Breakfast was plentiful with fresh croissants and jams, yoghurt with fresh fruit and we also had eggs on toast. Fruit juices and tea and coffee too.

Nice property, clean and comfortable with a beautiful large garden. Very easy to get to from the east - drive to the end of the M50 and turn right, two minutes and you are there. For sightseeing, Symonds Yat is about ten or so miles away (but you will need to walk when you get there, no views from the car).
The property is very rural, very quiet, which means nothing is within walking distance, so a car is necessary for your evening meals, for example, or a taxi if you like a bottle of wine with it. That said, it's only ten minutes - at most - to the centre of Ross-on-Wye. Breakfast was nice but limited - see the description. Comments rather than complaints;
- breakfast choice limited
- no locks on bedroom doors, which didn't bother us but may others.
- David (9/5): Superb -

Our room had a kettle and a good selection of teas and coffees. Our host gave us fresh milk on arrival. The ensuite was a great size, clean and warm and we were given plenty of towels. Our host was the nicest, we received a lovely warm and friendly welcome and that loveliness remained throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious and served with the same warm and friendly manner we received upon arrival. Our host took an interest without being intrusive. The area is peaceful and our room has views of fields. No traffic. We visited nearby towns and found walks we really enjoyed, making it a great location. You can park outside the property which was an added bonus. Felt spoilt to find everything we wanted in one place. Leaving

The bedroom and en suite were both spacious and well equipped. We had a hearty breakfast to start our day and were very impressed with the quality of everything. Nothing really, my husband had to take extra care with the low doorway into the en suite but there are plenty of signs telling you to beware.
