• Shemeka (4/5): Honestly, it was a beautiful resort, but the experience was very poor based on the fire alarms up and down the flights u - The spa and the amenities.. Overall, the property itself was great, but my experience with my family was very poor. The fire alarm went off multiple times. With a 3-month-old and a 2-year-old, we couldn’t use the elevators right away and had to wait. We ended up going downstairs twice, and the third time the alarm was blaring inside. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to evacuate outside or stay put, and we were genuinely concerned it might go off again overnight. No one from the front desk checked on us, offered an apology, explanation, or compensation. We felt completely disregarded, and the lack of compassion from the staff made the experience very disappointing.

Elevators were small and long waits, they charge $50 per half hour if you want a late checkout. Room doors didn’t seem to lock properly.

The pool was fantastic the pool water was nice and warm. Overall, great experience, would stay here again. Everything was great, except the water slide was open, and watched by lifeguards, but it was pitch black inside! So my kids were scared to go down, i.e. can't see you hand in front of your face dark inside so maybe not for everyone.
• gentg (2/5): Will not visit again ever if free - Keeping people like summer around is a great way to collect one star review. Keep it up living water… This place is falling apart very fast. Last time we were here was during Covid and it was brand new. However this isn’t the main reason why this place sucks and deserves one star. Now, If you need anything send to your room like toilet paper and or coffee prepare to call front desk a couple of times at least. Toilet paper is very dear to them. They won’t hand you a roll without asking your room number and make sure you’re really out of it. If there is a problem in the room service is very slow and we had to call multiple times with no success about having our toaster replaced. After that I had to physically go downstairs to the front desk because telephoning them was not doing the trick. A few hours later a guy showed up with a greasy used toaster to replace the broken one. It worked. However the cake goes to the only white young woman at the front desk. Average height and heavy build. Very rude. She wanted to make sure to let you know that she had power, she was in charge and that she did. Power tripping local young lady.. Our son 6 is in the process of learning to swim and we visited the pool 4 times in our 7 day stay. Every single time she was at the desk she wouldn’t give us/me a key because we didn’t reserve it according to her. So my wife would go to the lady next to her right and she would get a key no questions asked. The day before last I decided to let a manager know about this incident and she the fuller bodied Summer, remember the only white girl the local one wouldn’t let me speak anyone. At least not until 2:30 when her shift ends. Reason “no one available”. A lie because the housekeeping lady very nice philippino young woman the one who greets guests checking in with cookies told me that the assistant manager also a philippino was inside the office. Now when you pay $210 per night plus $81 resort fee plus $8.00-$10.00 EV charging every night you expect to not have someone tell you “no you can’t have your 6 years old swim because there is no reservation”, especially when there is literally 3 people in the pool(check pictures) Being a sales and marketing manager I have really thick skin and always am generous in reviewing hotels and resorts (my wife is a lot stricter) but this young lady was something else and I think it broke camels back for me. This experience was not what we expected since we are trying to keep our dollars in Canada. We travel 10 weeks per year all of them in Florida and Virginia/DC area until Trump 2.0 and so far we have done 3 weeks in Cancun 2 weeks in Ontario, and will be 3 weeks in Quebec this coming August. But this isn’t good. We for guaranteed 100% for sure sure won’t be coming back here. But others will get the same treatment and this isn’t good. Canadians are trying to keep their dollars home and you treat them like this. Not cool. PS. The young ladies name is Summer If anyone wanna reach out to me please feel free to do so. The restaurant food was very good but extremely pricey. There's no need to charge $5 for a thimble of coffee or $18 for a bowl of lettuce. I realize everything is expensive but for a little bit of lettuce and coffee? That alone was close to $30.

• Karyna (3/5): - Everywhere in the photos it clearly shows a spa and related facilities, and we chose this hotel specifically for that reason. However, during booking there was no information that the spa needs to be reserved 6 weeks in advance. Because of this, we weren’t able to use the spa at all. The staff didn’t properly explain how the reservations work, and we only found out too late that everything had to be booked far in advance. Overall, the communication was very unclear, which made the experience disappointing. The main issue was the spa. It was heavily advertised in the photos, which is why we chose this hotel, but there was no clear information during booking that it had to be reserved 6 weeks in advance. As a result, we couldn’t use it at all. The staff didn’t clearly explain how the system works, and the communication overall was poor, which made the experience disappointing.

It was so bad that we couldn’t fall asleep and had to switch rooms at 2 am. We had to wake up our kid. Outdated everything in both rooms. Poor wifi in the 6th floor. No slippers were provided to access the pool, as being “eco friendly”, so we ended up buying plastic ones from the dollar store. In all spa and pool hotels, we were always given robes and slippers. Max this is a 2star hotel.

• Saeid (9/5): Super clean, spacious and comfortable stay - Large unit with a full kitchen and most importantly bright with lots of window and also pot light. Very good quality furniture and appliances. Super clean and spacious. We felt we want to stay longer. Pool was extremely busy and there wasn’t enough indoor activity for kids despite efforts to entertain kids during Easter season. There is a ton of activities that can be included to be kid friendly hotel.

Is close to restaurants, and a few minutes from Blue Mountain The beds were not in good condition the frame was peeling off, the curtains were dirty and has malfunction and the cleaning wasn’t good enough. Price is to high to get a room in that condition also the elevator was not working properly making sounds and super slow
• Annie (9/5): It was an enjoyable restful stay. - I love the view of the water and the mountains. A beautifully renovated resort. Good value for money. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was well equipped with a mini kitchen and all the necessitities. It was the weekend, so the pool was very busy, but it was good to see families and children enjoying themselves!

• liveveryday (10/5): Wonderful Week Away!! - We booked one week at the Living Water Resort for a one bedroom unit. My husband and I are very familiar with the restaurant on-site (Lakeside Restaurant, which is amazing) but have never stayed or even walked through the resort before. When we entered the main lobby, we were quickly introduced to Nate who welcomed us like we were guests in his own home. After giving us the information about the property we went to our room to check it out. Our room was on the 3rd floor, yet we entered the door from the hallway to find a set of stairs that we had to carry the luggage up to our door. I will admit that it was a little confusing, but as soon as we opened the door … so worth the confusion! The room was a one bedroom with a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, king bedroom and two balconies with a beautiful view of the waterfront! This room was perfect and staying here in the summer would be amazing. Everyone we met at the property were great, but it was Nate that stood out. Anytime we saw him in the lobby, he made sure to ask about our plans and was happy to give recommendations for local haunts. Nate and Michelle are a great team that care about the guests experience, thank you both! Highly recommend this property AND the wonderful Happy Hour at Lakeside (great food/drinks and staff) Disclaimer … we did not use the pool or hot tubs but the guests that did sure looked like they had a fun time.

Remote of DVD is out of battery, but was told DVD is old and not usable. I asked for an engineered to demonstrate and check usability of DVD with Netflix. When I asked for Engineer. Staffed laughed at me that I do not need an engineer for remote I was judged for asking Engineer for remote The facilities in s just too old… pls check when was the last time this hotel upgrade fixtures. • gentg (2/5): Keeping people like summer around is a great way to collect one star review. Keep it up living water - This place is falling apart very fast. Last time we were here was during Covid and it was brand new. However this isn’t the main reason why this place sucks and deserves one star. Now, If you need anything send to your room like toilet paper and or coffee prepare to call front desk a couple of times at least. Toilet paper is very dear to them. They won’t hand you a roll without asking your room number and make sure you’re really out of it. If there is a problem in the room service is very slow and we had to call multiple times with no success about having our toaster replaced. After that I had to physically go downstairs to the front desk because telephoning them was not doing the trick. A few hours later a guy showed up with a greasy used toaster to replace the broken one. It worked. However the cake goes to the only white young woman at the front desk. Average height and heavyweight. The rudest pos ever. She wanted to make sure to let you know that she had power, she was in charge and she did. Our son 6 is in the process of learning to swim and we visited the pool 4 times in our 7 day stay. Every single time she was at the desk she wouldn’t give me a key because we didn’t reserve it according to her. So my wife would go to the next lady right there and she would get a key no questions asked. The day before last I decided to let a manager know about this incident and she the fat white hillbilly girl wouldn’t let me speak anyone. At least not until 2:30 when her shift ends. Reason “no one available”. A lie because the housekeeping very nice philippino lady the one who greets guests checking in with cookies told me that the assistant manager also a philippino was inside the office. Now when you pay $210 per night plus $81 resort fee plus $8.50 EV charging every night you expect to not have someone tell you “no you can’t have your 6 years old swim because there is no reservation”. So just to clarify something because I have used not cool language in this review. Being a sales and marketing manager I have really thick skin and always am generous in reviewing hotels and resorts (my wife is a lot stricter) but this young lady was something else and I think it broke camels back for good. This experience was not what we expected since we are trying to keep our dollars in Canada. We travel 10 weeks per year all of them in Florida and Virginia/DC area until Trump 2.0 and so far we have done 3 weeks in Cancun 2 weeks in Ontario. But this isn’t good. We for guaranteed sure won’t be coming back here. But others will get the same treatment and this isn’t good. Canadians are trying to keep their dollars home and you treat them like shlt. PS.
