- Mikel (3/5): You get what you pay for which isn’t very much at all. - The room felt dirty, the room had a funny smell like someone had smoked a cigarette in there before we came. The shower was also leaking water through the tiles into the area where the toilet was. The shelf in the shower was really loose and the screws were not in all the way and nearly fell off when taking a shower. There was no water in the fridge and towels did not get changed when we were there. Also being charged a $200 bond which we did not know about was not good and we have still not got the refund.

- Carla (8/5): Lovely modern decor - Yarra Valley Motel was a pleasant surprise. Spacious and modern, with beautifully chic decor, especially the bathroom. The only small complaint was checking in to nobody at the front desk (they did come eventually) and no breakfast options. (BUT McDonald's is literally a 2 minute walk. ) I also prefer a firmer mattress and pillows. But a nice stay, clean, quiet. Would definitely book again.

Couch was ridiculously uncomfortable. Only 3 standard forks, 3 small plates despite booking being for 4 people. Wasn't split level. Just a 2 bedroom apartment at the top of a large flight of stairs. Being at the front of the property highway noise was quite loud.

We had a Queen Bed and Single Bed in our room, so sleeping for 3 however there was only 2 of each cutlery utensil, 2 plates, 2 bowls etc. I would strongly suggest enough for the amount of people in the room.

Everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It’s clear they didn’t cut corners—from the stylish flooring to the chic bathroom fixtures, the vibe was contemporary and very comfortable. Surprise Amenities: The amenities provided were well beyond what I expected. Usually, you get the basics, but here they went the extra mile with quality toiletries and thoughtful touches that made the stay feel much more luxurious. Comfort & Cleanliness: The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the entire space was spotless. There was nothing that we didn't like.

Supermarkets & restaurants - not just KFC & Maccas - very close. Yarra Valley 15 minutes drive. Dishwashing supplies would of been good as rooms aren't serviced daily. Also no bowls among the dishes.

Our room was clean and fresh and the Motel was close to the Yarra Valley Winery where we attended for our daughter's wedding. A big comfortable bed and we slept well, We liked everything. Would prefer metal cutlery instead of wooden, I give full marks to the first sentence. I'm writing another sentence to address your criteria.

We had to use torches on our phones all night and leave the phone plugged into PowerPoint in kitchen meaning our alarms were a fair distance from where we had to sleep. The unit had cockroaches and huntsman spiders and the only can of insect spray did not work. Definitely not worth the price we paid No power. Cockroaches and spiders no insect spray
