The room was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of towels, bottled water, coffee, and dishes. I greatly appreciated the communications I received via text before, during, and after our stay. This would be a great place to stay as a group or party for an event!

brenda (10/5): Serene place IN COMFORT, TX - Minisplit AIR CONDITIONER was exceptionally quiet! Silent actually!! So different from a normal hOtel room AC. NOone stomping abt above ur heads or down the hall. No HALL!! LOVELY QUIET PLACE outdoors on the creek.

Donna (8/5): - The property is fun and also peaceful with lots of amenities. It’s easy to access and close to town. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very responsive. One tip if you’re renting one of the RV’s; get the unit number so you know which one you rented. It was a not exactly intuitive and I couldn’t find it in my reservation or on the text info provided for check in. Each RV has a name and I couldn’t recall which was which. My bad for forgetting which unit was pictured on the site when I booked! The staff was very responsive when messaged. The RV came with dishes and utensils for cooking, had a nice hot (but small) shower, and a comfortable bed. I’d probably rent a cottage next time. RV living wasn’t my favorite thing but it was cool to try it out.

Joann (10/5): - Very quiet, rustic old ranch feel. The facility was clean, staff response to any needs was immediate. The use of the pool at their sister property just a 2 minute drive away made it very enjoyable.
Sarah (8/5): - We stayed at this property several years ago and again last weekend. It has changed ownership. The camp is really cute, and the cabins are great! It's close to shopping, parks, and several good wineries. My only issue was that the grounds aren't being maintained as well as they once were. Most of the property is DG and there are weeds popping up and even taking over in some areas. They have staff on site, so it should be an easy fix, but that's something to stay on top of, particularly since this space is also used as an event venue.

There is a slight issue with the toilet flushing foot paddle but lady on the phone was helpful in telling us what to do. It was extremely hot when we arrived. Melinda (9/5): We needed a quiet inviting and calm environment away from the City & we are so glad we chose this. We pretty much s - The location was perfect for us away from rhe busy street and surrounded by trees. Our airstream’s location it was close enough to the firepit and the games they had and we were far enough from neighbors that the stay made it more pleasant specially waking up with birds and enjoying the fire and watching the stars. It was just the vacation we needed. Our airstream had a screen door and the middle had no cover so the flies would come inside specially while we were eating. This is an easy fix.
Thelma (10/5): Perfect Peaceful Place - Absolutely perfect! We wanted a family peaceful getaway and we were beyond impressed. The deluxe cabin was so cute with the ladder to the second floor for the kids. The view was beautiful as well. We had a fire pit right outside. Just a few blocks away is the cutest vintage shopping area, must see the 8th Street Market, especially around the holidays.

Ana (8/5): - This was a lovely getaway for the weekend. We stayed at Camp Comforts’ 3 bedroom house that came with an additional detached 2 bunker tiny house and an Airstream with twin beds. Very nice setup with upgraded appliances and super nice inside all around. We did have an issue with wasps inside the airstream but then again we understood that we were out in the hill country and these things can happen. Camp Comfort facilitators were very helpful and informative from beginning to end and we will definitely be booking again.

Debi (6/5): - We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, with other family members renting the adjacent rental house with pool, Bambi trailer and another small bunkhouse. Our room was clean and attractive and the bed very comfortable but so much about the unit was Insta cute without being especially useful, particularly the built in bedside tables and the micro-table between two chairs that could barely accommodate 2 coffee cups. The property - the creek is lovely, I knew in summer it would not be flowing but the bald cypresses are gorgeous. The hillside is very steep so not really good for older people. Likewise the bathtub. The hotel fronts onto a gravel covered courtyard that was brutally hot. The other property used by our party had a nice kitchen but outside decking that is old, splintery with rotted out supports. The "pool" was interesting, about 4' x 8' but quite deep, small kids will need close supervision and older adults will need assistance getting out of it. The larger round pool is at a different property altogether that is a few minutes drive away.

Appreciated the friendliness and positive attitude of - Location on Cypress Creek Convenience to breakfast restaurants Style and decor of room Quiet -Recd email from Booking.com requesting email address. Since they had our e-address (bc that’s how we got the message), we thought that was spam/scam and we sent data directly to CampComfort instead. -No city street sign on road; missed turn. -Booked a “cabin”; expected stand-alone unit. We arrived, looked for our “cabin” named “Riverview”, couldn’t find it. (Bc we were expecting a stand-alone viewing a river.) Called desk; were told to go through gate and it would be first one on the left. It turned out to be a unit connected to several others and was the first one on the right. (Should have been named “ParkingLotView Room”.) -Didn’t know door code so called desk again. Were asked, “didn’t you get email?”; no, we didn’t. Tried code several times, called desk, asked housekeeper, finally got in. Loved the look, style, and cleanliness of the Room except for thick dark dust on ceiling fan and that the bathroom door wouldn’t/couldn’t close completely. Sign at gate says “Bed and Breakfast”. We didn’t expect breakfast and had seen nothing else mentioning it. Sign is misleading.
Shannon (4/5): Pool is disgusting - so dont book for that. - The main reason I booked this stay was because they had a pool. I even called before booking to confirm that there was a pool. They show one in pictures and it is on the listing, but it is confusing because the pool isnt at this property. It is at their sister property down the street. We drove over there after check in and were so dissapointed to find that the pool was bright green and so cloudy that you couldnt see into it. I asked and was told it was safe to swim in but there is no way that water could be considered safe. It looked disgusting and had a foul smell. The lounge chairs also needed a cleaning. Didnt look at all like the pictures. When we gor back to our room later that night, we realized the room wasnt cooling. We had the ac down to 64 and still couldnt get the room to cool off. Combined with hard matresses, it was about the worst night sleep. Ialso found a long black hair on my pillow case which is not what you want to see when going to sleep. Just incredibly dissapointed with this stay and frustrated that even after providing feedback we werent offered any sort of discount. I should have been told about the pools condition when i called before booking.
Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - This was a great place to stay. Very friendly and communicative host. The rooms are excellent with all the amenities you could imagine. We stayed in 2 of their cabins and loved them. If we are back in comfort working, we will certainly be staying here again.

Ate lunch one day in Fredricksburg. The empty cross at Kerrville was nice to visit too. Can’t wait for water though. It’s a DRY creek as of 7/13/24 Coffee pot in 9 doesn’t work

Dekker (10/5): Convenience and Coziness in Comfort! - So easy to check in, just off the i10 made it really convenient, place was super neat and cute with loads of cool decor. Very peaceful spot. Jet-Bubble Tub was amazing! Worth going out of your way to visit Comfort (cute town!) and to stay at this sweet place. We even saw deer grazing outside this morning. Nothing - it was perfect!
Kassi (8/5): - We rented the airstream for 2 days, but when we got there the a/c was not on. The staff put us in a cabin with a view, it was quiet and cozy. I think we were the only ones there for 2 days. The river was dry, no water but the hammock was nice and having the ice machine on premises was very handy. Would love to come back and the restaurants in town were very good.

Autumn (10/5): This was our 2nd stay here and loved both times. The rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. - So quiet and loved the layout of all the cabins. There are plenty of fire pits with chairs around to relax outside. Nothing!!!
Monica (4/5): - This is a “bed and NO breakfast” even though I’m sure it was advertised as a B&B. The swimming pool is not on site. You must drive to a separate hotel. (Not advertised as such, and most inconvenient). Furthermore, the automatic door locks malfunctioned leaving us outdoors for some time as the mosquitoes feasted on us. Then the ice machine failed. Luckily the caretaker bought some ice to save the day. On a positive note, the room was nice and clean. The AC worked flawlessly. We decided to just go home after one night of our 2 night stay. We figured we shouldn’t push our luck any further.

Cristina (2/5): - We arrived at 915pm and looked for the Spartan room, as noted in the receipt. Walking around the area, we saw only numbers for each room. No names. We asked another guest if they knew. We went to the small airstream, not seeing the words SPARTAN. We looked at our first reservation, and noticed we were in the other mobile home , not a word about Spartan. We went inside and the air conditioning was blowing hot air. We went back to Bambi (Bambi was on the gate but not Spartan) number 10. I told my wife we are staying in this one tonight and requesting a refund.

What a great peaceful place to land... walked and biked to everything and Comfort it’s just an adorable small town .. as Bianca says.. it’s southern hospitality. The camp is more rustic so I opted for a cushier place to stay at the Meyer.. tons of old Texas charm!

Juan Manuel (6/5): Cute little house with a dangerous ladder - The room was very clean and newly renovated. I do have to say however that the description of our room was misleading. It says that the room has 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. What the description fails to mention is that the twin beds are in an attic with a very low ceiling (you can't stand up straight) and to go up to the attic you need to climb a wooden ladder which I found was quite dangerous. I wouldn't feel safe having a child younger than 13 o 14 using that ladder or anyone over 40-45.

Calvin (10/5): Amazing place!! - My husband and I loved this place.. excellent service. Very polite. Gorgeous scenery and we even shared a campfire with a group of other people staying there as well. We had a nice conversation and got to know one another. This place is a must if you’re traveling in that direction.
