The attention to details are incredible. Love the comfy mattress, fine linens our suite was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast outstanding many delicious selections oh wow the almond pancakes most delicious. Parking on site so very convenient the grounds so well kept. Can’t wait to go back again. Stephens (1/5): 🤬 - Great Breakfasts Third stay. Not at high enough standard for the Reserve Select membership. Hosts just failed us completely. Cake of dried detergent in middle of sheets. Bathroom incomplete with sink in room. One host obnoxious and other unwilling to sincerely apologize since they are domestic partners. I was almost in tears at how Bill's partner didn't recognize my partner as a guest after a 15 minute conversation and chewed her out for using the restroom for guests. Ruined a $950 vacation . They seemed too preoccupied with medical issues to even initiate any sort of amends or heartfelt apology. I won't put this out in public because they didn't used to be this incompetent but I have to tell you their attitude was truly infuriating.

Charlotte (10/5): Perfect gem - On a scale of 1 - 10.....I rate it a 20. It was such a beautiful place and in the perfect area. We walked to dinner, came back and relaxed on the porch. We were enjoying the peace and quiet and then we heard the church bells ring 8 times and then a little song played ever so softly. The Inn had beautiful antique furniture. Always had some, water, coffee and snacks out. The sweetest woman checked us in and then showed us around. We definitely want to come back and stay for 3 or 4 nights.

Charles (10/5): Great relaxing opportunity in a great little town. I needed the downtime. - It was absolutely great! My wife and I had been in Newport for a wedding on Thursday-Saturday. We made our way towards Falmouth on Sunday. It was perfect for relaxing; beautiful little town. The property was great and I only wish I had a day or so more to spend there. Nothing. It was great. I didn't like the fact I couldn't stay 1 more day.

Dr. Philip (10/5): - The Palmer House Inn was a beautiful B&B located within walking distance of shops, dining and Martha's Vineyard ferry. The first thought my wife had was that "they thought of everything!" Every detail was attended to. Inn owner Tom was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one was one of the best!
Jonelle (10/5): - Owned by a lovely and welcoming couple, the Palmer House Inn boasts a property that honors prominent writers. The Inn’s mascot Brody and the staff truly made the stay at the beautifully aged Victorian home one of a kind. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Sarah (10/5): A gem of a gem loved everything - Palmer House Inn is a fantastic, well-oiled machine of efficiency and comfort. I loved my stay. The bed was maybe the most comfortable of all the beds I've B&Bd and I B&B a lot and am orthpedically challenged Goldie locks. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant staff was so on it, friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal, walking distance to Main St shops but also easy access to Ferry, other points of interest like Woods Hole. My efficiency comment refers to the reservation process as well as check-in, all done via text so easy. It honestly felt more like an Airbnb but with an awesome breakfast and without having to spend an hour cleaning the place despite paying a ton of money for a cleaning fee. That said, it's very hands-off for a B&B if you want it to be. I actually never met my hosts, I wish I had (sorry I missed you!) But I did meet their incredible dog, almost kidnapped him but I don't think he would have fit in my car. But he was a big love bug and made my breakfast so lovely. I loved everything, I will note that it's a tone of stairs to some of the top floor rooms so maybe get a first floor if you don't want to lug luggage up them.

Andrea (5/5): Passable - Palmer House location in the Falmouth village is great. Can walk to shops and restaurants. The house is a cute Victorian house and carriage house with rooms. We stayed in the Samuel Langhorne Clemons which has 2 beds (we were 2 friends travelling). The beds are comfy and the bathroom is renovated. This is a pet friendly unit and the wear and tear of the carpet shows. Palmer advertises a wonderful traditional full breakfast and it was highly disappointing. We were offered 2 eggs with 2 overcooked slices of bacon (seemed microwaved)and 2 regular pieces of store bought bread. When you pay $450 USD per night + tax you expect a decent breakfast with home baked goods, croissants, eggs benedict, omelettes, something more luxurious than basic diner level food. The staff in the dinking room didnt seem to understand English and got confused with our order which didnt help. Our 2nd day we skipped breakfast and headed into town and ate a fabulous breakfast at the Pickle Jar Kitchen where we had house smoked salmon, fresh baked bagels, home made crème cheese, and a huge eggs benedict for under $20 per meal. The value for money is not at this BnB. We wouldnt stay there again. Find a less expensive hotel option and eat at the local restaurants.

Loved the pump bottles for shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. And especially loved the magnifying make-up mirror!

We love the centrality of the property. We visit the area to ride our bikes and spend time by the ocean. So this property is perfect in location. John (10/5): Best B&B - Amazing property and stay at The Palmer House Inn. Very gracious hosts, delicious breakfast and amazing room. Very clean and comfortable bed with the most amazing linens. I did not want to get out of bed. Beautiful property and plenty of parking at no charge. Felt like I left all of the world's worries behind .... Gardens so beautiful and the attention to detail on every item considered. We would definitely stay again. Brodie, their dog, was just an added bonus when we checked in. Very memorable part of our vacation.
