Guest Reviews
- forsee (4/5): - walking distance to the town center, commissary, thearter, food court room temperature was warm regardless thermostat was set to 66-68 degree
- Kayla (7/5): -
- Renteria (10/5): - Nice!
- Jones (8/5): -
- Manuela (4/5): Miserable place in a miserable location - Right on base, close to most things you’d need. The staff, besides the maids, is rude, unhelpful and don’t do their job right.
- GARY (3/5): Bad - Horrible breakfast. Bed sagged in the middle and easy to soft. Breakfast and the bed
- Lorilyn (7/5): We were very happy with our stay, but stay in the hotel that much as we were they to visit our son & his family. - They property was very clean & staff was very friendly !! The blankets on the bed were to small.
- Guest (9/5): Decent Stay - I liked the location it was located on the base I booked a non-smoking room w/queen bed (no pet), but received a non-smoking room w/queen bed (Pet friendly) room and was informed that it would be an additional charge to move rooms. Not a major issue, but the room did have a pet smell. No worries
- manea (1/5): فندق لغرض النوم فقط ولا يستحق المبلغ المدفوع - فندق سيء جداً .
- laetitia (1/5): Attention hotel inaccessible !
- Nestor (10/5): - Located right inside Fort Irwin The bathroom door is stuck to the floor and takes a lot to move
- Gricelda (2/5): - We have always stayed at that hotel before; however, this time was very different. The curtain couldn’t close entirely, so we kept seeing the bright streetlight shining through all night. Additionally, the bathroom door didn’t close at all. but the staff is very friendly.
- Giron (10/5): The staff was amazing , she helped me change my room because I didn't get a pet free room and that smell was horribl - The staff and the cleanness... please if you don't have a pet please be sure to ask pet free room
- Dayna (10/5): - Our kids and Grandkids live at Fort Irwin, Landmark was close to them, easy to access, clean and very affordable.
- William (10/5): -
- Carol (10/5): - Very comfortable beds very clean room. Staff is very helpful and nice.
- Amanda (10/5): - I would highly recommend staying here. The staff were so nice so attentive the rooms everything was so good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I understand the handicap shower needs a ramp to have a wheel chair go into the shower easier but it’s horrible how the water spills out of the shower area and all over the bathroom floor, around the toilet and almost out into the room on the carpet. It would be much more ideal if there was a drain near the toilet to help with all the water since you can’t built a ledge to hold the water in because the puddle around the bathroom floor is dangerous and my child and I slipped multiple times and he even slipped and fell one time.
I love the continental breakfast provided every morning and appreciate the variety and options to choose from but the hot food was never hot let alone not warm either. Not sure if the warmer was off but it was cold every time but I dealt with it and just got use to microwaving it. Just thought I’d point that out.
Besides that the bed was very comfy. Slept really well l, love the pillows and the front desk and staff were very polite and helpful every time. Thank you

- Simon (1/5): Bad - WARNING
This hotel is only accessible for US citizens. !!!
A warning would have been appreciated and would have save us 1h drive !!!
- Robert (10/5): - Very clean hotel. Front desk attendant was polite and knowledgeable. I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s always excellent.
- Camden (4/5): Not good - The staff was nice This hotel is so incredibly dated, the wallpaper is coming off in the bathroom, the floors look like you shouldn’t touch them with your bare feet and the bed is incredibly uncomfortable.
The breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Everyday it’s the same stuff, not one thing new. All of it highly processed food, and most days a lot of things were out and not restocked. So many people have to stay at this hotel during PCS season, please put some money into it and make it bearable.
- Darby (10/5): - Simple and the customer service was excellent
- Oralia (2/5): - I requested a regular room and was given a handy cap room. This place need to do some renovations and needs to have pest control come in. I found a roach crawling in the bathroom. When getting ready for a shower found pubic hairs in the shower, curtain was too short and water spilled out everywhere and walls are moldy. Then when getting ready for bed stepped on a goat head. This hotel is on a military base. Our military and their families deserve a good balance breakfast than the food that is provided. Biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereal, muffins and fruit. Where is the protein? This place really needs better management and attention. We came to help our some move. Glad we won’t be staying here again.
- Joseph (10/5): - Clean, inexpensive hotel for night before the range.
- Efrain (10/5): - Comfortable and clean
- Tanya (6/5): - Walls are paper-thin. I booked a 2-night stay, and my sleep was interrupted both nights with sounds from rooms next door.
- Danny (10/5): - Easy
- Cheryl (10/5): - I like that it is close to my son’s home so we can visit and have a safe clean place to stay.
- Carla (8/5): - Fantastic Stay!
Everything about this hotel was excellent! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. A perfect place to relax—I would definitely stay here again!

- Passalacqua (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (10/5): - I love that it is close to my Son house so very nice to be able to stay and visit him and his family
- Yvette (2/5): - It’s located on the base! no mention of it listed anywhere on site or advertisement!!! Got there only to find it was located on the base and of course permission is needed.

- Ana (10/5): Ñerfect - This property is inside a military base. I love it becase is the only hotel near. Is very clean the room are spacious have a 2 bbq grill and basic breakfast for free N/a
- Andy (10/5): - Excellent hotel clean
- Robert (8/5): - Pros - Very clean. Nice staff.
Cons - No pool. Breakfast limited.
- Karen (10/5): - Very clean and great staff
- Tammy (10/5): - On base, convenient
- Bamba (10/5): Overall good quality - Location Updating may be needed soon.
- Frans (6/5): - Breakfast staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast okay but best part of the hotel! Room obviously not vacuumed when we arrived. Had to ask for room cleaning and new towels. Good bed, linen and pillows, good towels, old bathroom with very old faucet, but separate filtered water dispenser. Elevator door kept on closing when I tried to keep it open: not up to code!! Very noisy AC unit, fortunately window opens for cool air at night. This property obviously lacks competition. IHG hotels on other Bases are much better.
- Nichole (6/5): There are no other options - There are no other choices when staying on base at Ft. Irwin. It's overpriced for what it is
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esequiel (6/5): Great stay only stayed one night the price was ridiculous - Military price was horrible The price
- Gagan (5/5): Passable -
- Miguel (10/5): - Everything
- Miguel (10/5): - It was nice clean ,friendly but didn’t like shower
- Brian (2/5): - Distance to hotel was described as a relatively short drive. After inquiring our gps, it showed a trip of over 40 miles.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (10/5): - Very nice clean and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit.
- Heather (10/5): I was here visiting my son. Loved having this option which is affordable and walking distance to everything. - Location for visiting my son; Clean; Food options for breakfast N/A
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Joelle (5/5): Passable - location, clean and staff breakfast the eggs are frozen, milk too warm for cereal
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (10/5): - Shirin was great. Very nice and polite.
- Joschua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (8/5): - I was glad I could stay on post.
- Roneline (10/5): - Very pleasant and accessible to the base. It’s our 2 stay here.
- Anil (8/5): - Great place to stay on base
- Jeffrey (2/5): Not good at all - Dirty. Bed was hard. Ac was noisy
- Jessica (8/5): - Staff is great
- Lois (6/5): - The bathtub was so slick that I fell getting into the shower. Needs to have safety treads in it. Bathroom floor was also extremely slick! I reported this to the front desk but I assume all rooms are about the same so they didn't seem overly concerned.
No ice on the 3rd floor. Machine was "OFF".
Cookies and lemonade out on Thursday night but never replenished after that.
- Priscilla (10/5): - I was unhappy of how clean the bathroom was. Our toilet seat was dirty with stains from human waste. I had to clean myself with Disinfectant spray and wipes. Front desk was notified.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place - Very nice staff. Very clean room. Only disappointment was no hot breakfast with so few options for food on the fort.
- Susan (10/5): - The Landmark Inn is a comfortable hotel with good sized rooms. Well priced and located right on base. Would definitely recommend you stay here when visiting Fort Irwin.
- Dolci (9/5): It was an excellent hotel with very pleasant staff. - The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and with no issues. The breakfasts were okay but nothing special; the orange juice had a strange taste; needed a greater selection of food. The room needed more than one chair...the room was a double queen so an additional chair was necessary so that 2 people had a chair to sit in.
- Roneline (10/5): - Quite and safe!
- Bamba (9/5): overall a nice stay - location on base elevator broken on side of building I stayed in
- Valyn (10/5): Nice place to stay - Nice property and helpful staff. The north elevator is broken which made getting to our room a long walk
- Elisa (6/5): - We did not actually end up staying here. Unfortunately, when booking this location on, it is not noted that this property is on a military base. We were on a trip for a youth group and chose this place due to its proximity to a hot springs we were visiting. Upon arriving we were told we are not allowed to enter because we were not affiliated with the base. This ruined our trip completely. We did receive a refund eventually, HOWEVER, I believe this hotel should not be listed on if not everyone is "eligible" to stay there OR it should be stated specifically that this location is only available to military personnel so that nobody else makes this mistake.
- Johnny (6/5): Pleasant -
- Iata (8/5): - The beds felt like you’d slip off on the sides.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saud (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mikhail (4/5): Disappointing -
- Michael (4/5): Disappointed stay. - The condition of the room was poor. Didn't appear to be very clean. I changed rooms but because I was tired I just settled on the second room. It had an odor and just was not a pleasant feel when walking into the room. If there were other hotels in the area I would have definitely stay elsewhere.
- Roberto (5/5): Adequate - Staff not friendly
- Tammy (6/5): - Old! Cobblestone entrance…can’t move cart or luggage. Some beds are comfortable, some not. Very outdated, but only place to stay. It’s very clean, okay breakfast
- Valerie (2/5): - Don't make a reservation here through Expedia unless you are US military personnel. We made a reservation through Expedia, drove 70 miles out of our way. A sentry stopped us and refused us entrance apologetically. The hotel is on a military base and only military personnel are allowed in. SERIOUSLY! Unbelievable.
- Mme (5/5): Passable - The staff on duty upon arrival was extremely pleasant. The pet fee was excessive for one night stay. Also, our toilet clogged and the staff member on duty told us to just use the restrooms in the lobby, because she didn't know where to locate a plunger. So twice my 8 year old and I had leave our room to utilize the facilities in the lobby. It was an unfortunate experience and there was no discount or any or any other solution offered to accommodate for the inconvenience.
- Ronald (4/5): Disappointing -
- Vicky (7/5): Good -
- Therese (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamara (7/5): Good -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarai (10/5): - Staff was really friendly and professional. Room was spacious nice views.
- Brayfam (9/5): Superb -
