• dimity (7/5): View good, noise at night bad - Beautiful view from our room and location in the middle of the strip which suited us. The only real issue was a sound of a generator or air conditioner or something outside was pretty constant and made a good night’s sleep impossible. Place was clean, bed comfortable but only a double and it was pretty basic. Would not stay here again but it was mostly fine.

• Brian (6/5): Great view of Lorne beach, spacious and comfortable room, but needs a bit of modernising. - Good location for convenience, and a great view and nice balcony. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Shower was hot and a good size. Check in staff were helpful. Parking was ok, but spaces a bit tight (re doors). Toilet flush needed maintenance, wifi was poor, TV was old (not a smart TV), and hairdryer was old and not great but worked.

• John (8/5): Perfect location, good place to stay with a few "old motel" symptoms - Rose on reception was very helpful and cheery. Room was spotless, view was really great across the beach. Location is perfect - walk to everything only a few steps from the door. There was no face washer, and the provided soap was a tiny little bar of nothing. Coffee mugs had no handles, only a rubber cover which made them hard to hold. Pillows were pretty old and hard as a rock.

• Nicole and Brendan (8/5): Lovely spot for a long weekend! - Brilliant location, love the beach just across the road! View of the beach from our front balcony was just magic. Parked the car and didn’t need it again for 2 days! Everything in easy walking distance. It’s a bit older, so things are not shiny and new. Stairs up to apartment also a bit old and need careful attention to ensure you don’t miss-step.

• Denise (8/5): We have a lovely four nights however thew weather could have been better. - This is a basic motel however very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is the best with views of the ocean and across the road from the main beach. We have stayed there several times and will continue to do so. The bathroom was tiny however does not deter us from visiting.
• Karen (7/5): Nice stay. - Location right in centre of town. Comfortable bed, used extra blanket no electric blanket on bed. Clean room. Little hill to walk up to get to rooms. Noisy people drinking all night outside on the balcony. Used earplugs. Light comes in side curtain, through the night a light outside is left on. The curtain is heavy but gapes at the end. No face washers in towels.

• Fasseli (8/5): Motel-style accommodation in a fantastic location - The location is fantastic. Meters from the beach and my favourite cafe. My balcony has sea views which is a nice bonus. The room has been refreshed reasonably recently. The common parts of the motel are dated and not that great. My bathroom was split with the sink in the main room and very little room.

Parking onsite was a plus. Location across from the beach was great. TV did not work. It seemed like there was an issue with their satellite feed. Shower fixtures were loose. Carpet was tired and worn, but definitely clean.
• Laura (7/5): - Great to have allocated parking - as the motel is located in a very busy area The cleanliness of the hotel was good - we noticed some spots in the room that perhaps the vacuum had missed but no great concern We only interacted with staff to check in, we did not opt for house keeping and did a contact-less checkout. this was all smooth sailing we will be back! the location cannot be beaten!

Baby could fall through bottom of balcony (huge gap under railing) . No king bed , only double. Looked bigger in picture (the room and the bed) . Door didn’t lock from the balcony . Someone left the gate open one night so the wind caused the gate to made this awful loud bang every 5 minutes - didn’t get any sleep that night .

The atmosphere is - The motel has an unbeatable location in front of the beach, with stunning views and easy access to the beach, cafes and restaurants but the mostly I liked was the see view from the room. Nothing, I would like to come again and again.

• Michelle (5/5): Loved Lorne, wouldn’t be hard to love motel with a little modification. - A motel that really needs some TLC. Great location, cannot fault. The facilities - the case store has a microwave on it any free bench space the TV. The room is old and dated. I think value for money was poor but this is influenced by time of year - just prior to Christmas so prices are premium. I think for some low cost modifications (tv on wall, microwave on shelf, upgraded bedding, bigger fridge) this place could score a lot better. All that said, it was an ok stay. Check in was easy and staff were polite and helpful. Superb location. As above
• Manish (9/5): Highly recommended, Excellent stay and location. I will stay again if given a chance - Location and facilities, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The beds and towels were clean The Lady we met in reception on day of arrival ( we reached around 3 PM) . She scared us to venture out and was very pessimistic about reptile and wild life that we can possibly encounter in the region. She was of no help when requested for local sightseeing.
