Good service by friendly staff, the location in the city center but too quiet and little bit difficult to find the shop. There was a cafe in front of hotel resto on parking area you can try it

• Christie (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was nicely designed and very comfortable. The staff were helpful, room service and housekeeping were nice. We had two very comfortable stays and used the convenient airport shuttle service. The laundry service could be improved if we could collect it earlier (if dropped off after 9am we could not collect until the following day at 6pm). Was not helpful for a 2 night stay.

• Devrim (10/5): Exceptional - My stay at Regantris Hotel was great. Clean and neat room with all amenities required. I booked the breakfast option, which was mind-blowing. There were many vegetarian options, including local Indonesian ones, lots of salad, fruits, desserts, and western-style breakfast options. The staff was lovely and incredibly helpful. The entire atmosphere was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay in Surabaya. Terima kasih! When back in Surabaya, I'll opt for Regantris again. Nothing to complain.

• the_musafir (6/5): Modern hotel on a busy noisy road - Modern hotel on a busy road, not near anything and with constant noise of motorbikes. Need to use Grab to get anywhere. Staff are friendly and the restaurant serves quite decent food including breakfast. My room was a bit minimalist. No fridge. The bathroom was badly lit and didn't have a working extractor fan hence there was always a damp musty smell.

The main road is noisy because of those endless motorbikes. My bathroom needed another spotlight in the shower and a working extractor fan.

• Gisela (8/5): Very good - The hotel is located quite central. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shower was very hot and powerful which I really liked. The beds were comfortable and clean. Good price for value. There was a little bit of mold in the bathrooms and the plugs as well as the switches were a bit dirty. But overall the place was ok.

• Vishnumohan (9/5): Excellent budget hotel - 2nd time staying there. Super accommodative, very nice staff. Do not penny pinch on amenities even though it is a budget hotel. Good location with some very good restaurants and cafes nearby. Less then 100k by Grab to get to the airport. Their lift seems to breakdown frequently. But not a big issue

• Sharma (5/5): Passable - The location was nice. Wifi was good. The room looks more spacious in the picture. The bathroom was a bit dirty and also we found the fresh towels had hairs on them. The bathroom had so many stains on the floor. And there was an issue with the AC, it stopped working in the middle of the night and it was so hot. So we had to turn it off and on again. The workspace in the pictures looks bigger than what we actually got. The desk was too small to sit and work on.

When we waited for our driver to go to Bromo in the middle of the night in the lobby, the staff brought us some water to have with our food. Good location with lots of good coffee shops around. The bathroom was clean, we got fresh towels daily. We had some stains on our bed linen and on the wall there was a hand-big redish stain. The room was okay, a little used up but the bed was comfortable.

• exander02 (8/5): Nice Hotel at Surabaya - Formerly known as Artotel Surabaya, the Regantris hotel is located athe heart of Surabaya which really give a great connectivity. During my stays, the hotel still under a renovation, I think to cjange the image from Artotel into Regantris hotel. The lobby it self is pretty cramped for reception area and restaurant. Hopefully it will become better after the renovation is finished. The check in here is great, quite fast and seamless. The room itself still maintain the Artotel esthetics with its mjnimalism and graphic wallpaper. The room feels nice and edgy. Cleanliness is perfect and electronics works great too. Improvement could be made for showers since the hot water supply is not steady and the water pressure is kinda low. The service is good and the staff really helpful.

• tyaandre (8/5): Perfect location with convenient room - I visited this hotel for four nights stay. I got the room on the fourth floor since only this floor that accommodate smoking room. The room was not same like the pictures in their website. A lil bit too “standard and old”. The services was good they have friendly employees. Unfortunately found some ants in the room and I didn’t know where it came from. The hotel located in the center of surabaya, so it’s easy for mobilizing. It also have 24 hours cafe downstairs that serve food and alcohol.
• VivianRivka (10/5): perfect hotel perfect service!!! - what I love is the people who treat you as a family never had this kind of service before i check in for business trip exhausted n looking for a chance to get in the room quite early i came at 11 am i didnt expect to have the room since I was reading the check in rules that, like all hotels does, we could only check in at 2Pm so when I did the registration process i ask to The lady that help me check in (if i’m not wrong her Name is Ms. Rere) is it possible to have the room like right now? and she said actually our check in time is on 2 PM but let me talk to the our staff. and after 5 minutes waiting she give key! wow ! this hotel is really cool!
• blossom495 (6/5): Nothing special, except the breakfast food - Perfection doesn’t exist, and Artotel Surabaya is no exception. I booked their Studio 25 room for a one night stopover with my family. I had somewhat high expectations, especially for a 3-star hotel. But I forgot what it was - a 3 star hotel. It is just average, though by no means disappointing. I just didn’t find anything that was worth a glowing opinion about. I have no complaints about its facilities, but what struck me was the fact that there was no lock in the bathroom door. I didn’t understand why (and I didn’t bother asking).. maybe because it doubled as a mirror sliding door? I thought it was a clever use of space, until I found the lack of security in the bathroom. Another thing was the cleanliness. When I first came into the room after checking in, the floor felt dirty under my feet. Like it was last cleaned a day previously. I don’t know what the housekeeping procedures are like in hotels, but if you know a guest is coming in, surely you should ensure it’s spotless? I decided to ignore it because I was staying only one night, but if I had been planning to stay longer I would’ve asked them to sweep and mop the floor again. Thankfully I left on a high note, because of its breakfast. I had the traditional food and I think it was some of the best Indonesian food options I’ve had, for a hotel of the same class. Would I stay here again? Maybe not, but I wouldn’t mind trying their lunch or dinner menu, with the hope that it’s at least as good as their breakfast.
• Kim-Hotvedt (8/5): Nice hotel! - Nice and clean. And very helpful personal. The air conditioner malfunctioned and we were given a new room right away. Good breakfast buffet! There was some vegan options at the buffet. Nice interior in the lobby.
• 163vishalw (10/5): A Very Arty Hotel! - I stayed at the Artotel only for one night but enough time to check out the place in terms of the interesting murals / artefacts that were on display. I quite like their style and while it is premium, it has a very distinctive look to it and hence, stands out from the crowd in a good way.
• fsadiwono (2/5): A hotel not worthy of a 3-star rating - The hotel room cannot insulate the noises from the road traffic at all. The air conditioning is not effective at all. I doubt very much anybody can sleep unless they take sleeping pills. The technician was called in but never turned up. The noise comes not only from the road traffic but from within the hotel too. Oh, one more thing: The buffet breakfast...., well, ........... I looked for a decent omelette but it seems omelette is a luxury item there.
• Vennisa (8/5): Comfort hotel - Only stayed one night here before travel back, less than 12 hours stay. Overall, the hotel room was decent and cleaned. Check-in process was smooth. Room equipped with all the essential amenities. There were few restaurants and cafes located around the hotel, also, there was in house cafe too. Need to reach airport in the early morning the next day, the hotel staff was nice and offered help to assist to call the cab. Overall, its worth for the value that I paid and quite satisfied for this stay!
• nartot (10/5): Great Values! - Great values, especially when you get promotion price, The staff was nice, really hepfull, and i really like their Whatsapp Staff, really helpfull. The room was good, but the air conditioner take some time to cooling the room. Overall, i enjoy stay at this hotel.
• taniatanggono (10/5): Worth for Everything - Been here for very short holiday (2 days, 1 night). Found the best deal (price) and just book directly. Location is reachable from everywhere (city centre). Room is huge, comfy, and clean. They have really helpful staffs. Definitely will come back during my trip to Surabaya.
• brianl816 (8/5): simple but comfortable - Booked the hotel at good rate and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The only issue was that the hotel was not very near any commercial areas so it required taxis or Grabs to get around.
• caesarbalinda (10/5): Enjoyable Business Trip - I was happy with my stay, this is a good example that you looking for in a chain of hotels. The rooms are fabulous and the facility are outstanding. The location is very strategic. Don't worry if you late for breakfast in the hotel, you can easily go to restaurant and coffee shop to find brunch which is side by side by the hotel.
