• kate (8/5): Had a lovely time! Enjoyed Kaikōura throurouly 🙏 - Loved it here! Place was well maintained with clean and very comfortable beds. I loved that they gave you towels. The cabins are so cute the only thing I would hope for is a lite switch and outlet by the beds for reading and charging phones. Otherwise very nice. The bathroom had sort of a sewage smell which was a bit off putting, and I would prefer the pots and pans and dishes to be in the kitchen instead of rooms so that you don’t have to bring everything back and forth, which was just a bit annoying. But otherwise everything was perfect!

• Red (9/5): Amazing staffs, Great value! - Unit Amenities were great - utensils, dishwasher, wash machine. Staffs were super friendly. Game room was fantastic. Plenty of toilets. The pay machine for billiards misfired a few times and ate our game credits without releasing the balls. It should be check for any errors. The barbeque was good though the flame strength was weak and cooking was slow. A small outdoor table to go with the outdoor bench on the villa units will be a nice addition for the outdoor experience. The bike rent should have shorter than 4 hours rent just like Top10 Hanmer. Perhaps consider too a bulk rent price if hiring more than 2 bikes? Finally, the pool was not operational when we visited, same as our previous visit last year.
• Yitian (7/5): - The location is perfect for getting up early for whale watch. Spaceful and well-equipped. Staff turned on the AD before we arrived so the room is warm and cozy upon arriving. However, AD is too old to operate well. We followed the instruction to adjust the temperature, then the fuse blewed. When It came back, AD couldn't work anymore. The reception had been out of hour so can't get any help. They have no additional heaters or electric blanket. So had a cold night. Not very satisfied with this.

• Sarah (9/5): - Fabulous location. Lovely and clean, grounds so well maintained. Spacious and comfortable seating/beds. Washer and dryer was a bonus! Located right on the side of the highway, which we knew and so there was alot of traffic noise, which didn't really bother us but may bother a light sleeper. What was annoying was the large trucks idling on the side of the road for periods of time very late at night....it was just on the other side of the hedge and close to the bedrooms.

Especially loved the bathroom and toilets with the underfloor heating and being able to book the private spa. The non-stick pans in the kitchen and the black plastic kitchen utensils. These should be replaced with either wooden utensils or stainless steel pans.

• pakabay (8/5): Central & well presented - We had two nights at the Kaikoura Top 10 Holiday Park this week in a self-contained Studio Unit with its own small deck & dedicated parking. The park is well maintained and very well presented and out apartment was the same. Located towards the northern end of town, it’s close to cafes, restaurants and shopping and just a short drive to the Watch station. My only regret is that the park is located on State Highway 1, and the heavy haulage trucks run north to south day & night. I’m a light sleeper so I didn’t enjoy that too much. Try to get a spot on the eastern side of the park.

• Pip (9/5): Great caravan park and perfect even if you are not camping. The cabins are great! - The caravan park is exceptionally well maintained. We were on a road trip and chose the small cabin for a two night stay. The smallest rooms are basically a bed in a shed but size can be deceiving. The bed was super comfortable with great quality linen. The interior was simple with a set of basic cutlery , crockery and cooking utensils - enough to prepare a meal in the communal kitchen. We stored out cold items in a labelled bag in the communal fridge and made meals there with other guests. The bathrooms were well maintained with the heater going and nice music! Despite my first impression of the size of the mini cabin it was perfect for my husband and I for two days. The TV was a smart tv so we could sit up in bed and watch Netflix etc. We checked out the other facilities - TV room with lounged, games room, BBQs, multiple picnic tables and lovely views. The walk to town was very quick. The laundry was well equipped. I’d suggest two glasses be added to the basic kitchen kit in the cabin. Drinking my lovely drop from the Malbourough out of a coffee cup was my only gripe. Not everyone travels with wine glasses.

We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily choose to stay again if we visit Kaikoura in the future! The clothes dryer’s heating element is due for cleaning or servicing.
• russatroll6 (10/5): Kaikoura Top 10 Campground - We love the Top 10 camp sites around the South Island. Kaikōura camp is well set out and good amenities and clean.
• Shoregate (8/5): Great campsite near the centre of Kaikoura. - The site is well laid out with good spaces for the pitches. A short walk from the centre of Kaikoura. Good showers and toilets which are all very clean. 5 washing machines and driers which are paid by card so all very easy and helpful. Only issue is that it is between the main road through Kaikoura and the railway behind so there is some noise. Otherwise the site is very quiet.

Everything was clean and it has everything u need. They even supply pots and pan and utensils if u want to cook in the kitchen. Location is so close to everything. Some great fishing off the beach behind it.
• Andrea (10/5): Nothing short of brilliant. - The staff were amazing, the playground was great and it is in an excellent location. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Kaikoura, absolutely fantastic for families with small children. The only thing I could suggest is having a rubber floor mat for the shower/bath in the self contained/motel units as it’s a slip hazard not to with little children or toddlers. Otherwise there is not much else I could comment on!

If it’s possible to replace the current hot and cold taps in the bathroom with a modern mixer tap, that would be great, as it’s quite difficult to get warm water at the moment.

• theresadX1760VB (6/5): Disappointing visit - Have always stayed at the top 10 Kiakoura, and this time stayed for a couple of nights as we had enjoyed our previous experience here. Unfortunately, the cleanliness has deteriorated at the park and the womans toiles where unclean for most of our stay. I did report the dirty bathrooms and was told they only clean once a day due to a lack of staff. I do not think that is acceptable given that they are a Top 10 at superior level. Not only was the everyday cleaning lacking, but the bathrooms looked like they needed a very good spring clean, with walls and floors very dirty. Disappointing from a camp that had previously been so much better

Waschmaschine, Trockner und Geschirrspüler Auf dem Gelände gibt es einen Pool, Hüpfkissen und Spielplatz plus indoor Spielzimmer Unsere Jungs fanden es toll (wir auch - Kinder waren beschäftigt ;-). Sie haben aben auch viele andere Kinder getroffen, mit denen sie zusammen gespielt haben. Supermarkt, kleine Shops und Whale Watching fußläufig erreichbar. Alles top. Wegen der Bahngleise leider kein direkter Weg zum Strand/Meer möglich

• Annemarie (8/5): Handig, practisch en vriendelijk - We hadden alles bij elkaar aan faciliteiten. Men was vriendelijk en de camping waaraan wij stonden was gezellig. Hoewel zeer centraal gelegen, had het een keerzijde. Veel geluid van de het verkeer op de doorgaande weg recht achter het huisje en de heli platforms aan de andere kant.

• Tomas (10/5): Značka TOP10 mě mile překvapila, po naší cestě na NZ jsem měl dvě tezervace od TOP10 a vždy to bylo vynikající. Doporuču - Možnost vypraní a usušení je určitě věc která je v kempech výhodou
• Phoebe (8/5): Lovely holiday park and great value for money - Great location being close to the town and the holiday park had a great view of the mountains. The cabin was nice and comfy and the staff were accommodating when I asked for a cabin next to the toilet/shower block. We appreciated the cookware and kitchen utensils provided in the room. The kitchen wasn’t huge for the amount of people staying at the park so it got very busy around dinner time and hobs/sinks weren’t always available. It was also very dark by the toilet/shower block at night making it difficult to see and slightly creepy with the womens toilets being located at the back of the block.

• Macarsovitch (6/5): Expensive stay - Stayed the one night on a powered sire. Found the price very expensive. $ 72 for one night . That’s the most expensive I’ve ever stayed anywhere in NZ. Was going to stay 2 nights , but the price was far too much.
• Iain (10/5): Ideal place for our short stay - We had suite 11 which was ideal for our one night stay, very clean inside and out. It was very cold when we arrived but there was heating and extra bedding, so no probs there. Milk was provided in the large fridge which was useful. All in all it was perfect. Wee bit of traffic noise through the night, but a couple of pre bedtime glasses of wine on the second night fixed that problem
• Judith (10/5): This as a great place to stay! - This was a great place to stay. It was very close to the center of town. The place was so well equipped and even had a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and fresh.

• Chris D (10/5): Lovely holiday park just a few minutes from the town centre - It was our first time in a Top 10 Holiday Park, we took the family and grandchildren, it was exceptionally clean, good location to walk into town, better than many hotels and guesthouses in the area. There were no negatives at all
