- Jaskaran (10/5): - We loved our stay here. The staff were absolutely amazing, especially those at reception. They were always well mannered, polite, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. The breakfast menu was great, I ordered something different everyday and the food was fantastic. The villa itself was well maintained, clean, peaceful. We loved the private pool. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. The room service was excellent, the food again was delicious, especially the spring rolls! We were able to walk to the main part of Seminyak which took around 15 minutes or get a taxi, both were convenient options. We were both sad to say bye to the staff when we were leaving to return home to the U.K.! We would definitely stay there again when we return to Bali.

Location is great just across the Main Street is Seminyak square. Clean, room cleaned everyday, luggage taken to room. Massages are amazing also!

We lived in Bali in different places, but this is the best villa! Own pool in the villa, private territory. The room is quiet, cleaning every day, and towels are changed every day. I advise everyone!

The waitresses at the restaurant was very kind and the food is fire. So delicious. The villa is very clean because the housekeeping staff does a great job. Lokationen var ligeledes dårlig, masser af larm om natten. I skal ikke lade jer narre af billederne, de er redigeret og taget fra vinkler, hvor man ikke kan se slitage.
- lozbloz (6/5): Nice Villa but not the best location - Was disappointed in the location as it more of a local area so there wasn't anything around us except a few indo marts but the villa did make up for this as we were Villa 10 away from the main lobby. The outside tv didn't work majority of the time so this could be an upgrade that they look into. The restaurant didn't have any aircon and was extremely hot. Complimentary breakfast that was included in our stay didn't have many options and didn't always include what it mentioned in the menu. Staff were lovely but to attentive at times. I felt quite uncomfortable majority of the stay as we never felt alone, you could always hear staff talking & walking outside the door. If you are looking to book in Seminyak book over the other side of Sunset Road.
- Stay29325777104 (6/5): Love the place but I lost my ring. - The place and staff who attended us are truly great. I will still recommend it with caution. What happened was I washed our stuff immediately when we arrived and put my ring on the tray where souvenirs where placed. Totally forgot the next day about my ring but still in my mind, I know where I put it. So I was confident that it was just there. We informed the staff that we don’t need cleaning in our room and we just need new towels.. that night after La Brisa, I immediately looked for it..can’t find it. The next day, we need cleaning in our room and I personally asked help from housekeeper to check and help me find my ring. Until we went home ,feb 82024 ,my ring( diamond and 14k which value $900) though for other it is not much it has a value to me coz I gave it to my mother and she just passed away last Jan this year, and started wearing it with her other jewelries. If that ring was not taken out from the room, I will find it. My concern with this villa which I found out that there are 4-5 persons cleaning the 1 villa alone.. It disturbs me coz we always travel but this is the only place I lost something. I truly feel sad coz I reported it multiple times , no manager ever talk to us about it. Im posting this is to be more cautious.. it just a mistake of mine that I forgot that ring to put in the safe.
- Sarah (10/5): Very happy with our stay - We really enjoyed our stay at Samaja Villas. The room was very large and kept clean. There was an on-site restaurant and a spa. The prices are very reasonable for the restaurant and the spa services are average for a hotel with a wide range of treatments available. I would recommend the smoothie bowl for breakfast. The restaurant also has a cocktail special (3 for the price of 2) during the afternoons which was nice to take advantage of on our last night in our villa. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us each time we came through the lobby. They remembered each of our names and kept an eye on the children playing with the resident fish and turtle while we finished breakfast each morning. The location was okay. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Seminyak which you had to cross a busy road to get to. But on the way there are restaurants, spas, and other services. If you travel away from Seminyak, there are local warungs, laundries, rice fields, and nice coffee places. A GoJek is easy to organise and it costs about $5AUD to get from the villa into Seminyak. Overall I would recommend this place. It was a little bit more than I would usually spend but the service and amenities available made for a wonderful experience.
- LisaEstella (8/5): Nice villa stay - A couple aged 50, stayed here four nights and it was our first Bali trip. Our villa, 10 is right at the back so it was the most quiet. What I liked: privacy, great service, room service, restaurant at the front, massages included, close enough to busy shops without being too close. Supermarkets close for purchase of water etc. What I didn’t like, the kitten or cats living in the roof, meowing and scratching. The thud sounds during the night that initially sounded like someone smashing against the glass doors, but once we realised it was the cats, we could go back to sleep. Reception people were kind and didn’t seem to know about it. Nothing done whilst we were there. Reported on night 2. We ended up spending a lot of time in ubud so this probably wasn’t the best location for half our stay. It was clean and reasonably well maintained. Also, didn’t like when they did a big spray for mosquitoes whilst we were in the pool and weren’t told at any time what it was and when it would happen. We had to run inside as to not breathe it in.

The villa was very clean along with the pool! We had breakfast included every day with our stay and it was great! We couldn’t recommend staying here enough!
- 443lieslm (10/5): Awesome rest and relaxation with great food - Beautiful villas in Seminyak Bali. Privacy, comfort and great food. Villas are well kept, clean and comfortable, beds are comfy and you get a good nights rest. Prices are very reasonable, the spa is convenient and great. The staff are friendly and nothing is to hard or difficult for them. The restaurant is A+ grade, the food is awesome and the prices are amazing. Lots of people from the area come for breakfast, lunch and dinner there. 10/10 for the kitchen staff! My husband got Bali belly and we had to get the dr. out, the staff was very helpful and jumped into action very quickly. The dr. Was fantastic, pitched up with everything that was needed and he was ‘fixed’ in 24 hours. We were also able to walk into Legian, Seminyak town and Kuta. Was a nice walk with lots to see. THANK YOU Samaja, we had a fantastic time.
- jackctrip (4/5): Dirty towels, slow internet.. - My experience was a bit disappointed as I thought it'd be a great stay. I have stayed on 2 villas during my short trip and I planned Samaja at the second one, thinking it would end my trip nicely. First night when I checked in, there was mosquitos around in the room, it's good that they provide an insect repellent with a nice scent, otherwise the whole room will be very smelly. Told them about it and the following days was all good, except there's one night out of sudden a huge cockroach walking freely on the floor, thanks to the insect repellent it was dead after a few minutes. The overall cleanliness was OK EXCEPT that they are too stingy to change towels which have dirty stain, for my 3 days stay, all the towels are dirty with stains, some yellowish, some purple, or red. I don't feel comfortable using that at all, even for the floor mat. Bedroom is quite dark, can barely see anything with all the lights on. Probably the light bulk are too old and no maintenance. The management is also quite thoughtful as they know you're on vacation, thinking we probably need some internet detox, so the room internet is VERY SLOW and unstable. If you want faster internet, can consider using the one in their reception. The day when I was checking out, I specifically told the restaurant manager to have my breakfast ready at 8.15am, so that I've enough time to eat and do some final packing. I also gave them more than enough preparing time eaely in the morning but in the end the breakfast wasn't ready until 8.30am, I've rush to finish my breakfast and change my plan because of this. Already have many things in mind to make sure my departure went smooth but this and the overall experience, just made my stay with Samaja an unpleasant one. Wouldn't recommend.

- cgs1234567 (10/5): A Memorable Stay - Very welcoming attentive staff, spacious and well laid out pool villa. Pool was very clean and inviting with partial shade at any time of the day. Restaurant menu not extensive but was very enjoyable. Our booking was made before Covid at which time a free, twice daily shuttle was available to Seminyak area, which was no longer offered when we were finally able to travel to Bali two years later. I wouldn't recommend the floating breakfast as it was late and no longer hot when it arrived. Overall I would highly recommend Samaja Villas Kunti and would definitely return if the opportunity arose.

- diahaps (2/5): Dissapointed, very bad experience :( - When we first got in there were puddles in the living room area, so we had to call the guy to mop it. There were also YELLOW AND BROWN STAINS EVERYWHERE on the bed sheet, pillows, and towels (REALLY NASTY!!!!). The floor was oily the whole time, I'm not sure if they really cleaned it because there were black spot on the floor and the next day when we were asking them to clean our room it was still there. And the worst thing was the security. on our 2nd day, We were back at the hotel at night around 11pm, and our room weren't locked! The housekeeper forgot to locked our room as the keys were still hanging. OMG. The bathroom seems aged, the shower temperature also took forever to warm up, and there were stains in the bathup as well, and the bowel area smells like sewer sometimes. very uncomfortable.On our last day when we checked out we were charged for the stain in the towel, which we're sure wasn't caused by us!!! CRAZY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.
- ChelsKing (2/5): Still waiting on my refund almost a year later and completely ignored - Unfortunately in 2020 I had to cancel my trip to Samaja Villas due to Covid, whilst I understand this was both unfortunate and unavoidable, almost 12 months later (booked Aug 2019, Cancelled Feb 2020) I am still waiting for a refund on my deposit - a deposit that I was not even meant to pay. I had booked through Expedia using a no pre-payment/deposit option, yet Samaja emphatically insisted that I pay the deposit as apparently although Expedia have their own T&C's (no pre-payment), Samaja demand a deposit. After numerous requests from the hotel, and many an arguerment that I believe this to be false advertising etc. I reluctantly paid against my better judgement. Now after numerous attempted emails directly to the hotel and via Expedia along with phone calls, I seem to be ignored and am still waiting for my refund of a deposit I was never meant to pay in the beginning. Whilst I understand everyone is struggling with Covid, this has been extremely disappointing response.

Yet 6 months later and with the hotel still taking bookings and receiving guests I am being ignored on all correspondence about said refund. Has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

- Moretea (8/5): Nice quiet villa but needs some TLC - We stayed here for a few nights to take in more of Bali on our trip. The villas are private and quiet with small private pools. Our pool was quite cold but that made it refreshing after a hot day out and about. The living space is outside with only the bedroom and bathroom inside which is nice apart from the occasional mosquito! Room was comfy and the bathroom nice and clean. However the property is starting to show it's age. This didn't affect our stay though. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We hired a driver for a day for RP800k (plus 10% off) which was a great way to see things and recommended. The driver was from the accommodation which made things super easy. The breakfast was great and if anything, too much so we opted for parts of it most mornings. Didn't eat there in the evenings so can't talk about that element. All in all recommended as a different view point to the big beach front hotels.
- Mladz (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE My partner and I booked a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool which looked beautiful in the photos. The villa we were given was not the villa in the photos. The villa had a tall wall blocking the sun morning and afternoon so no sun reached the villa at all. We realised on day 3 and complained. We got offered in the afternoon to move to the villa which was advertised on Expedia however had 1 hour to move as we were taking someone else's booking scheduled to come in that night. We were very upset as this villa should have been given to us from day 1 as that's what was advertised. We booked other accommodation as we weren't happy and checked out the next day. When checking out, the staff were more concerned about us paying our drinks bill of $65aud than our overall customer experience. I have since complained to Expedia and samaja villas were refusing to give us a refund for the nights not stayed until the drinks bill is paid. This is very poor customer service. The air con is not reached in the bathroom so it is extremely hot in there. The cocktails made by the bar barely has any alcohol. They are taking advantage of their customers and it is not worth staying here.

- Sam (10/5): Wonderful little oasis in Seminyak - A great find just outside the main streets of Seminyak. The villas are wonderfully appointed with your own private pool and outdoor area. Great size bed and the villa has good sized TVs both in the bedroom and outdoor patio area. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay. It's about about a 10-15min walk from the property to the Main Street of Seminyak, which means that you don't hear any noisy road traffic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

- Xuan (6/5): Cosy villa - Requested for anniversary decoration and was nicely decorated and complimentary cake and fruits as well. Also appreciated for the foc 1 way transfer. Small and cosy villa for two though wish that pool was bigger. Everything are provided in the villa such as spa salt, mosquito spray, aromatherapy oil etc. The pictures provided online are exactly how it look like for the villa. 7-11, massage and buying of sim card is just near the villa. The noise around the area was abit loud with cars driving around everywhere as it is sort of on the road but it wasn't to bad I still loved staying there

- Alex (8/5): Gorgeous villa, very comfortable and great staff - We stayed at Samaja Villas for 1 week and we had a great time. The staff were very friendly and always so helpful. Our room was exactly as the photos, very comfortable and clean. The only downfall is that it is not in the centre of Seminyak, so it is about a 10-15 minute walk or a 3 minute can ride which is fine. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends!
- tellin (10/5): More than helpful staff - From the outset the staff at Samaja were brilliant. They organised a fridge full of the drinks, a motor scooter before getting to the villa. Everything ready to go.. When I left my phone back at the villa heading to the airport, they were more than helpful in getting it back to me without any hesitation. The staff were always smiling and more than happy to help.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great place to stay - Stay: 20th - 23rd Aug 2015 After securing & paying for the room, i received an email from Samaja Villa welcoming me to this place in advance. The villa is so nice, clean, quiet and surrounded by green trees. Perfect for honeymoon. The breakfast served is nice and fresh. The staff are very attentive towards our needs. The pool is good and clean. So worth staying here.
- Daniel (8/5): Very nice quiet relaxing villa - Great staff very friendly. Clean villa. Location not the best, roads around are not good, no footpath, holes in side of road, not that the hotel can control this but I think that's why the price may be a bit cheaper than villas of similar quality elsewhere. Would stay again though. Just wouldn't be suitable for elderly or young children if walking, you would need to catch a taxi for all trips, which hotel can arrange for you, very quick to get a bluebird taxi. Spa was very nice, good massage. Room service was okay, not amazing but not bad. Not very big meals but not very big price so it's okay. Our room unfortunately did not get much sun which was a shame. We asked for a sunny villa before we came but the one we got was not very sunny. Pool was not heated and without much sun there were not many opportunities to swim or sunbake. If pool was heated I would have given 5 stars. Overall good value and nice villa. Would reccomend.
- Brad (8/5): "Amazing stay and friendly staff" - The stay here was a good one, great rooms with pools and the staff are very friendly and ready to help you. I found however you have to ask a few times for an outcome to be reached. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a great stay in Seminyak. it's central, with only a short bike or taxi ride into the main stretch of all the shopping and dining.

- Ryan (8/5): - Stayed 3 nights. Our flight was delayed and arrived at 4am. Staff were there waiting for us and they quickly got paperwork sorted as they knew we would want to get a couple of hours sleep before tackling Seminyak. Staff and room were fantastic. Perfect spot to stay for a couple as villa is very private.

- Ske (10/5): Awesome villa to stay with a significant other - stayed at Samaja Villa with my girlfriend, could not ask for a better place to stay over the Christmas holiday. The staff were so nice and helpful, the complimentary breakfast that got sent to the room every morning was solid, private pool was fantastic. Also thank you Expedia for helping us find such a good deal on this place!!
- Roy (10/5): Perfect Villa near everywhere in Seminyak - Only one word to describe our stay, Perfect. I would like to compliment all the staffs there as the customer service was the best i experienced throughout my stays in different hotels. We were greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks for the hot weather upon arrival and every reservation we needed was settled by the front desk counter. They will even tell you the best deals around and even book a cab for you to wherever you want. The villa was also very clean and the staffs makes sure that mosquitoes precautions are prepared for you as well. The swimming pool was a bit small to swim but i think the purpose is just to soak right? If you wanna swim, go to the beach :) Breakfast was also served into your room and there is a wide variety to choose from. I strongly recommend this villa to everyone as this was one of the best stays i had.
- tyler (6/5): Great villa but a little bit out of the way... - Staff are amazing, pool villas are just what you need but it's not in a great spot of seminyak as you need a cab or transport to move around the area (crossing the big highway is not good idea) overall for the right price the hotel is a great way to see bali and staff member Bennie was more then accomadating!

Had all the little extras, like toothbrush and paste, bath salts, lovely soaps, hairdryer, mosquito repellant and power adapter. Only down side was there was little outside space except pool and undercover seating area. But stay was lovely and staff lovelier!

- Kelvin (10/5): A nice quiet place to recharge. - Our first visit to Bali and we have been pleasantly surprised. Nice place to getaway to with a lot of eateries nearby and loads of shops. Sunset watching on the beach is a MUST. Local are friendly and shop owners are not pushy. We will definitely be going back to Bali in the near future.

- Verified traveler (8/5): New and Modern hotel, the stuff really thoughtful - I was staying in Samaja Villas (one pool villa) last week with my husband for my pre-honeymoon. Due to the reason, they were preparing the honeymoon decoration and cake for us made us surprise. Besides that, i have to special thank for the staff, they are really friendly and thoughtful. One of the night, we are going out 3am for visited Lovina, they gave us morning call and preparing the breakfast box for us. The security is good, security guard are staying outside of our gate... The Wifi is really speedy...

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Place to Stay. - We stayed 1 week at the end of September 2014. The place was lovely, Helpful staff greeted us with a smile on our late arrival. The Villas all seem to be the same format lay out, medium size pool with open lounge mini bar, TV, cough and sunbed, just like the photo's, no hidden surprises. Lovely king size bed and tv with dvd player, robes big bath and shower. Great food. One of the best we have stayed in in the seminyak area.
- Lisa & Kevin (10/5): Good Hotel, definitely stay there again, - Location was good, the villa had a car shuttle & would deliver you to the beach or Seminyak square, The staff went out of there way to ensure you had a comfortable stay, yummy food served in the dining area or delivered promptly to your room, very convenient. There spa treatments were divine & charged reasonably. Loved the privacy of the rooms & the private pool, this allowed us to have a very relaxing holiday, or we could do all the touristy things as well, Samaja Villas definitely gave us the best of both worlds. - Chip (10/5): Lovely stay - Beautiful room. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but less than a 5 mins taxi ride approx 10000 rp/$1. Spotless room, lovely breakfast, good food. Very private.
