• Verified traveler (8/5): - 직원분들이 친절하시고, 서비스가 좋았습니다. 아쉽다면, 방이 조금 어두워서 불편했습니다. 그리고, 첫날 화장실에 바퀴벌레 시체가 있었는데....손님받기전에 체크했었더라면 좋았을뻔했습니다.

• Richard (8/5): Begot Beget Becak - Hotel Staff were friendly and helpfull, pool has nice feel about it and used by both families and singles visiting the area, breakfast was good mix of european and local variety. Room size very good, two beds, and a good seating area plus table and chairs out side room overlooking balcony. Worth a visit if you like to be in amongst it all and feel a bit of the character of the place. I had great fun in a local Becak travelling all over town. Could not see all the sights due to high number of people celebrating, and presendential visit. I went to water palace and paid for a guide and learnt a fare amount about the place. If want cheap deals on clothes etc go to the market not the fancy shops. Overall good experience but you have to accept early morning prayers may wake you up. WIfi can be a bit sporadic so if you are online all the time quality varies

• Verena (10/5): - Wir genossen das sehr grosse Zimmer mit den praktischen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zudem war es gemütlich auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und in den Innenhof/Pool/Palmen zu blicken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Einziger kleiner Mangel, schlechter Wasserabfluss in Dusche und Lavabo.

• Guan Yu (8/5): Great hotel at a good price - Stay was very comfortable and hotel was located in a tourist friendly area that was easy to get around. Plenty of good food around the area too! Only grip I have was how the shampoo and soap were out from day 1 of my stay and was never refilled. I did bring a bottle of my own so it wasn’t too bad...

• Verified traveler (6/5): Mixed feelings - Eclipse doesn’t really look as advertised. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant but rooms are old and not being given much attention. To be honest i was expecting something much nicer from the pictures... Not a horrible experience but I’m sure there’s better options in the area. Busy neighborhood for foreigners with plenty of restaurants etc
• JP (10/5): Incredible Location and Value for Money - Outstanding ambiance and location for this boutique hotel. It's a modest size which is perfect because we prefer smaller/medium sized hotels. Excellent staff - very attentive and courteous. Close to the silver village of Kota Gede and other artisan areas that are famous in Jogja. Located on a road that is popular with Western tourists - so there's plenty of conveniences close by like bars, money exchanges, taxis, travel agents and even a supermarket. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates a "bang for buck" experience.
• Stephan (2/5): taking the customer as a fool - I stayed there 3 weeks ago and found out that the management deliberately makes false statements regarding free WIFI. There is NO WIFI in the rooms as it is indicated in the description of the rooms there is only WIFI at the reception. The worst is that the management takes their customers for fools. They tried to tell me that WIFI is just currently not available - but there has never been an installation on the floors. Should the description of the availability of WIFI still be wrong during your stay, you can claim $ 5 per night as I have done successfully.

• Verified traveler (10/5): とても快適でした - トランジットで利用しました。 静かで過ごしやすかったです。冷たいウエルカムドリンクをいただいてチェックイン。部屋に入るとエアコンで涼しくしてありデスクには可愛い花が飾ってありました。2階でしたが窓側の壁が全面ガラスで開放感があり、そこからプールやプールサイドに植えてある椰子の葉がすぐ近くにありリゾート気分を味わえました。 バルコニーもゆったり広くてアジアンテイストの家具でくつろげます。シャワーは天井からお湯が出るものと手に持つものが両方ついていて使いやすかったです。 この界隈はヨーロッパからの観光客が多いため近所にはバーやカフェがたくさんあります。また機会があれば利用したいです。

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great experience overall - Enjoyed my stay at this hotel - the staff are attentive, friendly and ready to help at any point. Location is great, it's on a quiet street, filled with lots of eating places and easy access to transportation. Malioboro St is approx 10 mins away by becak. Wifi is okay (depending on the time you log on) and they have quite a few access points so at any given time, you will have connection.

• benceltor (8/5): Nice hotel in a nice area - Nice hotel. Very quiet. Good facilities. Swimming pool is nice to have. Well located in a street where you can find all the restaurants and bars but the hotel is very quiet.
• David (6/5): Good auality, good value - Eclipse is not a Western standards hotel, so I'm star rating it relative to the local standards. The room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. The air conditioning worked well if left on at all times, critical for those used to much cooler climes. The neighborhood is a bit touristy, but that means several choices for tour operators,mrestaurants and antique shops. Turn to the right exiting the hotel, walk the length of that bloack and croos the busy street there. The nxt block has several good antique shops with batik, masks, carvings and so on, and several good restaurants serving French and Italian, as well as good local cuisine. Pedicabs abound. Hire a bicycle tour, and you are 15 minutes by bicycoe from the countryside, with lovely backroad tours of villages, ruce fields and local life. The eclipse hotel staff could not be more friendly and helpful. They helped us with international calls, local transportation, a private car to Borobudur and many other things. The hotel restaurant is even quite good, with perfectly good local dishes at affordable prices. A meal for two consisting of three delicious dishes, three beers and a coke was about $15.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel was pretty nice. Decent area with lots of restaurants and tour operators. Breakfast in the morning was great with plenty of options. However, the WiFi is essentially non-existent so don't plan on using your phone or computer.
• つかわん (8/5): まずまず快適です - 暑い中ホテルまでやってきたので、最初に頂いたウェルカムドリンクは嬉しかったです。 ホテルのスタッフはみな良い方ばかりでした。 １階はエアコンが効いていて涼しかったですが、２階から上はクーラーが効いておらず、少々暑かったです。室内のエアコンは問題ありません。 エレベーターがないので、これは改善してほしい点です。来たときは部屋まで荷物を持って行ってくれますが、帰るときに、重い荷物を持って降りるのはかなりしんどいです。 部屋の中は他のホテルとあまり変わらず、値段なりの、まずまずよい内容でした。ただ、少し薄暗かったかなと思いますが。大きな不満はありません。 朝食はおいしかったです。パパイヤもあり、良かったです。

Personalet var rigtig søde og hjælpsomme - vi havde lidt problemer med vores reservation (vores rejsebureau havde tosset i det), men det blev klaret uden problemer. Alle kan godt engelsk og morgenbuffeten er fin :) Wifi halter lidt på værelset, men på fællesarealerne går det nemt.

The hotel is on a street with lots of restaurants and tour agents and not far from Malioboro (for tons of souvenir shopping). Overall very good experience.

• Sunny (8/5): Nice hotel and location. - Hotel Staff was very helpful. We had few issues with the room and they would change it whenever asked.Food is reasonably priced and tasty. People think Malioboro is happening so the hotel should be nearby, so my friend did. But after 2 days his opinion changed as this street on which the hotel is located, is happening as well as peaceful with some really good restaurants like Vai Vai.

• ひさゆき (8/5): ジョグジャカルタのホテル - 　初めてのインドネシア旅行でしたが、兎に角「たかり」の国でした。しかし、エクスペディアで予約したホテルでの対応には満足しました。 「たかり」のひどいのはタクシーとべチャでした。タクシーはメーターどおりの料金を支払いしようとすると「NO,NO、チップをよこせ」と脅迫してくるのだった。べチャとタクシーを利用したときは疲れて気が滅入ってしまった。

• Robert (10/5): Great Pool and Wonderful Breakfast Buffet - This hotel is clean, bright, odor free, bug free, friendly, and quiet. The pool is clean and clear; it is suitable for lap swimming. The Internet access is excellent. During my stay, the whole neighborhood experienced a power failure but the hotel had full power, including air conditioning. They generate their own power. The breakfast buffet is truly excellent; the selections do vary a bit from day to day. The downsides are small. The rooms use conventional keys. If you lock the door from the inside, you must use the key on the inside lock. The Internet requires going to a login page to sign in (ie. not just based on SSID). Many hotels do this, and the constant need to logon is annoying. Having said this, the wifi signal is particularly strong (you can access from neighboring restaurants) and the bandwidth is excellent. There are plenty of nice restaurants on this street. For vegetarians, it is about a fifteen minute walk to Milas, a truly fine vegetarian restaurant. I stayed for about ten days. I have no hesitation in recommending the eclipse.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Luxe hotel voor goede prijs - Mooi hotel met ruime kamers en prettig zwembad. Ontbijt is uitstekend en uitgebreid en daarnaast vriendelijk personeel. De locatie is een straat met veel restaurants en cafes. Alles was prima, behalve dat misschien de kamers wat schoner hadden gekund.
• Edmond (10/5): Hôtel moderne, très confortable et bien placé - Très grandes chambres confortables (avec clim), l'hôtel est au coeur du quartier animé de Yogya où vous trouverez services touristiques, restaurants, bars etc. Moderne, bon accueil et rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. L'un de nos hôtels préférés en Indonésie. J'y retournerais les yeux fermés lors d'un prochain séjour à Yogya.
• The Beijingers (8/5): Angenehmes Hotel in Yogya - Nettes Hotel in der Prawirotaman Gegend, südlich des Kraton, viele Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe des Hotels. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat einen guten Mittelklassestandard und ist sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und die Betten haben sehr komfortable Matratzen. Allerdings gibt es hauptsächlich Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten (Superior). Die Zimmer mit Doppelbett sind teurer (Deluxe) obwohl die Ausstattung ansonsten die Gleiche ist. Offenbar gibt es auch nur wenige Zimmer mit Doppelbett. Die meisten Zimmer liegen auf der Garten/Pool oder Hofseite und daher recht ruhig, die Zimmer zur Straße hin sind ziemlich laut und Zimmer 209 liegt neben der (relativ lauten) Wasserpumpe und hat zudem eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Wir hatten aufgrund des Lärms und dem Zigarettenrauch aus dem Nachbarzimmer und der Wasserpumpe um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten und bekamen nach Rücksprache mit dem Manager ein Upgrade für einen Executive Zimmer, was sehr angenehm war. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und es gibt frisches Obst und ein wechselndes Angebot an warmen indonesischen Gerichten, sowie das internationale Standardfrühstück. Man sitzt angenehm im Schatten am Pool und das Personal ist gerne bereit, auf Wunsch auch Pfannkuchen etc. zuzubereiten. Für ein indonesisches Hotel der Mittelklasse ist das Hotel gut und sehr zu empfehlen.
• PF (10/5): hôtel génial - Des lits merveilleusement confortable, un petit déjeuné de qualité et du personnel souriant et serviable. Seul bémol étant l'emplacement de l'hôtel légèrement excentré du centre.
• Verified traveler (8/5): great location, can recommend, good value - Eclipse hotel is situated in a very nice spot in Jogja and it is close to some nice local and international restaurants. The area in general is nice and within walking distance to Kraton and Malioboro St. Hotel staff was most helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was good, good quality and plenty of choice. The room was spacious, had the all what we could need. You can hear the prayers but that did not disturb us. The pool was nice! This hotel was very good value for money!
