Not many plugs so it would have been better if more plugs. Wifi is good. The bed was comfortable. Gym: Gym was spacious and good facility. Spa: I had a terrible experience with the spa staff. The sauna was supposed to be on but it was not on and was told it's gonna take 10 min. but after 40 min wait, the steam sauna was not hot at all, so wasted the time waiting around. The staff didn't apology and asked me to call in advance next time (the sauna should be on without the guest needing to check by phone) and they were not professional. so mixed review.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels like a beautiful old world hotel in Victorian times. The corniche is a 30 minute walk and there are lots of affordable restaurants in the area.

- Jason (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well furnished. The staff are super friendly. The gym is quiet and well equipped. A good pool area. There are nice food options and plenty of alternatives in the vicinity. It is downtown and so a short walk or taxi ride to many of the sights. I took advantage of the Yas Express that stops outside the hotel each morning (at 10.25). This is perfect for Warner Brothers, Sea World and Ferrari World. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone who wishes to stay in Abu Dhabi Downtown.

- Bryan (10/5): - Be wowed and stay here. The ornateness of well, everything including the lifts stirs senses. The smell of Rose when you walk in the foyer is mesmerising. As staff match the surroundings with their service, their smile and their helpfulness. You probably won't want to leave the hotel but if you do the handiness to a whole lot of restaurants is wonderful.

The rooms boasted ample space and featured exceptionally comfortable beds, ensuring a restful stay. Additionally, the breakfast offerings provided a satisfying array of options, while the café presented a commendable menu, including enticing brunch and snack selections. Dislikes: Regrettably, my experience was marred by the demeanor of the front desk/reception staff, notably the male attendant on the afternoon of February 25th. Upon our arrival, fatigued from an overnight flight, I simply requested a glass of water. Rather than extending a gesture of hospitality, I was directed to purchase a bottled water from the onsite café, a gesture I found disconcerting for a reputed 5-star establishment, especially considering that complimentary water is typically provided in guest rooms. Later that day, as we prepared for our excursions, I observed other guests being offered refreshing rose water drinks upon check-in. This discrepancy in treatment left me perplexed and somewhat dismayed, as I questioned why such a disparity in guest experience existed, and why we were not afforded the same courtesy. Comparative Experience: Having frequented numerous Hilton properties in the past, each of which consistently met and even exceeded my expectations, this particular establishment unfortunately fell short of the esteemed standards I have come to

Really nice of them to send a pastry and fruit platter, to me, after. Valets need training in treatment of hotel guests who might assume they work for the hotel (I don’t think they do). It was a very good place for the price. Rooms are huge!

I do not think I would stay at the royal rose again. However, if you are looking for a a place that has quick access to the city and not worried about all the little things. Then is a good place to stay. Overall it was not that bad, I have seen a lot worse, overall I would say 2.5 out of 5.
- tristan (10/5): Highly recommend. - This place exceeded my expectations. It's located downtown.. not exactly at the corniche but within a walk to the abu dhabi mall and taxis are easy and cheap to go anywwhere anyway. It's very well maintained and quite luxurious. Staff are extra helpfull and seem genuinely friendly. The only thing I didn't like so much was the breakfast but the rest was really great.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Spacious room, nice ambience - We loved the roomy space (Grand room: 42 sqm), beautiful deco and courteous service. The room and bathroom were clean and in good condition. Abu Dhabi mall can be reached on foot (15-20 min walk), and availability of taxis is good to get anywhere else. It would have been even better if: - Able to warm the room just a little (we’re from an equatorial climate). - 2 power sockets next to the bed (currently 1 at bedside, 1 under room desk). - Room lighting could have been a little brighter. But all in all, we enjoyed the stay in Royal Rose and would gladly stay there again. Thanks!

- Emma (10/5): Sumptuous Hotel with Bling! - For those who love decorative effects and detail then you will enjoy this hotel, as I did. There are lots of gilding, mouldings and paintings. Minimalists will probably not agree with the look, however I found it to be luxurious, comfortable and fantastic value for money. I received a five-star hotel experience for three-star cost. I was also delighted to benefit from an unexpected kind room upgrade when I arrived. The hotel is well located in the city centre. There is are the additional benefits of the pool, jacuzzi and special executive floor bar. The staff were also all very friendly and nice. I look forward to visiting again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Abu Dhabi is a beautiful place and you can travel around by taxi anywhere and a reasonable price. If I was to complain about anything, it would only be the very limited English Channel on TV.

The room was lovely, however whilst a deluxe room there was only one hand towel, only one shower gel, no drinks (soft or alcoholic) in the mini fridge, no dressing gowns, we had to ask for the hair dryer and bed sheets were ripped (only noticed this on last day)
