- Ata-ul (10/5): - It was a lovely stay at Ramada at the end of January for 10 days. Stayed with my family in the duplex 2 bedroom unit (2202). Ramada is a relatively modest budget value chain and it more than met our expectations. Building and Room: Slightly dated, but well kept and clean. Our unit was also a bit dated with a bit of misty smell in the beginning, but i attributed to it not being used in a long time presuambly. Pretty decent minimalist amenities. Breakfast service which is an addon was good, with good quality and variety. Its on JBR, just a minute or so walk to the JBR public beach and all the shops and restaurants at the Walk, so that was convenient. Also has parking on the main floor, which was usedul for us given we decided to rent a car. Service: What made our stay really special was the outstanding service, starting from concierge to reception to room service and breakfast service. Everyone in the staff was super friendly and courteous and did a fantastic job tending the needs of the guests. In particular, we were really impressed by the dedication and attention to detail by two gentlemen, Newton and Bishwas, who were responsible for cleaning our room and providing turndown service. They did an immaculate job everyday and went above and beyond. They even arranged a small cake and decorated our room for my birthday without us requesting it...that was a very personal touch and we appreciated the gesture! All in all, I would return to the hotel anytime I go back to Dubai.

Spcial thank you to Ahmid the room #1502 attendent during 29th Sept to 3re Oct 2022, Shaker the porter all staff at the front desk every one of them was very cooprative providing excellet service and we will not forget Arsher the very gentle UAE man and all staff of the dinning rooms one by one. The room mini bar had no price list or note to say it was paid for. Having stayed in numerous hotels, no price list implies its complimentary. The hotel staff were quite rude about the whole thing and were adamant that there was a price list. I asked them to show me where it is as i checked fully before hand. All he would say the note is there and refused to have any further conversation. None the less they forced me to pay which left a bad taste at the end of a good few days in JBR.

- Stephanie (4/5): - My family & I stayed here over the Xmas period. The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel however isn’t a 4* hotel as the rooms are very tired. After travelling from the uk and staying awake for 36hrs to then find the maintenance team in the room until 1am fixing a leak on Xmas day was not acceptable. This didn’t end there and they came and went in the room as they pleased throughout the stay resulting in using the facilities of the bathrooms of the other members of the same party. We had 3 rooms within the party; Room1; mentioned above had maintenance throughout our stay due to a leak & curtains were hanging off Room2; the flush on the toilet kept running Room 3; previous guests assuming must have been smoking in it as the room stunk. The general areas of the hotel were well presented, but other than the area for breakfast there are no social spaces. If you are using this as a base and not wanting to spend any time there and in some cases use the bathroom this is the place for you!
- Bashar (6/5): - The room the first night smelled terribly. Apparently I was given a smoking room, and they spray it with something that neutralizes the smell, and the result was just horrible! Also on the 5th night, came back to the room in the evening and found it wasn't cleaned. I went to the reception and told them to please clean and tidy the room. Came back later to find the bed still untidy with a garbage bag on it, the bathroom as is, and 3 bottles of water. It was like someone came, and then left in a hurry and never came back. Otherwise, Location is great and room is spacious and a very good shower box. It it wasn't for the smell and the cleaning, it would have ranked much higher. Doubt I will come back to this hotel.

- Rima (2/5): - I’ve been travelling for business and pleasure around the world and have stayed at hotels on JBR for many years. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had! Cleanliness was super poor. I had to numerously ask for the bathroom to be cleaned properly (and this was just after check-in!). I repeatedly had to ask for more than 1 towel to be placed in my room. Mind you the towels look like they are decades old. For a hotel that is “newer” than others on the block, the cheapness of the quality is shocking. The straw that broke the camel’s back, was seeing roaches in the room. I will never ever stay at the Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham. I will discourage anyone that I know from going any where near it.

- Victoria (4/5): Not great. Not as nice as cheaper hotels in Dubai. - This hotel was disappointing due to a few reasons: the entrance/lobby was simply not nice. You have to walk into a parking garage to get inside the hotel, it’s dimly lit and simply not aesthetically pleasing. The address provided in the booking was not a complete address and there are 4 Ramada’s in the area, two of which have the exact same name so it is very difficult when you are not from there to be able to instruct a taxi driver with no proper address. The room has extremely sparse furnishings, I had to keep my suitcase on the floor. There was no sign to indicate that you do not want your room cleaned so that was very frustrating. The in room coffee offered is instant coffee. The pool area was very small and therefore crowded. When we went for a walk to the plaza floor to get some snacks from the store the first night we arrived... we had to walk through the restaurant of the hotel; all of the cereal for the next morning was out with bugs flying around. Needless to say we skipped breakfast at the hotel. Anyone who wants coffee check out rogue coffee shop it’s very good, close by and the best prices that we saw. Also when we booked this hotel through hotels.com, it said airport transport which to me means included... not the case they will simply call a taxi for you... disappointed with the hotel and with this website.

- Diane (10/5): - There was nothing to dislike. This is my second stay at this hotel. They even surprised me on my birthday by putting a cake, card and balloons in my room which was a wonderful surprise to find when I arrived back at hotel from a day out.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The apartment itself is a good decent size. Although I booked this expecting a washing machine Within the facilities. I informed them and they put one straight away which was nice of them. The worst part was the washing machine was so old it took hours to do a wash then with no dryer the clothes took time to dry. Second day of my stay I noticed tiny worms crawling on my bed. I ended up killing what I saw and slept on the corner of the bed for the rest of my stay. I had rashes on my skin thinking it’s from heat rash! but I believe its not after going to the pharmacy. Anyway I won’t be staying here again. The breakfast was nice and staff was pleasant.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location across road from the beach and close to bars and restaurants. Massive room. Really nice staff. Early 7am check in was a breeze. Ok it’s not luxury but fantastic for the price in this area. No beach chairs but offer free use of beach towels and bags.

- malik (4/5): Shed like rooms for Dubai standerds. - Me and my wife go Dubai every year and stay on the JBR where this hotel is and that's about the best thing i can say. I felt suffocated in the duluxe room, the bed was right up againast the window and wall. Also in the 4 visits i made to dubai this is the first proclaimed 4 star hotel, apartment, residence, lodge that doesn't have a fridge freezer. Room smells of sewage or damp or aircon? For a hot country this is not acceptable especially when cheaper fully furnished apartments on JBR are offering accommodation at much cheaper price. In the same price range or much lower you will find Suha Hotel Apartments, Barcello Residence, Marina View Hotels, Rove Dubai Marine, Roda Amwaj Suits these are the only ones i will recommend as i have stayed in them and received the Dubai 100% satisfaction! Don't fall for the "we're looking forward to welcoming you back next time" if you can't get it right first time what makes you think second time will be any different.

I spoke to him about it and he up graded me to a one bed suite . The room was amazing and the terrace was out of this world ! Complimentary beach towels with a beach brolley if required which is great as 2 beds and brolley on the beach is 195 dirhams per day! Lovely area to stay in and would definitely return.

- Karen (10/5): Great Hotel and Good Location - Lovely comfortable room with great amenities. . Very close to restaurants,shops and beach The Walk JBR. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Starbucks and Macdonalds just next door outside Ground floor parking entrance onto street and supermarket just outside Plaza level entrance. Concierge arranged taxis for us when required and they couldn’t do enough to help. When our air conditioning broke down they notified us as soon as we returned to the hotel and offered us a change of room but as it wasn’t that hot and we were leaving next day, we declined . Also due to our flight being cancelled due to weather , we arrived two days late and they responded to our phone call and e-mail notifications promptly and notified reception of our change in check in. Very impressed
