Guest Reviews
- Elodie (8/5): Great place, certainely nice during the peak season!! - The waterpark is great!! The rest of the facilities were closed unfortunately (end of the season).
- Ryan (9/5): -
- Urías (1/5): - Son unos ladrones me robaron el dinero el parque estaba serrado y no me delvovieron mi dinero
- Denny (10/5): -
- Keith (8/5): - Great location (Golf and Mountain Cottages), very friendly staff throughout resort, shuttle bus service, free EV chargers in walking distance (1/4 mile), deck with view, free laundry, very big room, skiing and waterpark Advertised as "one-bedroom" but it wasn't really; "bedroom" was downstairs but no door so had to turn lights off and be quiet in living room when kids going to sleep, "King bed" was really two singles next to each other and sheets kept coming off, plain with minimal decorations, check schedule for amenities cause some were closed (Clips and Reels climbing gym and movies)
- Nicole (7/5): We had one beautiful ski day, a nice dinner and the staff were kind. The bedroom needs improvement. - We liked the size of the cottage, the deck (even though it was too cold to use it) and the full kitchen. We liked how close we were to the mountain and the restaurants. We had a nice meal at The Foundry with a lovely server. We did not like the two twin beds pushed together as a king bed; they were not comfortable. One of the pillows was ripped on the side and losing stuffing. We had to go upstairs from the bedroom to use the only bathroom; this resulted in less restful sleep than normal. Also kids from the next unit were running right outside our bedroom area on the ground level one morning & it was hard to completely close the blinds. The bedroom was very sparse in decor. The resort fee does not really make sense in April, as we did not find inclusive facilities to use geared towards adults, nor near the cottages (no hot tub/pool, fire pits, movie room, pool or ping pong, etc.) & we did not need the shuttle. Most lifts were down on day two due to weather (only beginner ones were running; thus we did not ski & can't return this year to use 2 ski passes from a 4-pack that are supposed to expire... $150 loss).
- Shelby (6/5): -
- Ahasanul Kabir (7/5): Excellent location with rooms for much needed upgrade. - Location. Its an old hotel who needs to upgrade the bathroom facilities. As off now its a basic 1 star quality.
- Perkins (8/5): Great, quiet getaway for the family - The waterpark was clean and a good size to keep track of your kids. The staff was very attentive and kind. It was hard to go in April as it is the end of the season and a lot of restaurants and activities were not open.
- Aleksey (9/5): will coming back for amazing slopes, water park & friendly atmosphere, upgrade mattresses please - excellent and friendly staff, clean, convenient, shuttle service Beds were old and dated. time change mattresses. had to sleep on the floor.
- emily (4/5): Never have I ever…. - Close to mountain This barebones unit was a complete disappointment. Broken appliances. Dishwasher. Laundry washer. Electrical issues in both bedrooms. Sheets were pilled not enough blankets. Tiny coffee maker no salt and pepper no sponge to wash dishes an no pot holders in a kitchen?!! The king bedroom was two twin mattresses! I could keep going but the list is too long. Terrible communication. Such a shame we thought the resort would be well maintained and impressive
- Raelyn (8/5): Ola great location to spend the day skiing. - Quiet and easy to access. The place was missing many items. Nothing to cook with, coffee filters, butter knives, and other weird items that people don’t realize are needed.
- Rita (10/5): -
- Priscilla (8/5): Great experience and memories made with our grandchildren - Love the mixed family fun Found it some what confusing at first to get around
- lorell (2/5): Dissapointed on the shape of the cottage and not responsive front desk - How close to the activities it was. Have laundry in the unit The cottage was ok but really deteriorated. Beds weren't comfy. Pull out couch shrink in the middle like a hole and smells like pee. The toilets, carpet, towels were stained. Table chairs were falling apart. Ice cube trays broken.
Has only one tv in the living room, not on rooms. Have laundry in the unit.
Note: Bring everything because they dont provide even soap to clean your hands or dishes.
When i got in and the floor was dusty with debris and the dishwasher was loaded from the previous person with dirty dishes.
I Had a incident with loud neighbours for 2 night and took me many calls to front desk (he was annoyed i was calling several times) till i request the manager to make them send security to make them lower the noise and when they left afrer 15 min the noise went up again.
- Bianca (7/5): Overall very nice stay would stay again and suggest to friends - Staff was very friendly. Accommodations like parking and ski lockers for overnight guests made everything very convenient The hallways of the hotel were not very clean. There was trash and candy on the floor coming out of the elevator that was there all weekend.
- robert (9/5): Great unit at a great ski resort!! - The unit met our needs. It was a perfect size for 2 people. The unit was clean and comfortable. More forks - 2 forks is not enough. I don't count the numerous baby forks that were there.
We managed but having the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is difficult.
Check-out instructions would be helpful.
- Jocelyne (7/5): -
- Lindsay (8/5): -
- Lynn (9/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): Great spot for a ski trip! - Golf village condos are down the hill and a bit away from the main resort area and the ski lifts. The shuttle was very quick and easy to get a ride to tramside. Unit was a nice size for two small families. Decent furniture and comfy beds. Skiing of course was all time great. Go on a weekday if you can swing it to beat the crowds. Waterpark is a must after skiing all day. Food at the resort is so-so, a few other spots 15-20min away are much better quality. Bare bones provided for the kitchen, as in one tiny pot and some mixed cooking utensils. No pans or sheet pans for the oven. If your planning on actually cooking then bring your own gear. We also found at least 20 ladybugs crawling around and even more dead ones. Harmless but not appealing when arriving for a long weekend. Also Booking.com did not provide enough info on the unit. Did not know which area to check in at or where we were staying on the resort untill I emailed the Jay peak team directly.
- Moira (8/5): - Great location. Shuttle service to mtn was easy Cleanup from visitors before wasnt great.
- Carol (9/5): - friendly staff perhaps a fitness area in hotel/hot tub
- Kristin (6/5): - Staff was amazing. Very helpful and friendly A bit rundown/ dirty dishes/ pots and pans
- Karen (8/5): Lois and Kristen were awesome - Shuttle. Cabin
Restaurant/food was very good Receptionist at stateside wasn’t very friendly/helpful.
- Smith (5/5): Disappointing - Location to lifts IF…..and that’s a big IF…the lifts are running. “Winds” or “conditions” are often cited as reasons lifts are down. But when we visited, it appeared to be more a case of management/personnel shortage as weather did not seem an issue. Management seems to have given up on maintenance/improvements. Our suite had a bathroom door with broken closure. The lock feature was broken; door was locked shut and couldn’t be opened from living area side; everyone had to go thru the bedroom to use the other door….not conducive to having a suite to accommodate several people. Dishwasher was loose under the counter; bathroom faucet would not shut off; toilet was loose; curtains had torn shredded hems dragging along the carpet which was very dirty. High price for worn accommodations. One elevator for several floors of rooms that was very slow. Long waits when people were moving luggage in and out. Often easier to climb multiple sets of stairs. They do offer free valet parking, however, no reserved area for guests who want to self park. We were instructed to drive around and hope to find a space in general area. We ended up in the mud by the maintenance barn. If you are an early riser wanting coffee (not room Keurig), nothing open to purchase. Positives: Hotel staff were welcoming; Foundry Pub was a great place to eat.
- Bruce (9/5): - not on slope
- Christine (10/5): We definitely plan to be back next year. - We stayed in a one bedroom at the bottom of the chairlift, so it was a perfect ski on/off place. The place was spacious enough for two of us, and the kitchenette was great alternative to going out to eat every night. It would be helpful if the kitchen was stocked better. There were not very many utensils, and the fry pan was tiny.
- Sean (7/5): - Room. The ski lifts
- Johnson (10/5): -
- Gregory (1/5): Absolute mismatch between cost and service - Mountains, and only because they are difficult to make uncomfortable. The waterpark is very crowded on weekends. Problem with the parking for the Ice Rink.
- Karen (10/5): Perfect ski days, very clean, great staff! - Clean & slopeside with excellent food. Plenty for non skiers to do on the resort. Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Great unexpected stay! - Very conveniently located. Breakfast included and there is an EV charger on site. Takes a shuttle to get to the water park and other restaurants choices
- Kate (4/5): -
- Murillo (10/5): -
- Emilia (10/5): -
- Towles (7/5): -
- Louis-Philippe (9/5): -
- Salam (10/5): Magnifique - Emplacement et services
- Ailyn (9/5): -
- Timothy (7/5): Fun Ski Area - The Jay Peak ski mountain, the location, the convenience to the mountain. Limited restaurant options, limited entertainment options for adults except the ski area, expensive hotel rooms (for what the accommodations are)
- Jessica (9/5): -
- Adrienne (7/5): -
- Jessica (9/5): - Our 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our family of 5. The adults shared the basement bedroom, the teenaged girls shared the upstairs bedroom, and our son took the pullout couch. We appreciated the full kitchen, as we like to make our own breakfast and dinner on long ski days. We also like the ability to wash ski socks and balaclavas in the evening, so the washer/dryer was helpful. The resort shuttle system was easy to use, and after dialing the number each morning we had a shuttle picking us up within 5 minutes. Our kids enjoyed the water park (for an extra fee) and we loved the mountain for skiing. We would recommend packing coffee and laundry detergent, two things we forgot to bring! We look forward to our next trip! It was pricey, but skiing is pricey, and staying near the hill especially so.
- Heather (10/5): - Location

- John (8/5): - Spacious condo with all the amenities we needed. Was listed as ski in/ski out and it wasn't. There is curbside shuttle to the lodge or you could drive up to the lodge, which we chose to do.
- Hitendra (2/5): - Very bad service water dropping in bathroom no hot water ,gas stove not working
- Emeline (8/5): -
- Jacqueline (7/5): Very pricey - Close to the beginner ski area
Nice restaurant for breakfast buffet Too far from the main hotel with a water park
- Richard (7/5): - Mattresses need replacing

- Angus (6/5): We were excited to go to Jay because of the snow. That part went great! The condo was distinctly ade - We stayed in a condo. Location was fine, a bit far, but the shuttle seems to work well enough. The condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen did not have enough dishes or silverware. There was no coffee there, which was a bummer. Having some basics like salt and pepper and sugar would be helpful. Not enough silverware. The knives were dangerously dull and falling apart. The dishwasher was low quality And hard to use because the racks kept coming off the tracks. Other than that great!
- Alona (9/5): -
- Mir (9/5): So relaxing and nice! - We really enjoyed our stay, comfy and clean rooms. We loved how big is the resort and all the beautiful mountains view. As we are mountains people this was so relaxing for us. We enjoyed our time next to the fire pits outside and we also enjoyed the restaurants in the ressort. It's a little bit expensive for the price we payed a 7pm checked-in is considered so late. I would love to come again and spend a day but will not do it beacuse of the late check-in.
As a traveler I always enjoy free breakfast... again for this price one would expect a free breakfast
- John (10/5): -
- Ali (9/5): Our stay was all worth it! All of us especially the kids had a blast! - The studio suite that we paid for is just right for our family. It offers enough space for us and our kids to move around the unit. Kids and adult alike love the waterpark! 1. There was a loud noise, I think it was the furnace. annoying at times during the night.
2. Unit 4034 the window blinds beside the kitchen is not working.
- Eddie (10/5): - I like everything from this place, especially the flowrider I don't like it when is crowded
- Richard (9/5): -
- Pamela (9/5): Beautiful. Past peak, but so lovely anyway. - Quiet. We stayed in a cabin, and it was lovely. Clean, well-furnished. In our sixties, a bathroom on the same floor as the bed is always helpful. They are on different floors in the cabin. Also, the amenity of coffee available for the coffee maker like there is in a hotel room might have been nice.
- STEPHANIE (10/5): - Loved the room spacious and clean. Had evrything you could need in a room fridge, microwave, a coffee machine. Beds where big and comfy. About a 1.30 min drive to Stowe and Burlington. No washer and dryer in building.
- Gwen (6/5): One and done - Wasn’t crowded and dark enough for star gazing Not a paved parking lot, was not told that the restaurant was closed for a private event so had to drive to the other hotel on the property for dinner, and 1 elevator working
- Dhananjay Singh (8/5): -
- Dulani (10/5): Excellent - Cleanliness, friendly staff
- Amy (9/5): -
- RONALDO VICTOR (7/5): De noche todo muy oscuro - La ubicación Una cosa es de día, pero cuando anochece se complica todo por la falta de iluminación exterior
- Mary (7/5): -
- Shuhua (10/5): - Lovely hotel room! Very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean. We really loved the views and the nature around the property.
- Bledar (2/5): - Fridge dirty
Microwave dirty
Shower sleepery
No sleepers on bathroom
Fan on bathroom not working
Staff is perfectly
Pizza crust hard to chew
- himaja (4/5): They offered us a room which has pungent smell. But got it changed after an hour. - They offered us a room which has pungent smell. But got it changed after an hour. They offered us a room which has pungent smell. But got it changed after an hour.
- Peter (6/5): - I had a unit with a small kitchen. The carpet was very stained/dirty and looked like it was way overdue for replacement. Found a dirty pan in the oven and broken glassware in the dishwasher. The oven looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Looking past the poor cleanliness and wear, the rest of the unit was basic but ok with obvious corporate cost cutting. Overpriced for what I got. You’re paying for the location near the mountain. For example the TV in the sitting area was old and had no Wi-Fi to support streaming services. No pulls on the kitchen cabinets and drawers which probably saved them a few dollars but made the drawers and cabinets hard to open. No TV in the bedroom area. They must have the cheapest toilet seat they could find as I could feel the plastic bending when I closed the lid and sat on it. The bedroom was downstairs in the unit which worked well for me but this would be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. The unit included an unfinished laundry room adjacent to the downstairs bedroom that some might like but I didn’t use this. The unit had a small outside deck which had a partial view over a valley but it looked to me like they had allowed the nearby wooden area to grow in which blocked most of what was likely a very nice view when the units were built. One the leaves fall off the view may improve for winter visits. I visited off season in the fall.
- Linn (7/5): -
- mike (10/5): - We were exceptionally surprised !! I did not know this was a fancy ski resort. I thought it was a small motel. WE HAS SUCH A GREAT TIME !! And will definitely stay here when we visit VT again.
- Jeff (8/5): - It was great
- Vinodini (10/5): - Nice Stay! We enjoyed it !
- gyanendra (2/5): - I was disappointed with my stay due to the mattress situation. Instead of providing a proper king-size mattress as advertised, simply two double mattresses were pushed together. The result was incredibly uncomfortable—there was a noticeable gap in the middle, and the uneven surface made it nearly impossible to sleep well. More over we are travelling with a kid, it was very uncomfortable with one sleeping in the middle and mattress was pretty uneven. For a place that markets itself as a luxury resort, this does not look like proper standard. A good night's sleep is much expected for relaxing, but this kind of situation makes a big difference when you're trying to relax. Much was expected from this kind of resort but unfortunately it didn't live upto the expectation.
- Laura (10/5): - Great place, great price!
- Mary (2/5): - Stayed in a cottage. - Carpet was absolutely disgusting - looked like animals had peed everywhere and no attempt was made to clean it up at all. Basement Toilet had not been cleaned and was soiled. Makes you wonder about everything else. Wish I could post pictures here.
- Manilyn (10/5): - Excellent….
- Lomuscio (5/5): - Beautiful grounds for seeing the fall foliage. The food selection on the resort and surrounding town were not great. There were no seasonal items available on the menu. A shuttle service between the stateside and tram side hotels would have been helpful. The rooms were very bright in the morning the black out curtains did not provide full coverage. Vending machines were very expensive. $3 for a bottle of water when everything thing around is closed seems outrageous.
- Alberta Bentley (10/5): - This was a very nice modern hotel. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Had a Keurig in the room Bathroom counter had no space to put stuff
- dalir (10/5): -
- Machelle (6/5): - The Stateside is nice and new. The problem was we were given the address to The Jay hotel about a mile away. The pictures were of The Jay on Expedia’s side. Our reservation was my for Stateside by Expedia. This needs to be clarified for people coming in after dark and trying to find the hotel.
- Robert (8/5): Nice hotel stay - Room was clean, some of the sheets and blankets were not.
- Subramanya (10/5): - Excellent cottages and resort facilities
- Delilah (10/5): - This was the first time my family and I visited Jay Vermont. We absolutely loved staying in the cottage! It was super clean, right beside nature and tucked in the mountains. There were neighbors but everyone was respectful. 10/10 recommend!!
- Hanh (10/5): - Beautiful stay for leaves foilage. A wonderful trip that is so family friendly! Check out the indoor water park for sure!
- Melendez (10/5): - Amazing place it was clean, Beautiful 😍
- Lana (10/5): - The area was beautiful, the staff was courteous, the room was clean and comfortable.
- Donna (10/5): - We spent one quick night here while visiting a friend. Stateside was comfortable and clean.
- Anita (10/5): - Beautiful property! Rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Samuel (10/5): - Fantastic!
