- Beth (9/5): Lovely peaceful stay just expensive when it comes to food and drink. - Lovely property with fantastic views. Short walk into Zante town and to the sea. Tsville is a 10-15 min taxi drive also. Not a lot at/around the hotel to do but this made the hotel quiet and peaceful Pool is very very cold could definitely do with a heater in there. Food and beer is extremely expensive €18 for a gyros €8 for a side of chips and €6 for a small (330ml) can of beer. On top of this you aren’t allowed to bring any outside foot or drink to the pool area or bar area. The shop just outside the hotel was selling the same beers for €1.20

- Thomas (4/5): - Lage super gelegen, herrlicher Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt, ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze am Hotel vorhanden, kostenlose Flasche Sekt zum Empfang auf dem Zimmer Abendessen in Buffetform hatte wenig von griechischen Essen, Katzen sprangen beim essen zwischen den Tischen umher. Zum Frühstück waren Säfte und Kaffee ungeniessbar. Frühstück gab es keine Abwechslung. Zimmer sehr laut, nicht nur das die Gespräche vom Nachbarn sondern auch wasserhahn und Lüftung vom Nachbarzimmer gehört. Roomservice klopft schon 08:30 an die Tür, keine Möglichkeit bitte nicht stören an die Tür zu hängen. In der 1. Etage hört man die Rezeption im Zimmer. Betten waren durchgelegen, Reinigung der alten Zimmer sehr mangelhaft

Loved sitting out on balcony and having meals on terrace looking at the Sea. No fault of Avalon but trip advisor still has information on a shuttle to town from hotel. Didn’t order dinner as we were planning on shuttle to town in evening. Manager was very helpful and adjusted our accommodation to include this. Front desk helpful with calling transportation as needed. Property very clean and staff very attentive, and helpful. No shuttle or bus service from hotel. Steep walk down hill to town with traffic and inconsistent sidewalk.

Бяхме една седмица и имаше през цялото време свободни стай на етаж 3 и 4. Не разбирам с какво сме различни от Китайците и Германиците в хотела, настанени на по високите етажи.

- Katsiki So (6/5): Δε θα είναι αυτό που περιμένεις - Στα καλά θα αναφέρω το κρασί καλωσορίσματος το δωράκι στο checkout και τη θέα. Το κρεβάτι ήταν άνετο επίσης Το ξενοδοχείο χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση σε σχέση με την τιμή που ζητά. Αν η διαμονή κόστιζε γύρω στα 50€ τη βραδιά, η εμπειρία θα ήταν πιο αποδεκτή. Ειδικά το μπάνιο δείχνει ξεκάθαρα την ανάγκη για ανανέωση, ενώ η καθαριότητα κινήθηκε σε μέτρια έως χαμηλά επίπεδα. Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν ανταποκρίνεται σε προσδοκίες τετράστερου καταλύματος. Θα ήταν καλή κίνηση να αντικατασταθούν τα μικρά μπουκαλάκια σαμπουάν και αφρόλουτρου με πρακτικούς διανεμητές (dispensers), καθώς και τα σαπούνια με ένα ποιοτικό κρεμοσάπουνο. Επιπλέον, μια μηχανή εσπρέσο στο δωμάτιο και καφές φίλτρου στο πρωινό θα αναβάθμιζαν αισθητά την εμπειρία. Το σίδερο που μας δόθηκε ήταν σε κακή κατάσταση, με μαυρισμένη πλάκα και κουμπιά γεμάτα άλατα. Το δωμάτιο 404, παρόλο που είναι ευρύχωρο, είναι εργονομικά προβληματικό. Για παράδειγμα, τα φώτα του μπάνιου βρίσκονται πίσω από την πόρτα, κάτι που το κάνει άβολο στη χρήση. Η πόρτα του ψυγείου ανοίγει από μη πρακτική πλευρά, δυσκολεύοντας την πρόσβαση. Υπάρχει επίσης κενός χώρος που θα μπορούσε να αξιοποιηθεί με μια πολυθρόνα. Επιπλέον δεν παρέχεται Netflix ή κάποια συνδρομητική τηλεόραση. Τέλος, τα μαξιλάρια, παρότι υπήρχαν αρκετά, ήταν πολύ ψηλά και άβολα, ειδικά για γυναικείο αυχένα. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και φάνηκε να προσπαθεί να εξυπηρετήσει, ωστόσο ορισμένοι νεότεροι υπάλληλοι έδειχναν άπειροι και όχι πλήρως οργανωμένοι.

- Thomas (10/5): Super - Überaus freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Direkt am Anreisetag halfen Sie uns eine Fährverbindung nach Kefalonia für den Folgetag zu finden. Da die Fähre an dem Tag für Fahrzeuge ausgebucht war, war eine spontane Buchung für eine weitere Nacht völlig unproblematisch. Wir danken dem Team and the brain (Chefin) für diese Gastfreundschaft.

- Patryk Kotowski (7/5): Hotel bez rewelacji - Piękny widok na miasteczko Zakintos. Fajny, przestronny apartament z prywatnym basenem. Pomocni i mili pracownicy. Regularne sprzątanie i wymiana ręczników. Bardzo wygodne łóżka. Jedzenie! Monotonne. Największym błędem było wykupienie kolacji. Jedzenie szpitalne, praktycznie codziennie powtarzające się z minimalna modyfikacja. Jedliśmy, żeby po prostu dotrwać do śniadania, bez jakiekolwiek przyjemności. Przez tydzień 3 rodzaje tych samych ciast. Bardzo skromny bufet warzywny. Na jednej kolacji przytrafiły się greckie potrawy typu gyros. Lepiej wykupić same śniadania i zaoszczędzony pieniążki przeznaczyć w centrum miasta na dobrą kolacje. Co do śniadań: dość duży wybór ale również codziennie to samo. Te same ciasta. Ale do przeżycia. Brakowało żelazka i deski do prasowania, które miały być zapewnione. Lokalizacja może być dla kogoś na + lub -. Najlepiej wynająć na cały pobyt auto. Do miasteczka jest 2 km. Hotel moim zdaniem nie zasługuje na 4 gwiazdki. Gdyby nie apartament z prywatnym basenem, byłyby to najgorsze greckie wakacje dotychczas.
- Jens (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt mit traumhafter Aussicht - Ein großartiger Aufenthalt im Avalon Palace Hotel – 10 von 10 Punkten! Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des gesamten Teams, allen voran Katerina an der Rezeption. Die Lage und der Ausblick auf Zakynthos-Stadt sind einfach traumhaft, und auch Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Frühstück lassen keine Wünsche offen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – schade nur, dass das Hotel nun in die Winterpause geht. Ich freue mich schon auf ein Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr! 😉

- SIWEI (6/5): - 扎金索斯雷暴航班取消，被迫多留一晚，之前住的那家满了，晚上只好临时订的这家，看了一下是四星级，价格不低，评分较高，结果房间非常拥挤，三人间基本连行李箱都打不开，设施也比较陈旧，吹风机也不好用，第二天早上退房时前台的男性接待还要收我25欧，说我在餐厅消费了，我说没有消费，他才作罢。唯一好的就是当晚的女性前台人员很热情，还帮我们预定第二天送机的出租车。不太推荐这家（推荐亚特兰蒂斯酒店，同样价格，比这家好多了）。 房间太小了，三人间只能打开一个人的行李，完全没有地方，设施也比较陈旧，免费赠送的瓶装水不在房间里，要自己跑到1楼的bar里面去问服务员要，很不方便。吹风机是固定在墙上那种老式的，吹一下就会自动断电保护，要停很久。总之不太推荐。

- Daniel (7/5): Nice stay on a nice island 5 nights here would have been enough though rather than 7. - Nice hotel rooms with a nice view of Zakynthos Town and the port from the room balcony and the hotel pool, staff very helpful and friendly, food was ok and rooms were comfy. Pool area was ok with a nice view and plenty sun loungers. It was a bit of a walk into town around 20-25 mins and all uphill on the way back and it would be convenient if the hotel offered a shuttle service to and from town? However taxis are reasonably priced so not a major issue. Not much around the hotel area but there is a shop and cafe within 5 minutes walk.
