best choice, anyway.

I am always staying at this marvellous hotel if I have the chance, thanks to the wonderful staff and the excellent standard of the hotel facilities. It is always clean, comfortable and, exactly as the name suggests, very charming. There are no such things.I blame only myself for forgetting to bring a power plug converter as the wall sockets in Switzerland are a bit different than the Swedish ones.
