- N4118HYwilliamh (6/5): Surestay by BW Cambridge Ohio - Room missing a TV remote when we. Checked in at 11:30 pm, at 7:00 am no ketchup for eggs, no syrup, and juice machine was not operational and no milk in the mini fridge. No coffee in one of the decanters. A dirty chaffing dish that was empty maybe from the day before. The ice machines on our floor 2 and on floor 1 were not working. Room was clean, except for crumbs on office chair and under bed. Bed was supper comfortable and eggs and sausage were very good. Receptionist(s) were very helpful. Stayed 5-19-26 to morning 5-20-26.
- suebP158RE (8/5): Very nice stay - Overall a good hotel with a great location. Check in was pleasant and speedy. King room was clean, nice, comfortable. As another reviewer pointed out, the shower pan needs replacement or painting. Breakfast was a bit scarce when I arrived at 8:20. Breakfast served til 9:00. Cracker Barrel across the parking lot made for a convenient take out dinner.

- norak596 (6/5): Average Experience - It’s an ok hotel but does accommodates pets. A couple of things as to why it’s just a so-so hotel: 1. Got into our room, turned the light on and realized the room had not been cleaned. The staff was accommodating in moving our room, but that was a bit unsettling. 2. The breakfast was almost completely empty: coffee, eggs, gravy, pretty much everything. Again, the staff took care of everything but still….we had to wait. And waiting for coffee?!? Yikes! I would not recommend this hotel, unless you have no other choice.
- rickleed (8/5): Great stay other than the shower - With one exception, I really liked this hotel. Conveniently located just off the interstate. Parking was free and plenty of it. The lady at check-in was wonderful. Friendly, made suggestions for dinner, we had booked on-line and when we found out the elevator was not working, she offered to change our rooms so my mom would not have to walk upstairs. She was a gem! The room itself was spacious and comfortable. It includes a mini refrigerator. The wifi was fine. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. My only issue was the bathroom. The shower was very unappealing. It seemed like maybe they had redone the entire room and started to work on the shower and then just left it. I don't think it was dirty. More like it had been stripped and then not refinished. Felt like showering in an unfinished basement. Breakfast the next morning included some of the best biscuits and gravy. Check-out was just a friendly as check-in. Other than the shower, we thought this place was great!
- Thomas P (8/5): - The only complaint if you want to call it one was the doors. They were so hard to open. Getting into the room door was not as bad because you pushed it open. But when leaving the room it was like there was someone holding it closed on the other side. Just too much effort and hard to get things out the door because it wanted to shut.

- DannyK1123 (10/5): Great Experience - Great experience. My wife is handicapped and our room was not handicapped accessible. The staff went out of their way to move us to a handicapped accessible room and were very friendly doing it. The staff were all very polite, friendly, and helpful. The rate was very reasonable. The included breakfast was very good. The only downside was the indoor pool was not available, maybe maintenance, not sure but not faulting for that. Thanks again for making our stay enjoyable.

Hotel is close to a number of restaurants and fast food places. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold items. Breakfast and dining area was well maintained and the employee was tentative to items that needed replenished.

- Venture18155175567 (8/5): Clean and Quiet - The man at check in was nice and efficient. The price was great. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The pillows on our king size bed were soft and shorter than an average pillow. The shower pressure was great and had shower doors which prevented water from getting on floor. However, you have to be in the shower to turn water on. The door swung like a regular door rather than slide like with a tub/shower. It could be a problem if you need to turn water on for a child. The breakfast was just ok. The sausage was thick and a little burnt. I did not see anyone working the breakfast while we were eating.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Visit - The hotel's front doors weren't working they were just left open. The elevator was very slow to open and close. The room was okay, the light fixtures were dirty, the bathtub wouldn't drain during showering. The hotel was quiet and staff were nice and helpful.

- Wanderer25142875753 (8/5): Great value hotel! - This is a good choice for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. One of the lights was missing a light bulb, but I reported it to the front desk and I'm sure it will be corrected. All the employees were very friendly and helpful and gave me a great restaurant recommendation....Theo's, which is a short drive from the hotel. The price was very reasonable and I would stay again, if in the area.

Bright blue accent walls in the bedroom and bathroom gave the room a happy feeling. Well equipped exercise room, swimming pool (indoor). Staff was pleasant and helpful.

There was a cardboard wedge placed under the door to the adjoining room. This was inadequate. The bar lock should have been replaced.

They should replenish so all guests can have the free breakfast but it’s just a gimmick to get people to stay there. Go as soon as breakfast is put out or you will miss out. This happened each day of my stay. And when you ask the staff to replenish the breakfast they say they are busy and never bother coming over to rectify the situation even when there are hours left of the breakfast hours. Unacceptable and should be higher standards overall for a best western

- Ute (6/5): - The hotel was in an industrial area, it was loud with trucks running all night. The walk-in shower was dirty with scum all around the tub. Toilette was dirty too. All doors need a good cleaning. There was oil running down the room door from oiling the door closing mechanism. The room ac was new and quiet and the bed was fine. We would not stay there again.
- 428garyp (6/5): Average Best Western - This is an average Best Western with basic rooms, showers only in basic rooms and a regular breakfast for Best Westerns. The room that we had on the back side of the hotel was quiet. I didn’t understand why there was trash sitting outside the doors of many rooms ant any time of day unless it was expected from a number of long stay workers. The attendants that we met were pleasant.
- Darren (6/5): - NO HOT WATER! That was frustrating! The mattress had seen better days! And the pillows were the tiniest, pathetic pillows I've ever experienced at a hotel! The upside, was the lobby was actually decorated from this century. And the customer service was great! But I'd rather have HOT water, and an amazing bed over those things, if I had to choose!

Breakfast area kept clean; minimal choices, but sufficient, although the bananas could have been fresher (Had those small nats flying around them). The room was nice, comfortable bed and pillows. Seemed clean, but looking closer I found the toilet inner rim was dirty. I found a tiny earring behind the sink faucet camouflaged with the countertop (also indicating to me the cleaning was not thorough). The room smelled clean, AC was working well. I would go again since the thouroghness of cleaning could just be 1 persons mistake, not necessarily the hotels.

By end of shower i was ankle deep in water. The white shower curtain was very soiled. Breakfast was marginal. Powdered eggs and brown n serve sausage links. Cereal. Waffles. No fresh fruit. No hard boiled eggs or oatmeal. The orange juice dispenser broken. On Sunday morning, ran out of coffee creamer and milk. We skipped it 3rd day and went out for breakfast.

- Jeffrey (2/5): Smelled like dogs in my room - At first, I didn't notice it, but after I checked in at 9:00 PM, I went to get something to eat and when I got back to the hotel, I sat in the chair to watch TV to wind down before I went to sleep. That's when I noticed that the chair smelled like a dog had been in it. Not feces, just the distinct smell of dog. It was late by then (after 10) and since I was going to leave early anyway, I didn't notify the front desk to see about exchanging the room for one that didn't smell like a kennel. I thought that if I could just cover the chair, it would mask the smell long enough that I could soldier through, thinking the smell would be confined to the chair and I would sleep on the part of the bed farthest away from it. So, I covered the chair with towels and went to bed. The smell was on the floor over there too and kept me up until I decided to leave at 2:30 AM and continue on my travels with no sleep. I blame myself as much as Best Western. I liked the location of the hotel and the service, but there is no possible way housekeeping could have cleaned that room and not noticed that smell. I should have gone directly to the front desk and demanded another room and am upset with myself that I didn't. I like dogs as much as the next person, but don't want to pay to sleep with them.

- robertpZ851MA (4/5): Basic place to sleep. - This is a basic place to sleep, and not much more. The room was clean, if a little outdated. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, with a sign that said out of order. Breakfast was also a little bland. Lower price, but you get what you pay for, I guess.
- 1Thom2H (10/5): Friendly and Quiet Stop - Staff were all friendly and clearly happy in their workplace. Hotel was fresh, very clean, and comfortable. Definitely a place to stay for a night or extended stay. Breakfast was fresh but not an extensive menu. Only thing missing was the pool being temporarily closed, hope that gets fixed soon.
- 456antin (6/5): Satisfied but expected more for the $ - This is what you would expect from a BW. There are others that are not up to speed. Lobby was nice, ice machine s were there but only one worked. There were enough outside restaurants to choose from to make a decision to say there. Hotel was understaffed. Would hope more were on duty for restaurant and lobby, but obviously they were double booked. Had to wait to checkout as lobby staff serviced kitchen.

The only negatives were that the breakfast was underwhelming and the pool was closed. Overall, the staff was helpful and the hotel was fine for an overnight stay.

- Lori (6/5): - On my checkout day, housekeeping knocked on my room door at 11 am and asked if I was checking out and my check out time was at noon. They hung out near my room door like I was supposed to hurry up and get out!! I didn’t appreciate that at all!!
- April (6/5): - The pool was not available as they stated that they had to put chemicals in it. There were some stains on the couch cushions and one of the pillows. The breakfast was bare minimum and we ending up eating breakfast somewhere else because the selection was scarce.

We slept fairly good even though the AC was rattling and revving all night long. But the breakfast was the biggest joke we've ever seen at a Best Western. They couldn't even put out yogurt and bananas. The McDonald's down the road beat them by a long shot. 😅
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay here - The hotel had my reservation but said they had no room. Double checked the one room left that said dirty in the system in case it was clean. The room was ‘clean’ so we were able to stay. Go to the room and the toilet doesn’t flush. No breakfast left with an hour to go, had to go to Dunkin Donuts. Hallways/elevator smelled of cigarette smoke.

The food offered for breakfast was very sparse. Idk if they ran out or what, but every item should be set out & refilled as necessary.

When we arrived we were told they ran out of king rooms & wanted us to take 2 queens. When we said that wouldnt work they "upgraded" us a jacuzzi room at the rundown comfort inn next door(same owner). Room was ok. There was dried urine in the jacuzzi so we decided to skip that. Our last night the cable went out. The gentleman at the front desk tried to fix it but that didnt work. There was no maintenance person or manager to handle the situation. We come to Cambridge 4 times a year. We will no longer be using the Best Western(or the Comfort Inn by default) for our stays.
- sl2126 (10/5): Best Western in Cambridge, OH - I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and have been satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. the location is convenient off the highway and is near several restaurants and other shopping. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
- DANALYN (10/5): Great value! - The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. The whole place looked newly renovated, and felt clean. It was in a safe, well lit area, close to the interstate, and plenty of restaurants and service stations nearby. The AC worked, the bed was comfy. The only thing that wasn’t great is that there was no hot food left 30 minutes after breakfast started.
