The bathroom light was a little iffy,the door to the bathroom was hard to close properly,and one of the chairs at breakfast was broken at the back. We didn’t realize until it was too late. The breakfast options were on point though.

I had to call the front desk to get what I needed. The girl at the front desk was very helpful and she even offered to change my room which I disregarded because I was very tired. The staff was friendly but the room wasn’t up to the standards of a Holiday Inn. I was expecting something better.

There was scotch tape attached to the archway of the room. Our AC UNIT and remote control did not work as well. The pool was nice but there were all kinds of bugs in there as if no one had cleaned it. The food was very poorly done, and a lot of the pastries had black spots as if they were molded. The only upside to this stay was the front receptionist, I didn’t get her name but she had reddish hair in a bun. She remedied all of our issues.

I appreciate the morning staff, I didn’t catch their names but they were so great! But I want to give a special thanks to Michaela and Mandy from the afternoon shift for excellent service and how kind they are make you feel so welcome. We came in late at night and they both were very considerate and went beyond to help my family so we could get good nights rest. May God bless y’all always. 😊

This is not unusual for the area, but not what I've experienced at the place I usually plan overnight stays for in Monahans. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast served was exceptional.

The beds were comfortable, but, the sleeper sofa was uncomfortable, just springs in a cover. Otherwise the room was great. Breakfast was delicious. They had a nice selection with great options for the kids like uncrustables, cheese sticks, fruit cups, juice, milk, yogurt, muffins, and more. They had eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, cereal, fruit, biscuits. Everyone was happy.

Verified traveler (4/5): - It was nearly 2 am when we checked in but a “hello” or “welcome” Would’ve been nice to hear from manager on duty. Entering our room we were immediately hit with a moldy or mildewy smell. The room was stuffy and humid so went to turn on the A/C and ofcourse, it didn’t work. Toilet was dirty with leftover fecal stains, so couldn’t even use our own RR. Decides to check out literally 20 minutes after checking in and just drive back home to Odessa. About a 35 minute drive, nbd. I’m 8 months pregnant and hubby had been drinking so we wanted to rent a room for the little one and I to rest. Exhausting night to say the least.

Some miscommunications however. We were assigned to a room that had not been cleaned (obvious). they quickly provided another room...just a little glitch. Breakfast was nice, and the area very clean. The price was just right.
