• Whyms (9/5): great value for money with exceptional staff - the staff were exceptional. v attentive and extremely helpful. bea at the front desk helped us organise tours and gave us plenty advice and on how best to spend our trip. the pool is lovely and right beside the sea. restaurants nearby and 7-11 just a few mins walk away. great value for money! we had a good few ants in our room but the cleaners killed them when they were cleaning our room! wifi is not the best either.

• Anna (8/5): Fantastiskt lugnt litet boende - Ett litet mysigt hotell som ligger längst upp på stranden. Rummen var rena, stora och luftiga, härlig att man kunde sitta ute på sin lilla altan. Poolen var trevlig och det fanns alltid solstolar lediga. Frukosten var helt ok, finns en meny som man får välja mellan. Stranden som ligger nedanför hotellet var lugn och fin. Nära att gå till restauranger och butiker. Hotellets chaufför som vi anlitade två gånger är helt fantastisk, hon berättar och tipsar om sevärdheter. Sängarna i två av tre rum var hårda och osköna.

Great staff, amazing food & cocktails, peaceful - Beautiful bungalows almost on the beach front but to us it was perfect as there’re so much greens garden and trees right in front. Very quiet and clean. Food was amazing and swimming pool just thumbs up for the lazy relaxing when we don’t fancy sticky sandy beach 🏖️. The selection of breakfast were great. No food wasted as you order what you wanted from the menu ( 6 options were plenty for us as we were going through everything in 10 days staying) better than buffet as it’s made for you. Staff were very attentive specially Bee is at the front of the house who speaks very good English and would help you with anything. Not the hotel’s fault but the government district has decided to build the ugly green wall right in front of the hotel’s beach
• Emmett (10/5): Highly recommend for a Lanta trip! - This place is next level amazing, staff couldn’t be nicer, pool is ideal, can walk to the beach from the hotel despite previous comments saying you cannot! Breakfast is 10/10 and the food in general is so good, great location, comfy rooms, cannot fault this place
• Corinna (8/5): - Sauber, jeden Tag neue Handtücher und Kopfkissenbezüge. Der Strandabschnitt vor der Tür sollte täglich gereinigt werden, sehr viel Plastikmüll, wo für das Hotel natürlich nichts kann.
• Astrid (10/5): Top Hotelanlage, sauber, gepflegt, bestes Personal und top Lage 👌🏻👌🏻 - Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und in sämtlichen Belangen hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer mit Gartenblick war geräumig, Kühlschrank im Zimmer, saubere und schöne Sanitäranlagen. Poolbereich sehr sauber und mit einem Wasserfall ausgestattet, Liegen ausreichend vorhanden und stets kostenfreie Poolhandtücher. Restaurant ist im Außenbereich und das Essen bestens. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Auswahl vom Frühstück war für uns nicht ausreichend, sind aber genügend Möglichkeiten im Ort.

• Elise (9/5): Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. - Excellent accueil par les employés de l’hôtel. La chambre était très bien, assez grande. L’emplacement est incroyable, à deux pas de la mer et très bien situé sur l’île. Le petit déjeuner manquait de modernité et d’options sucrées.

The shower was awkward to use - the wall holder would be better on the other wall so it doesn't point at the toilet. Unfortunately, due to the design of the sliding doors and semi-detached rooms, we were unlucky and got neighbours who sat on the veranda smoking all evening which meant we had smoke coming into our room and didnt sleep well due to this and the noise. On our final night we had new neighbours and slept much better!

• Ralf (9/5): Wir hatten im Lanta Il Mare einen wirklich tollen Urlaub - Die Anlage war wie ein Garten angelegt. Sehr gepflegt. Direkter Zugang zum Strand war über eine kleine Brücke möglich. Gastronomie im Haus und in der näheren Umgebung gut vorhanden. Das Frühstück im Haus war a la Carte, eine kleine Auswahl mit unterschiedlichen Variationsmöglichkeiten. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Es gab die Möglichkeit einen Scooter direkt an der Rezeption zu mieten, was wir gern in Anspruch genommen haben. Da fällt mir nichts ein.
• Anna (10/5): Perfect for holiday with kids - We came here on a last minute booking because the place we originally booked was filled with cockroaches! Traveled with kids and had the family apartment by the pool. Immediately when arriving we felt more relaxed here, the staff were absolutely amazing, location is perfect, beach is much better than at long beach. Restaurant pretty good and fair prices, but other good options close by. Had a lovely 9 days here. Would 100% stay again. Everything was perfect!!!

La seule chose a faire attention c est que l hotel est en front de mer et qu il y a une distance entre les chambres et la plage(canal qui passe devant et la promenade a pied).On pensait etre directement sur la plage... Mais cela ne nous a pas derange par la suite et ne remet pas en cause l excellence de l etablissement

• Ted & Joy (10/5): Fabulous Lanta IL Mare Resort - A fabulous Peaceful Resort. ..From the time we arrived the staff , especially Bee, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms where very clean and sheets, towels replaced daily. We enjoyed eating in the Resort Restaurant and we found the prices very reasonable . We used the Resort taxi for a trip to Lanta Old Town and it was so easy to message Bee later in the day to arrange a return pickup. We Highly recommend Lanya IL Mare and would definately revisit if we return to Koh Lanta.. Once again Special thanks to Bee and all the team . Being picky but hand towels would be a nice addition in the bathroom
• Nathalie (7/5): Heerlijk bij t strand - Prima huisje met veranda van waaruit we de zee konden zien. Zwembad is prima maar wij zijn eigenlijk alleen op t strand geweest. Strand is lang breed en met allemaal leuke en lekkere eettentjes. Beetje oubollig

J’ai pris une heure ma petite fille de 3 ans avec moi pour se baigner dans la piscine ils m’ont demandé de la sortir car elle ne faisait pas partie de l’hôtel. je trouve ça inadmissible.

• Margaret (9/5): Wonderful stay - Lovely resort with beautiful ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff are incredibly helpful and truly go out of their way to ensure a great stay. One of the best conveniences is having scooter rentals available right on the premises, which makes exploring the island effortless. The location is also excellent, as it is just a short walk to a great beach for swimming. We really enjoyed the great breakfast included in the package each morning. While the water here isn't quite as blue as other parts of Thailand we explored, it is still super nice.

• Inga (5/5): - I realize that I’m partly to blame for booking the room too late, so we ended up with a room above the garage overlooking the arrival area. Other guests were staying in the resort, while we were basically above the garage. Well, the positive side is that at least we weren’t actually in the garage :) I didn’t like the sunbeds or the umbrellas by the pool – they smelled strongly of plastic. I also didn’t like the beach area directly by the hotel. Each time we wanted to enjoy the beach, we had to walk a bit further, so at least it was nice that there were other places nearby where we could go and enjoy the sea. Breakfast is limited to choosing just one dish. And what I found quite funny – especially in Thailand – is that you can choose only one fruit: one banana, or some watermelon, or melon… in Thailand! And the juice tasted like it was made from powder.
• Jonathan (10/5): A quiet beautiful relaxing getaway right on the beach. Amazing. - The staff were amazing. Bee was wonderful and it was great to see Don with his smiling face every morning. The resort sorted us with moped rental (which is vital and easy to do to see the island). We had a sea view bungalow next to the pool and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of regulars seem to come back every year and I can see why. Not that many kids which was a nice change. Food was amazing and really reasonable. We ate there for lunch every day and dinner most nights. Superb. Bar could stay open later. 10pm is quite early but there are lots of bars available a 5 minute walk down the beach.

• Det (8/5): Good location for holidays - Das Resort ist gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Innenausstattung der Bungalows ist auf einem älteren Stand. Die Möbl sind gepflegt aber benötigen ein Upgrade. Manche Bungalows haben sehr kleine Flenster und sind sehr dunkel und beengt. Sollte verbessert werden.

• Julia (8/5): Vernünftiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Gut Lage, schöner Pool, sehr freundliches Personal. Die Ausstattung der Bungalows reicht vollkommen aus. Nach einem Katzensprung über die Brücke ist man am Strand und dann ca. 500m von den ersten Beachrestaurants entfernt. Frühstück ist einfach, aber ausreichend. Die Holzmöbel auf der Terrasse sind so hart, dass wir lieber auf der Treppe saßen.

Un grand merci à toute l'équipe !

Au calme, dans un quartier très animé Petit déjeuner agréable et copieux. restaurant sur place. Massages au top. Personnel à l'écoute qui se met en quatre pour vous satisfaire. La plage à quelques mètres face à l'hôtel, comporte quelques rochers, mais très agréable à marée haute.

• Gregory (10/5): Wonderful owners and employees, nice facilities, get a bungalow with a porch facing the ocean, dining is the best we had - Well maintained, in a quiet place on the beach and a beach walkway to town, wonderful breakfast with 6 choices included, chef is outstanding with elegant dishes that could have a Michelin star, nice pool and setting, own taxi and motorbike rental, several coconut trees and flowering plants, nice beach and sunsets. Many private bungalows. Well managed by family business for decades. Staff are all happy long term employees. B and Ping helped us immensely by their thorough knowledge of the area and their candid comments about the best tours, best way to get there and what to avoid. It was like having best friends advising you. And, their fluent English was a huge benefit. They conversed in Thai to the tour folks and drivers so they understood what we wanted and needed. This is a great place. We met several people that go there annually. Nothing.

• Alexandra (10/5): Prisvärt och fräscht hotell med bra läge på mysigaste stranden på Koh Lanta - Fint, välskött och prisvärt boende med fantastisk och hjälpsam personal. Läget är perfekt, bara en kort promenad från restauranger och stranden utanför hotellet är jättefin. Det finns strandmattor och parasoller att låna. Alltid lediga solstolar vid den fina poolen. Rummet var stort och rent och frukosten mycket bra. Vi var mycket nöjda med vårt val av hotell! Lite hårda sängar

• Daniela (5/5): - Sehr freundliches Personal. Bee ist hilfsbereit! Die Unterkunft liegt nicht am Strand. Ein fast trockener Fluss, eine Promenade und eine Tsunamimauer liegt dazwischen, was daher ein ‚man ist am Strandfeeling‘ entnimmt. Die Zimmer sind recht sporadisch, ohne Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Auch sind die Möbel schon recht in die Jahre gekommen.

• Helena (10/5): - Henkilökunta oli ihana. Huoneet olivat siistit eikä vain mukamas siivotut. Sijainti oli erinomainen, lyhyen matkan päässä ravintoloista ja muista palveluista. Allasalue oli siisti ja kotoisa. Aamiainen oli hyvä, ja oli kiva kun ei ollut perinteinen buffet, joten tiesi ruuan olevan tuoretta. Suosittelen tätä paikkaa ehdottomasti kaikille! Kadun ääniin öisin kesti hetki tottua. Kylä kylläkin hiljeni pääasiassa aina klo 22 jälkeen. Sänky oli TODELLA kova, ei joustanut yhtään. Ylimääräinen tyyny helpotti hieman nukkumisasennon löytymistä.
