- Zuzana (9/5): Superb hotel with great staff - The staff is amazing: communicative, professional and nice. By default, their beds have duvets stuffed with feather (down-filled), but they were able to arrange a hypoallergenic replacement for me. The loby is gorgeous, with free coffee, water and hygiene products. I loved the decor and quiet, calm atmosphere. We greatly appreciated spacious room and bathroom, tea, air purifier, onsen, and coin washing machines - availability of the last two was also displayed on the TV. Just a very minor suggestion: not being able to open a single window in the entire hotel feels claustrophobic. Once we entered the hotel, we had no access to outdoor air. Even the window in our room was locked, which was neither at a street level, nor dangerously high, so it made no sense not being able to let any air in for 4 days. Onsen has a window to the tiny garden with fresh air, but it is blocked as well.

Location is great, centered to all major tourist attractions, easy walk to plenty of restaurants and nishiki market. Hotel area is extremely quiet, the rooms were a great size for japan and very clean and comfortable. Lobby has complimentary coffee which was a great treat to start your day. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Onsen (gender specific) was a great way to relax after a long day of walking. 10 out of 10 would recommend this hotel. It was a perfect stay! Nothing - it was a perfect stay.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal super freundlich. Die Lüftung im Badezimmer lies sich nicht abschalten. Dem entsprechend hat diese Nachts gestört.

- Anagha (5/5): Adequate, but overpriced. - Extremely well located. Not very far from anywhere we tried to go. Lobby is nice enough. Rooms are a good size, although a bit sparse. Bathrooms are outdated and cramped. Windows are blocked somehow so you may feel a bit claustrophobic. We wanted to try the breakfast but it didn't seem like there were many vegetarian options. Overall, i had higher expectations because I had heard good things about the Mitsui Garden brand. And for the high price we paid too!

Great selection of breakfast buffet and included a separate main breakfast options to order from to enjoy with the buffet. Our room was very tidy and design was beautiful. We also enjoyed the public women and men bathhouse which was a nice additional facility. The hotel has laundry rooms you can use as well.

- Petra (9/5): Great - The best moments for me and my daughter were the moments in '' onsen''. After all day long walking it was a really great way to relax. The room was nice with extra large beds and soft blankets. I liked the bath clothes for onsen and all the tiny cosmetics staff free for use. Maybe I would provide some additional big towel for the guests who like to visit the onsen more than once during the day.

- Phil (10/5): Relaxing hub for respite while on a busy schedule - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!! Their Nespresso machine was magical. The rooms were spacious and location was near some of our favorite gems. The property was quiet and well maintained. Extremely clean and in a great location.

The rooms were clean and quiet, and the location was brilliant for exploring the market. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The room had no windows. Which I suppose is to be expected for Kyoto.

- Zhihua (6/5): 地理位置太一般了，餐厅千万别信他们早餐的花样，华而不实！ - 服务人员服务相对好一些 这家餐厅也太脏了吧！厨房和就餐区居然直接连在一起，工作人员进进出出，厨房的门帘简直脏到不行，感觉一百年没洗过似的。最离谱的是，邻桌就是饮品区，每次去取食物都得硬着头皮强忍。让我特别不爽的是，早餐的鱼套餐那鱼竟然不新鲜，发出难闻的气味，我让服务员换一份，结果他们跟我来回交涉了好几次，最后还是我无奈妥协，换了炸虾，勉强凑合了一顿早餐。因为早餐券提前买好了，又不好意思退掉，只能忍着。等到第四天用完餐券，我们也该走了。现在回想起来，简直太败笔了！餐厅明明是很重要的一部分，四星级酒店啊，怎么连这点都考虑不到？我在东京住千禧三井花园的时候可不是这样，每次去日本都是选他家，就是冲着三井花园这个品牌去的。可这家店的地理位置不咋地就算了，餐厅体验，真是太不合适了……！差评！

- SciTrip (10/5): - I have to say I chose this hotel mainly because of the photos of breakfast I saw online. But still, I was amazed by the excellent breakfast every single day. You have the buffet with a great selection of foods (both Japanese and Western styles), and on top of that, you can choose the special plate (one of the four options) every day. They have a great selection of tea, too. I did not use the public bath, but I can see the happy faces of people when they came out. The room is a bit small, in my opinion.
