• Elizabeth (9/5): Clean, remodeled, and comfortable rooms with great value. The only downside was the noisy casino atmosphere late at nigh - The room itself was very nice, clean, and clearly remodeled. Beds were comfortable, everything felt clean, and overall it was a great value for the price. I honestly have no complaints about the room itself. The only downside for me was the casino atmosphere. I knew it was a casino hotel when I booked, but around 1 AM it started getting pretty noisy in the hallways, probably from people coming back after drinking. The surrounding area/location also initially made me second guess booking here. However, once we got inside the room, I honestly forgot all about that because the room was so clean and comfortable. Overall, I would definitely book again based on the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. What I didn’t like about the property was mainly the casino atmosphere. Around 1 AM the hallways became pretty noisy, likely from guests coming back after drinking. The surrounding area/location also wasn’t the greatest and initially made me second guess staying there.

I asked for a lake view and I received a hill with dirt. I didn’t see the lake. The phone didn’t work. I tried to use it and dial out. The bathroom was a bit too small but it was clean.

We had to drive to Temecula to find another hotel because the four hotels in that little area were all poorly maintained and in an unsafe area.

• Verified traveler (6/5): $80 Hotel with Lipstick - The Econo is fine for a stop over or to grind 2/3 at the casino for a few hours. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms which was very clean, very comfortable. The bed was particularly impressive. The food at the restaurant is mediocre, but better than it looks. Bar food with an Asian cuisine twist. Wildly overpriced, which is how I felt overall about the hotel. They generally charge $120 a night but this is an $80 hotel at best. We arrived super early and they didn’t allow early check-ins regardless of the parking lot being completely empty and the casino only running 5 tables (not busy). Generally, I found management to be aloof and unhelpful, but again it’s an $80 hotel with lipstick.

Worse it's $20 more the much nicer properties. Tiny flat screen, Rude management, dated throughout $150 deposit!!!!!!! There's not $150 worth of furnishings Horrible experience

Seems pretty sketchy from a security standpoint considering this is attached to a casino. The main building decor is really dated, but it's overall fairly clean.

• Brian (5/5): Decent clean place in a run down hotel - The restaurant (CJ's) is wonderful! The hotel has much differed maintenance. For the high prices they charge to stay there it would be nice to put 10% back into maintaining the rooms. The carpet was shot, the bathroom flooring was peeling, the bathroom was way over caulked to try to seal the 1" or bigger gaps. These rooms should have had a complete overhaul over ten years ago.

Pool felt warmer than jacuzzi. I was looking forward to settling in a warm sauna/jacuzzi, especially since the drain stopper in bathtub did not work.

I was then asked to pay another $150 deposit. I was absolutely chocked at how high of a deposit that was. When I said “it’s another $150 to check in?” The lady responded with the most rude tone “it’s Lake Elsinore and everyone destroys the room.” I didn’t realize we were at a college spring break party town. The hotel itself is complete trash and feels like a halfway house. Disgusting!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Unhappy - The room was very outdated and not cleaned well. We could not shower because the tub was dirty and had old hair under the mat. The bathtub would not hold water. The room smelled like mold and we had to leave the windows open most of the stay. We could not walk on the floor without shoes or socks because the carpet was sticky. Not impressed. The pictures on the website were not what I was put into.
