- Kiril (10/5): One of the best Hotels in Bulgaria - Great place on the Bulgarian seaside. We visit every time, when we decide to have a holiday in Bulgaria. From the beginning. Experience on the reception was excellent as always, very welcoming and professional. Makes you feel that extra special. The rooms were lovely. They ofer us an apartment, as a family of three, really very kind of them. And a double room for our friends. Both of them excellent,and with a nice sea views. Good spacious rooms, cleaned regularly through our stay. The restaurant and the food at Helena sands, are just fantastic. Very high level, with a good choice of salads, fish and meat. Have their own beach. You have to go a bit early, as it gets filed very quickly. But once there, lovely clean sand and shallow water. Perfect family holiday . Thank you very much for our stay, and expect us next summer again 😀

- BEATRIZ (4/5): Trato del staff horrible, para nada un hotel 5* - Habitacion amplia y con vistas preciosas de la playa. Piscina de un tamaño decente y cerca de la playa. Eso es todo lo bueno que podemos decir del sitio. Trato del staff horrible, el buffet estaba bueno pero el primer dia casi ni cenamos porque les dio por ponerse a recoger casi media hora antes de la hora prevista de fin. Nos sentimos agobiados en todo momento para cenar como patos. A pesar de pagar ampliamente por la habitacion. Las tumbonas balinesas y otras de color rojo no estan incluidas en el precio. Tienes que irte a otras que estan incluidad en la habitacion donde practicamente no hay ni espacio. En el desayuno si te descuidas te retiran el plato mientras comes. El staff no habla casi nada de ingles y la estacion que hace comida a la plancha fue incapaz de hacerle una tortilla simple a mi mujer embarazada. A la salida, dijimos que no usamos nada del minibar y nos dijeron que mandaban a alguien a corroborar si era verdad lo que deciamos (nos dijeron eso a nuestra cara). Para flipar, para nada una experiencia 5*, el staff no vale ni para una pension. Tampoco hay nada en el resort, en el de al lado tenian musica en directo etc. En el nuestro solo karaoke 1 vez a la semana!!! No coincidio con nuestra visita. Hay opciones mejores y mas baratas cerca. Nada recomendable!!

The cleaning crew could be more attentive to details, for example wash the cups that have been used and make sure there is a vanity kit in the bathroom. Overall, a great experience!

Own area on beach which was kept very clean and had free sunloungers and umbrellas available for Hotel Guests. In the hotel the cleanliness was at its best and food was very fresh, lots choice, service was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area was lovely, lots sunloungers and fresh towels with outside showers that were both hot and cold. Seperate changing and shower room near pool for use on departure day after checkout.

- David (6/5): Hotel is run down - The hotel is very run down. Staff was nice but this hotel is a 2 star on every level. Pool was not heated so nobody would swim. The halls have no ac so boiling. Sunny beach is a fun place but it is a dump. The food is gross except for the fish restaurant that is not part of the deal. That place is great. Buffett is sub par. Anyone who says the food is good is nuts.

The amenities are good and the room was spacious and with an envious view of the sea and the hotel pool. The view was even more lovely at night. The food on offer was mouth watering and the spread was more than one can ever imagine. A truly great stay.
- otto (8/5): Hübsches Hotel mit zT. Wenig motiviertem Personal - Die Anlage besteht aus 2 Hotels mit eigenem Strandabschnitt. Wobei sich die Hotels stark unterscheiden. Das Essen und das Restaurant ist bei HP Spitze! Viele All In Touristen die ihren Unrat am Strand und Kippen am Strand „Vergessen“. Leider wird der Strand nur unreichend gereinigt. Das Royal Palace Hotel ist eigentlich ein Tolles Hotel, nur muss man die billig Touristen mit Alkoholkonsum und lärmenden Strandbuden an der angrenzenden Promenade ausblenden können.

- Verified traveler (6/5): hotel with a potential - Impressive, good looking hotel. It is pretty far from all attractions though, historical sites, city center. The beach is just a few steps away. If you do not spend all your time on the beach you would rather rent a car. Spa services are overpriced, there are more affordable services in the hotels nearby. The food is pretty good, however fresh seafood was not available on the menu during my stay. Overall I believe a good value, however, I stayed there when the summer season has not started yet, so may be a different impression in the summer.

Nice pool and amaizing garden, with lots of different types of trees and flowers in interesting arangements. Clean everywhere at the pool and garden, but to much Chlorine in the water at the pool and bathroom. Great gym room, very well equiped. Restaurant with great food and drinks offer. Personel very friendly.
- Siobhan (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. When we arrived we were upgraded to a VIP villa with 3 bedrooms a kitchen and a living area with a private pool and a hot tub!
- Brian (10/5): - The only negative comment(s) about the hotel is that:- (1) The parking was not Free as advertised in your description. I had to pay 35 Lev for the 3 days I was there (this equates to around £13). (2) Insufficient amount of Tea (1 bag only) and Coffee (2 sachets only) and in addition there were no milk or creamers in the room facilities.
- soma (10/5): Wonder stay at helena sands, sunny beach - Hidden gem. Small but perfect hotel. Staff could not do enough for the guests. Maria and staff at dining room very helpful. Reception staff were excellent too. Very very clean hotel, rooms and common areas.exceptional spa service. Nice but a tad pricey boutique shops. Food tasty and wide choice. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
- Jekaterina (4/5): - Dåligt hotel för 5 tjärnar . Rummet var inte fräsh med massor myggor. Luftkonditionering var super gammat på rummet och lät oerhört mycket. Fick bära mina väskor själv. Meddelade hotellet i förväg att jag önskar "late check out" men fick flytta till annat rum ändå. Maten var ok men inte så mycket att välja på, dessutom betalar man extra för drycken och varje vatten kostar ca 25 kr.

The hotel amenities, architecture and grounds are picture perfect and the location is excellent. The food is the best quality of any half board.

The Hotel Manager Cvetan was always available to help guests and all the staff were so friendly and efficient. A very beautiful hotel land I will be back again next year.
- R&R Retired (10/5): One of the best anywhere - Outstanding service and attention by the staff. I would hire the hotel manager to run any corporation. The resort is beautiful is all aspects, both in architect and design. This is definitely one of the best resorts on the Black Sea. We have travelled the world, and would return. Our visit was in May before the crowds.
