Guest Reviews
- Ronald (10/5): - Stayed here while TDY. Quiet and convenient. Commissary and PX within walking distance. A great experience. Will definitely stay there again.
- Tara (8/5): - .
- Michelle (10/5): Well done!! - I was beyond pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the lobby, the grounds outside, etc. Hope at breakfast in the morning was so super sweet!! The staff was friendly and I thought my stay was the quietest hotel visit I’ve experienced.
- Angie (10/5): - Perfect location
- Micheal (10/5): - Nice and clean good price
- Charles (10/5): - Everything was great from checkin to checkout!!
- Karen (10/5): - This property is on a Military Base so it is convenient to all things that go with the base. Our son is stationed here so it made it very easy to see and visit with him. The property is spotless and well maintained. Staff is friendly and kind.
- Ramon (8/5): - Enjoyed my stay. Very friendly staff.
- Alicia (10/5): - Clean. The beds were comfortable and blankets soft and warm. The shower pressure was good and got very hot.
- Tommy (6/5): - Bed was horrible, you can tell the mattress is old. Big humb on one side of bed where everyone sleeps. Did not sleep well at all. But for one night it was okay.
- Zacharia (10/5): - Very polite and hard work staff
- Christie (10/5): - Very convenient for visiting with family.
- Christy (10/5): - Room was clean and staff were very friendly.
- Patricia (10/5): - The staff was friendly and helpfull, they had an amazing breakfast selection! The room was clean and comfortable. Only thing it needs is a sitting couch.
- Heather (10/5): Great place to stay - Was great stay. Went down to see my son. I also got to pin him as Sergeant that weekend. Was not impressed with the breakfast. The hotel was very clean. Staff very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
- Anthony (10/5): - Property was bery appropriate. Personnel working were tip notch, better than most.
- vielka (8/5): - Safe and conveniente. I traveled with kids, playground is in bad shape, needs repairs.
- Anthony (10/5): - Very nice facilities
- dwight a (10/5): - The service was top notch. Joseph, who checked me in, was very courteous and professional. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Also, conveniently located to PX and Commissary.
- Deanna (10/5): - Great trip
- heather (10/5): - Great staff!
- Augustina (10/5): - Very nice, would recommend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible Experience - We didn’t actually make it into the landmark. It was a bit of a surprise that this hotel was on a military base and access was restricted. When we arrived, the military personnel didn’t know that the landmark existed on their base and did not allow us to enter. On the booking it wasn’t obvious that this hotel was in military base. Very deceptive. I had booked two rooms and we couldn’t access them and still got charged. We had to book another hotel that night. I need to be reimbursed for the money that I lost. Please have someone call
Me on my cell. Thank you.
- Corey (6/5): - Typical Army lodging
- Jeff (8/5): Training stay - Staff, super friendly and supportive of guest needs and aware of climate. Room was very standard and mediocre and normal for a military hotel. A deep cleaning I would recommend be done to the room. definitely things missed on the floor under the bed and around the baseboard. Lamp and wall outlet stopped working in the middle of the first night. Lightbulbs did not need to be changed. And for whatever reason the alarm clock was still functioningChecked out early from property.
- Ramon (10/5): - Great
- Colin (10/5): - 2nd time there building is a little aged but nice clean and very well maintained
- Christina (10/5): - Comfortable large rooms
- Walter (10/5): - Nice helpful staff. Great location. Military personnell stay there.
- Gina (10/5): - Very pleased! Pleasant staff and cleanliness!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Comfortable clean quiet place for a weekend stay. Staff was helpful in providing me directions for getting around the base. Great amenities.
- Walter (10/5): - I always feel safe and welcome here. Great staff and location!
- William (2/5): STAY CLEAR!!!! - Very disappointed with this hotel. Where to start, 1st room - Carpet was worn out with stains everywhere, the bathroom wallpaper was falling off the wall as well as the popcorn covering on the ceiling. The shower/tub had rust around the overflow fixture as well as the drain and mold in the corners. The kleenex dispenser in the bathroom was falling out of the vanity and full of rust. But to make matters even worse was that fact that the room and I'm sure other rooms as well had cockroaches. They moved us to the third floor and the other side of the hotel for the night. So now for room #2. Same situation with the carpet as room #1, the bathroom shower/tub not much better, no water pressure in the shower, toilet not bolted to the floor so it moved around freely, rust around fixtures holding bathroom mirror to the wall. TV reception would pause every 10 - 15 seconds for a couple of seconds which made it very annoying to watch. So in conclusion this is one hotel that we will never stay at again and one that I would recommend to stay clear of unless a very poorly maintained bug infested place is your thing. If so then you would have a gem of a place to stay.
- Aneda (8/5): - Good little breakfast. Clean sheets and bed comfy.
- Michael (4/5): - Second time room had roaches. Bed is extremely cheap and uncomfortable . Old facility and better to go to La Quinta especially if you have a small pet . Ridiculous $50 pet fee for one night with small pet . Should be refundable .
- Mark (8/5): - The hotel itself and the staff are good. The maintenance of the exterior and surrounding grounds is going down.
- LouJean (4/5): - Convenient near stores but cleaning lady that serviced our room was rude and had an attitude and coins were take after cleaning
- Mark (10/5): - The property is showing its age.
- Gregory (6/5): - This was a weird experience. When making the reservation, I did not read far enough into the description to note that the hotel is INSIDE Fort Bragg. This presented some unexpected ... and awkward ... moments, especially when I pulled up to the security gate and had to explain that I had a reservation at this hotel. They let me in with no problem, but when I attempted to return to the property later after leaving it for dinner, the guard there did not want to let me back in, stating that I should have registered my driver's license at the visitor's center, adding "they told you wrong." Fortunately, he reluctantly let me in anyway. This did not reflect well on the security procedures at the Fort. Once in the hotel, the room was perfectly nice ... no issue there. But another extremely odd thing was that the landscaping immediately adjacent to the hotel (lawns, flower beds, kids' play area in center courtyard, etc.) were completely untended and a mess. The lawns appeared not to have been mowed all season, and were completely overgrown; clearly no effort at all had been expended to keep the grounds even close to attractive. Especially odd, since all the neighboring buildings' lawns were neatly mowed and tidy. This property seems to be treated by the Fort as a nuisance, an afterthought. While the room was fine, I would not recommend this hotel ... or the experience, for anyone not expecting to go onto a military base ... to either a civilian or a member of the military.
- Fred (10/5): Long weekend - Visiting family, great location, great breakfast.. friendly staff
- Mark (10/5): - Consistently a good place to stay.
- gilbert (4/5): - The property did not have advertised work out area; Broken ice machines on hallway; Grounds needed maintenance; flags need to be replaced; poor representation of a hotel located on an established military base.
The staff was pleasant and very respectful.
- Maria (8/5): - Excellent customer service.
- Anthony (10/5): - The vent fan in the bathroom sounded like a Sherman tank. The tub had been painted and was in need of repainting
- Claudia (10/5): - Our stay was great
- Jason (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay. Convenient to walk to where I needed to go to
- Michael (10/5): - Everything was great and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs, on my next visit to Fort Bragg I will stay there again.
- Lydia (10/5): - Clean and affordable play to stay when visiting my children stationed at Fort Bragg.
- Tina (10/5): - This property is very quiet and I always felt safe.
The breakfast is well stocked.
This is the only place I want to stay at while I am visiting.
- Thomas (10/5): - The Landmark was nice for a motel in this price range. Comfy beds, clean rooms and the continental breakfast was better than most motels offing that.
- Tina (10/5): - This hotel is so clean.
No noisy children running around.
Breakfast is stocked well.
Although, tbey need to invest in new washers and dryers.
The laundry is a busy area and to only have 2 out of 4 machines working for a lot of soldiers and famies to use was a downfall.
- Juvilyn (4/5): Don’t. Book else where. - Needed to drive up with my Daughter that was stationed there. Landmark inn was on base so just booked it. Good thing it was only for the night. Dirty, run down, room smelled. Front staff not friendly.
- RUTH E (10/5): - I like it a lot
- Gene (10/5): Nice - Staff was very nice.
- Monica (10/5): - We booked this hotel not knowing that it was on a military base. The guard at the gate was very helpful in directing us how to get a pass to enter the base. The guards at the admission office was also very nice and helpful. It was a pleasant stay.
- Frank (8/5): - The Inn provides a good value for the price. A little rough around the edges, the property could use a re-hab, but the price is right. The on-base location is very convenient. Laundry service is convenient and the price is reasonable. The work-out room is a bit sad, really needs improvement. Staff was great.
- Jessica (10/5): - Convenient
- Mable (10/5): - Friendly staff and Excellent service.
- Mark (10/5): - Awesome!
- Donny (10/5): - I’ve stayed here two years in a row and it’s a great hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly and I’ll be back again next time I’m in the area!
- Tina (10/5): - The propert was very clean.
Housekeeping ladles were very nice and attentive.
The breakfast area was constantly being cleaned and there was a variety of options.
Definitely will stay here again.
- Amy L (10/5): - Very friendly staff
- Badema (10/5): - Great place to stay.Services are great place is clean comfortable ,great breakfast.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Awesome
- Mark (10/5): - Always friendly staff and the property is kept in good condition.
- Juan (2/5): - Huge complaint about the mask mandate. It is all over (signs that is) but even the staff didn't wear it or were wearing it as a chin-strap. The ONLY hotel staff wearing them were HOUSEKEEPING ONLY ONES. I cjose this hotel with the idea that it was on post so rules were going to be followed. Very disappointing.
- Ricardo M (2/5): Only for US Citizens or Military - We never made it into the hotel. Please READ the details on where this hotel is and how to get access to it. If you are not in the military you will need a permit which is obtained at the Visitors center (they close at 9pm sharp!) but what hotels.com does not tell you clearly is that everyone in your group staying in that hotel needs to be a US citizen, not just the person requesting the permit. Unfortunately, only mu husband is one, so we were denied entry and still charged for the night as it was past 4pm. We presented our complain to both the hotel and hotels.com but all we got was $50 coupon after a long online chat.
- Mark (10/5): - Convenient for the activities I was there for.
- Sara (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable
- Judy (10/5): - Property located in a quiet area which was great. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows. Walkung distance to the base exchange.Would definitely stay here again.
- Robin (10/5): Nice hotel ON Fort Bragg - be prepared for entry - Easy check-in, quiet hotel, comfortable room and beds. Front desk staff had suggestions of where to eat nearby and gave helpful info about food delivery, too. Great value.
As others have said, you’ll need to get a military ID (which I have) or obtain a visitors pass for Fort Bragg to get onto post - the hotel is just inside of the gate. If you’ll need a visitors pass, do yourself a favor and plan ahead for the kind of documents they’ll require. Military installations are strict when it comes to access.
- Mark (10/5): - Older hotel but in great condition.
- James (4/5): Front desk people annoyed they have customers - The only good thing was it is set up so you can bring your dog through the back door.
The front desk woman gave me two different key cards to a room she knew that the lock mechanism might be inop. It was about as far from the front desk as it could be…a very long walk. No luggage cart.
When I came back THE SECOND time after I was unable to get into my room she couldn’t muster an apology. Like. “ I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” Even after admitting she was aware of the possible door problem.
It was ridiculous. She says her script and that is it. ZERO customer service acumen.
- Beatrice Laura (10/5): - I felt safer being on a military base plus I was there to see my son anyway. Perfect location for my weekend visit.
- Edra (10/5): Great place to stay while visiting our soldier! - Clean convenient and comfy.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great stay but 2 walk-ins - The hotel is older but very nice, the room was clean but on the day I checked in housekeeping walked right in without knocking, I brushed it off to early check in. On my final day I had the double lock where door still opens but not fully and AGAIN someone walked in without knocking and announcing. Thankfully I was dressed but management needs to talk to staff about common hotel courtesy.
- Michael (6/5): So So place - So so accommodations. Clean but old. Would not rate as my favorite place to stay.
- Martin (2/5): - This property is in a military post, be careful with the instructions to get in. Expedia doesn’t warn of this situation, just a discrete announce in small sentence at the end of the check out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - All
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent staff, rooms were great and the breakfast was good too.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very pet friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean / great breakfast / you may need a pass since hotel is located inside a Military base, you may have to drive few miles to their welcome center, which a Nuisance.. other than that place is good !
- Brenda (8/5): Clearance Required - Hotel was decent. It is within the Fort Bragg base that requires clearance. Nothing terrible, but you should go to the American Visitors Center first before going to the hotel. You need proper identification and vehicles require their current registration and insurance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Felt very safe and staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were cery clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The saftey and friendly
- Esther (2/5): Don’t book here unless military! - Might want to warn people before they confirm booking you must have military ID since hotel is on base!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We did not realize it is LITERALLY in teh middle of Fort Bragg therefore we needed passes to enter the base. It was not something we were prepared for however it all worked out and everyone was nice and helpful. You need photo id for EVERYONE and vehicle registration to get a pass. Know your SS# too. Again, not a huge problem but we did not know it was gong to be needed. Small hurdle.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I love that it was in fort Bragg. It would be nice to know that you need a pass from the visitor center before your can enter, but it didn’t take long to get one and come back. The staff was super friendly even with a busy weekend with Spartan race coming to town keeping them very busy! I will be back and with my son so her can check out fort Bragg.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel should have explained they were inside a military base. We were never allowed to go through the military check in because my wife’s driver license expired 5 days ago, although I was driving.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - good location
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Needs to be updated
- wheeler (10/5): Would Reccomend - Working on base and location was great. Felt very safe about surroundings, plenty of parking, hotel quiet, comfortable bed, room on ground floor and short distance from great breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. We were always greeted when coming in or going out. Made sure we had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. The young man that checked us in was so nice and made sure we knew how to get to our rooms plus pointed out other things we needed to know.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay! Staff is over the top nice. Could use a little more on the breakfast bar but that’s about it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great price for a clean room. Nice playground for kids, plenty of parking, breakfast included. I've stayed here before, and will stay again. Also, my room had a brand new mattress which was nice.
- jose (10/5): Great price, location and comfort - The place is dated and limited in amenities but for the comfort and convenience plus great customer service.
I could not ask for more, reception through check out was great.
Your in a secure base and close to everything. Only thing missing is a swimming pool. Great price, location and service.
Could use repairs and a better upkeep.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It’s a bit outdated / air conditioning was extremely loud
