Close to beachfront, harbour and Theatre. On the second floor, which my dodgy knees didn't enjoy and bed was only a double.
• Antony (9/5): - Beutiful property and amazing hosts. Breakfast was really good able to pre order and nothing was to much trouble for the hosts. Very accomodating and welcoming. Very close to the marina, 5 min walk at most. Nothing we didnt like as such. Parking is very limited all around the area and you have to get lucky. The hosts do give you resident parking permits, but its pot luck if you find a space. We must stress, this is not the fault of the hosts at all. Just mindful if you have mobility problems.

• Clare (9/5): Homely hospitality - Friendly, welcoming and homely feel. Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Located in a quiet and calm area. Owners were very helpful with guidance and advice on where to go to eat and drink and day trips out. The house is located on top of a hill and walking up and down the steep hill is required to get to the harbour.

The entire property was spotless, and the room was excellent—comfortable and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection to choose from. I would highly recommend staying here.

Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Liebe und Engagement hier gearbeitet wird. Wir können das Ashleigh House uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! We had a wonderful stay at Ashleigh House in Torquay! We would especially like to thank you for the lovely large dinosaur eggs for the children – it was such a delightful and unexpected Easter surprise. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. You can immediately tell how much care and dedication goes into everything here. We can wholeheartedly recommend Ashleigh House and would love to come back again!

• Dave (10/5): - Our hosts Steve and Jan were amazing. Supplied us with a parking permit for outside. They were very informative about the area and recommended different venues. They both were a lovely couple. If and when we return to Torquay we will definitely be staying here again. Hotel was beautifully clean as was the bedroom. Breakfast was outstanding plenty of selection if required. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Nothing to not like. Everything was perfect.

Steven and his wife are beyond kind and welcoming made it feel much more personal than a big anonymous hotel chain would. Felt like a really authentic English B&B experience! House itself is newly renovated and feels fresh. Very clean and excellent breakfast served, accommodating dietary needs. Location also fab with town a five minute dander down the hills. Would definitely stay here again when in Torquay.

Plusem było to , że mogliśmy zatrzymać się z naszym psim przyjacielem Jedyne co było trochę na minus to obiekt znajduje się na wzniesieniu , powrót z miasta nie należy do najbardziej łatwych jeśli ktoś ma problemy ze zdrowiem. • Frank (9/5): Top-Gastgeber & tolles Zimmer - Sehr schönes, helles Zimmer (Nr.1) mit 4 Erker-Fenstern und Blick auf die Stadt. Hatten 4 Betten, davon 2 als Einzelbett mit 80+cm Breite. Ashleigh House ist in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße am Berg gelegen. Vom Gastgeber gab es Anliegerausweise für die Aufenthaltsdauer. Parken war direkt vorm Haus kostenlos möglich. Bis zum Hafen sind es 5-8min über Sträßchen und Treppen. Gute Restaurants findet man am Hafen bzw. der Hauptstraße. Das Frühstück war perfekt, Säfte, Yogurt, Müsli und Full englisch. Sogar Pancakes wurden frisch zubereitet, sehr zur Freude der Kinder. Das Gastgeberpaar war sehr freundlich (warm welcome), Gespräche über Wohlbefinden und sehenswerte Orte inklusive. Unser Zimmer hatte WC & Dusche eine halbe Treppe tiefer. Ist kein Problem, wollte ich aber erwähnen. Andere Zimmer sind mit WC intern.

Property was immaculate and the room we stayed in had everything we needed. The mini fridge with fresh milk and the coffee / tea / hot chocolate / bottles of water were replenished daily. Breakfast was amazing, fresh full English every morning. Loads and loads to choose from if that isn’t your cup of tea. I didn’t like that we couldn’t have stayed longer. Me the mrs my boy and the baby loved our stay.

From the moment we arrived, Jan and Steve made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth and hospitality truly made the difference. The entire house was immaculate, full of character, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Each morning, breakfast was a delight: freshly prepared, delicious, and served with care. Jan and Steve also provided fantastic local tips that helped us discover hidden gems and enjoy the best of the area. The location is ideal; peaceful yet close to the town center and the coastline. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you, Jan and Steve, for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Started with a warm welcome from the owners and continued from there! Bedrooms may not be over spacious but excellent use has been made of every inch of space! Personally, it was wonderful to see hot chocolate sachets included in the teas/coffee to make, even a box of tissues supplied - you often do not get this sort of service in 5* hotels 🤪 Breakfasts were incredible and cooked to order, nothing is too much trouble for our hosts. Not a lot! Parking is a bit of a lottery looking for spaces in the road or nearby roads, but we managed ok and were very grateful for the parking permits we were given.

We took our dog which is what we liked, there was a towel for if it was raining to wipe her down and umbrellas you can borrow. • Manuela (10/5): Schade, dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren - Super freundlicher Empfang. Sehr hundefreundlich. Im Zimmer stand ein Napf für den Hund und es lag ein Leckerli und eine Decke 😉 Wir hatten einen Parkausweis, dass wir vor dem Haus parken konnten. Wir haben gute Tipps für einen Stadtrundgang erhalten. Hier würden wir gerne länger bleiben 😍 Nichts
• Eva (9/5): Hotellet ligger lite uppe på en höjd med en kort promenad nertill byn. Enkelt att hitta! Mysigt! - Frukosten var jättegod och vi blev erbjudna allt som vi önskade! Oerhört gästvänliga, värdparet, mycket måna om oss och hjälpsamma!

• Stephanie Petra (10/5): - Die Gastgeber Jen und Steve sind einfach reizend und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Sie geben super Tips für Ausflüge und das Frühstück wird immer frisch auf Bestellung zubereitet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

• John (8/5): - Jan and Steve were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. The property was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and furnished. Torquay is very hilly and the property was on the side of a hill which is a bit of a problem if you have walking difficulties.
• David (10/5): short holiday - The room was good and comfortable, ideal for us. Very good breakfast served. They were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. A good base for us to stay for a excellent few days.
• Babbage (10/5): - On arrival we were made to feel very welcome,the room was very clean and the bed comfortable .The location was close to the town and in a quiet area .Breakfast was very good,offering something for everybody .We would definitely stay there again .
• Dawn (10/5): After a very busy 7 days touring Cornwall, we received the warmest welcome on arrival at Ashleigh House. The house is go - Beautiful traditional home, exceptionally clean! Very comfortable for a family of three generation. Location was a short walk to the marina. The hosts were super friendly, the breakfast was gorgeous with many available options. They were so kind to my little girl and even gave her a small gift when we left! It was the perfect place to rest for two nights after a 7 day road trip around Cornwall. When we return to Torquay, we will definitely be booking here again. Nothing - it was exceptional

• John (10/5): Excellent Location and Accommodation - Excellent location and accommodation, Jan and Steve are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choice. Parking was also available close to the property. We would thoroughly recommend this guest house.

• Lorraine (10/5): Perfect. - Steve and Jan were exceptional hosts. So friendly and spent time talking with us and informed us of local interests, beaches, cafes. Their B&B was spotless and felt very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, sausages very tasty and we even got a extra sausage for out little Scottie dog Rosea. We will definitely be staying again!! Thank you Steve and Jan. X N/A
