Felt very safe here and the staff are very lovely and - Location in DTLA was good and walking distance to many restaurants and sites. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable bed. Shower was hot and complimentary soaps and face mask was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building was interesting and the coffee shop was lovely addition. Nothing .. all was good.. a little noise from the street til late but that’s nothing to do with the hotel.

Valeska (1/5): Horrible: Didn’t Stay; walked in and walked out. - The lobby. The room was unacceptable and we were disappointed with the presentation. We did NOT stay. The carpet was dirty and it smelled like they had sprayed or fumigated with a strong deodorizer (this affected my asthma). The carpet was a yellowish/green with stains and the sofa was old and stained.The ceiling was cemented concrete beams no ceiling; no air conditioning. The bed looked like a futon; no sheets or comforter available; the bathroom had no door. My husband went down to request another room which looked exactly the same. I was so upset I didn’t take pictures. Instead I was on the phone with Hilton trying to get another reservation at a proper hotel. The concerns were discussed with management. Since, we only walked into the room to be disappointed and didn’t not stay - we REQUESTED a refund. We had paid for early check in at 1pm. Management said she would attempt to get us a refund; it was early enough to make it available to another party. Reason for room decor was gothic The only reason we selected this hotel was because it was suggested close to the fashion district. The hotel was not worth the money we lost; because they did not give us a refund. The check in process was a stressful process. Having check in virtually was a hassle. I would not recommend this hotel. When you have gone top tier hotels 10 minutes away for less money as well.

Laura (8/5): - The staff were all brilliant. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The bed was super comfortable, and there were enough towels and storage space. And the location was fantastic - really easy to access bus/metro routes, and to find places to eat. The water in the shower took a long time to get warm. Also getting the access codes via email the day of check-in is problematic for international visitors. I struggled to access my emails initially. It was fine because the concierge let me in, but it could have been an issue if there were no members of staff on the front door.

Deepak (6/5): Within walking distance of all things to do in downtown LA - The staff are very friendly and helpful. Decent location and value if you wanna be around downtown area. The rooms are scheduled for renovations. Until then there’s some exposed concrete, very very old carpet.

BILLY (6/5): - Very comfortable beds and great location. When I arrived I was given a room quite unlike that in the pictures, at the back of the building with only a single window. It had a large wet stain on the carpet where there had been spilled coffee, not cleaned up, and generally seemed to be damp. There was also a party through the night in the rooftop bar that ended around 4am, which I was informed is open five days a week, as the room was on the eleventh floor the bass was highly audible. I asked the next day to be moved, to a room at the front, which I was, which fitted the pictures better and had a nice layout on the 9th floor. Here I could no longer hear the party music. However, the decor as people have mentioned is more than a little tired - some stains on the carpet here and there and lots of wear to different surfaces, a tile missing in the bathroom. While the value remained good and the beds were extremely comfortable, and the complimentary coffee and tea was very appreciated, I do feel the place is overpriced based on the condition in which I found it and in need of better communication and maintenance.

Room was a nice size, shower was hot and the hotel was clean and well staffed. The rooftop bar was nice, although during our trip the events just weren't our thing. I'd recommend this place for sure. This is a personal thing, i hated the bed. It was a mattress on a flat hard base so it was way firmer than i like. Again, this is just me so take that with a pinch of salt. The windows were double glazed but not tight when closed so sound pollution was quite high. But, i travel with ear plus so it wasn't so bad (plus they supply disposable ear plugs).

Chad (10/5): - The Pre-Check-in made it super easy. All you have to do is upload your driver's license and payment method. They send you a code and you can go straight to your room when you get to the hotel. Didn't even have to stop at the front desk. Super awesome and easy
Gabriela (9/5): Sexy room. Helpful Staff. - I really like the room that I booked. The pictures did not do the room justice. It definitely exceeded expectations. The bathtub was great. All the room amenities were great. They staff were very helpful and let us borrow umbrella when it rained. Also when I was leaving and repacking they let us borrow the handheld weighing device so the luggage doesn't go over the allowance at the airport. The coffee offered in the room was expired and unfortunately I had ingested some before realizing it. I did report it to front desk and the staff got us a coffee and the cafe downstairs free of charge. The other expired coffee was not replaced in the room. The rooftop bar was great but the lights in the fridge at the bar was way to white florescence and bright which cheapens the bar mood.

Will (2/5): AVOID - The free water in the reception. The staff tried to help as much as they could, but were let down by the management of the hotel. Upon checking in at the hotel we received notification that 2 of the main reasons why we booked the hotel, for the laundry facilities and the gym, were both out of order for the entirety of our stay. If we had known that this would have been the case, we would have cancelled our booking prior to arriving and gone to another hotel. We tried to cancel the rest of our stay so that we could go to another hotel, but the hotel staff said this was for Booking.com to sort, even though Booking.com said this was in fact for the hotel to arrange. In addition to this, one of the lifts was out of service for the entire trip which meant there was only 1 operational lift for guests to use which wasn't ideal. We also only received housekeeping on one of our days, and this was only after we requested this from the staff after going downstairs. They said that on our dashboard it had been set to 'do not disturb' and so the room hadn't been cleaned, even though we never set this setting ourselves or could see this setting when we looked at the dashboard ourselves. When the housekeeping was done on the one day, they didn't replenish any of the teas in the room and left rubbish on the sides. Overall we were very underwhelmed with our stay and I can't say I would recommend anyone to stay here. In addition to the hotel not being up to standard, the surrounding area is not a nice environment with lots of homeless people around. If you're thinking of booking this hotel, do yourself a favour and reconsider and go elsewhere, as if you do get any problems with your stay they're not likely to be resolved.

Hayes (10/5): - Everything was great. I had some concerns with location when arriving as this was the first time in LA and the location was a decent walk from the conference center. I walked everyday morning and night and it was good. Room was unique and comfortable.
