• Julia (8/5): Overall, a charming place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere - The staff were truly the friendliest people I met during my entire trip through Thailand – always welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring, which made a big difference to my experience. The pool, located behind the main building, is also very beautiful. Within walking distance, there’s a small, beautiful beach with a few cozy bars. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a stunning sunset in the evening. One thing to keep in mind is that getting around can be a bit challenging without your own transportation. To explore the island or leave the hotel more easily, renting a scooter is definitely helpful. The rooms in the main building are quite simple, but spacious and spotlessly clean

• Kinga (10/5): - Amazing team of super friendly ladies and gentlemen. We felt at home since our arrival on day 1. It's a beautiful spot, very clean, looked after and maintained. Everything works as it should. Pool/garden area is stunning and a place to be to relax, have a swim or get some sun. We loved our breakfast every day. It was our honeymoon and we loved our stay. We got a room upgrade for free and we loved the room too. Spacious, clean, wooden terrace to relax with a garden/pool view. It was great ❤️. We rented a scooter here, booked our island trips, as well as transfers from the airport and a boat to a AoNang for our departure. All in very friendly and respectfull manner which we really appreciate 🤗😘. If you are in Koh Lanta we highly reccomed Lanta Thip House. We had a beautifull time, thank you.

Die Zimmeraustattung war für den Preis nicht herrvorragend. Frühstûck könnte erweitert werden. Ohne Roller ist die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen. Derb Strassenlärm hört man trotzdem immer. WLAN funktionierte auch nicht immer gut.

It was clear that a lot of care went into keeping everything spotless, which we truly appreciated. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we felt comfortable from the very first moment. And of course the pool area is very beautiful as well and made our stay even better. • Tamás (7/5): Mindenképpen a belső kertre néző szobát kérj! - Könnyen megközelíthető , kényelmes nagy szoba, minden nap takarítottak , kedves személyzet . Sajnos az utca fronton kaptunk szobát, ami hangos , közel van az úthoz. A fürdőben meg kell szokni, hogy vagy forró a víz , vagy hideg. A reggeli ,ami menü választékos nem túl változatos és igazán adhatnának egy pohár gyümölcslét!!!
• Melanie (8/5): Klein aber fein - Am pool ist es sehr friedlich, es war alles sauber, personal war bemüht und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten erst ein zimmer zur strasse, die ist ziemlich laut in der nacht. Wir konnten dann für die letzten zwei nächte in ein anderes zimmer gehen ohne problem. Zimmer zur strasse sehr laut. Wenn man einen scooter mietet, muss man den pass hinterlegen, mir war nicht wohl dabei. Ich werde auf diese weise keinen scooter mehr mieten.

• Victoria (9/5): - Breakfast, fantastic choice of cooked, bacon, sausages and a variety of eggs offered. Also cereals and fruit and yoghurt and toast. Tea and coffee with real milk! You can hire a bike from the hotel, which is advisable as its a bit out of the way. There are a few restaurants about a 10 min walk away. A couple arguing loudly in the middle of the night! This went on for quite a while and was very distressing!

La dame qui semble être la gerante de l'établissement est très souriante et agréable. Possibilité de faire préparer un early break fast. Le rapport qualité prix (période de Noël) n'est pas concluant. Le petit déjeuner, sous forme de différents sets à la commande n'est pas très adapté (répétitif et peu d'option pour les régimes spéciaux). La qualité du petit déjeuner pourrait etre amélioré.

• Anne (10/5): Das freundliche Personal hat den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht! - Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war überdurchschnittlich. Das möchten wir wirklich hervorheben. Die Besitzerin hat uns geholfen, einen Mietwagen und sogar die Abreise bis ins Hotel nach Pukhet zu organisieren. Sogar als wir einen Tag mit Magenschmerzen zu kämpfen hatten, haben wir ein super liebevolles extra Frühstück bekommen. In dieser Unterkunft haben wir uns auf unserer Thailand-Reise am wohlsten gefühlt. Die Anlage und die Zimmer war sehr sauber. Jeden Tag wurde sogar die Bettwäsche ausgewechselt. Für uns war das Frühstück super - wir benötigen kein umfangreiches Buffet. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur Wärmstens empfehlen! Nichts

Gastfreundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft, Herzlichkeit und das berühmte thailändische Lächeln und der Humor. Wir hatten die Cabins zum Garten. Eine Oase und schön ruhig. Ein Scooter schadet nicht aber es gibt auch gute Restaurants fußläufig. Die schlechten Bewertungen hinsichtlich der Hilfsbereitschaft können wir nicht bestätigen. Die Gastgeber haben für uns Sechs alles erledigt an Reservierungen und Ausflügen. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

• Ray (8/5): Friendly hotel, lovely staff - The staff here are beyond lovely. Really friendly and kind people, always welcoming. They are always happy to help with anything. The views from the room are lovely, so much greenery! It’s nice to sit on the balcony and look out. We thought the location was good, it’s in the middle of the island so you can go north or south with no problem, if you wanted to try all the beaches as we did. There’s some really good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk, but this is on the main road with no pavement and very little street lights, so feels a little dangerous at night. Cocos restaurant gets a special mention because it was fantastic. The beach nearby is nice but the tide goes out midday leaving a lot of rocks and nowhere to swim, so we found other beaches were much nicer, like long beach. The breakfast food was good. If you are not renting a motorbike (we didn’t) it can be hard to get around as you are reliant on taxis. The hotel can recommend a taxi but sometimes we found he didn’t respond, this is the number of the driver we used +66 89 729 5237 he was excellent. A kind and safe driver, very fast with responses and fair negotiable prices. He even has a speaker in the back you can connect to and play your own music! The hotel helped us with laundry, which was good, and can advise on day trips which is useful. They also provide beach towels which is an asset. Everything was a little basic. Breakfast was fairly average. You choose one option from a list and the coffee is instant, you have to pay extra for latte, cappuccino etc. Though good, it was small. There is no complimentary fruit for example, which we have had at almost every other hotel so far. The rooms are spacious and brightly lit but also very plain. No decoration really. We found our air conditioning very weak and quite hit and miss, often it didn't even feel like it was on in the night. There is complimentary water in the room but no kettle or teas and coffees. The shampoo and body wash was always only partially refilled, meaning every day we had to leave a message or a sign we needed it refilled. Even then it was only filled a little, enough to last only one day. Though we did really enjoy our stay, when considering other hotels we have stayed in whilst travelling, and the price we paid to stay at this hotel compared with those, these things are worth mentioning. It is a nice place to stay but the amenities felt slightly basic to us.
• Matthew (10/5): My best stay the whole time in Krabi - One of the best places to stay. It is in a great location in the middle of the island so it’s not too far to get to anywhere. Thip and her staff are very kind and welcoming, it became a home from home. There is a nice and quiet pool area which is perfect for relaxing any time of day and Thip was very helpful to me as a solo traveller for arranging scooter hire and day trips. • Mike (10/5): Exceptional - The place was perfect and quiet with a shirt 5 minute walk to the beach. And a 15-minute walk go to the nearest shop. You can hire mopeds direct from the hotel, which makes getting around the island much easier. The pool is also perfect for those morning swimming

Felt at home our whole entire time here, from the pool, coffee, quiet balcony and super comfy bed with a smart telly to watch Netflix. But the thing that made our stay really stand out was the staff. From the reception staff who were always super helpful and lovely to talk to and most importantly the manager. Most people have this thing about managers being horrible and not very nice but the manager here is an absolute star! She is so friendly and super welcoming and a pleasure to of met and a friend for life. Thip we love you!!! Noting bad about this place.

Housekeeping everyday It's a little far from everything, 15-20 min walk to restaurants/coffee/7-11. But we rented a scooter to get around so had no issue with this.

It was like staying at a Homestay not a hotel - very nice. Nothing we didn’t like - only constructive criticism is the hotel is located 10 min walk from the restaurants. Therefore, it would be a good idea, if they had a small bar serving drinks, residents can chat/play cards before heading to bed.
• Andrew (8/5): Friendly, comfortable budget hotel with good pool - The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. Everything is very clean and well maintained including the pool. It’s not quite like the photos tbh - the hotel is on the main road and we had a roadside room the first night which was pretty noisy. Luckily a poolside room was available at not extra cost for the remainder of our stay, which made for a much better experience. The breakfast is a choice of western options with Illy filtered coffee. We rented a moped from the store next to the 7-11 which was great. The roads are in pretty good condition and most people drives quite slowly. Best beach for us was Kantiang Bay. Lots of shady options including deckchairs outside the Aqua Bar which I highly recommend - good cocktails and the restaurant attached does very good food. The bay is very pretty and a nice swim spot, not very busy and clean. Lanta Old Town also worth a visit. It’s really just one street but very laid back, pedestrian friendly and lots of food options - we ate at a place called Sunee which was the best food we had on the island. Also excellent for juices and sodas. I liked the hotel - but not the road, and the breakfast area outside is right next to the road with very little shade.
• R & J (2/5): - Ich setze hier ganz klar Preis-/Leistung in Relation. Ja, wir haben kurzfristig gebucht, aber der Preis von 125Epro Nacht ist unverschämt für das was geboten wird. Das gesamte Hotel ist geschmacklos eingerichtet. Möbel veraltet und zusammengewürfelt. Am Pool gibt es 4 Liegen, ansonsten stehen Plastikstühle am Pool. Der Pool ist winzig und das drunherum ist nicht gepflegt. Das Zimmer ist furchtbar ungemütlich. Alte Möbel, kahle Wände. Das Bad ist beim Duschen überflutet da es klein ist und die Dusche nicht abgetrennt. Wenig Wasserdruck. Der Balkon bietet keinen netten Ausblick. Die Lage ist nicht gut. Zu weit weg vom Strand, der ohnehin auf der Höhe nicht schön ist, zu weit weg von guter Gastro. Man betritt das Gemeinschaftstreppenhaus und läuft barfuss bis zu seinem Zimmer. Wir fühlten uns wie in einem ungemütlichen Hostel. Dieses Hotel hat überhaupt nichts einladendes. Die erste Nacht verbrachten wir woanders. Nach der zweiten Nacht waren wir froh abreisen zu können. Gegessen haben wir in dem Hotel nicht. Dazu können wir nichts sagen. Für 20 bis 30E die Nacht in Ordnung, wenn man nur nen Raum zum schlafen braucht und mit kleinem Budget unterwegs ist. Die guten Bewertungen können wir uns nicht erklären. Wir buchten kurzfristig, auch auf Lanta, ein anderes Resort. Günstiger. Dieses geniessen wir gerade. Es geht also. Das Thip ist noch teuerer geworden....es ist unverschämt. Ein Ärgernis dieser Reise und mit Abstand das mieseste Resort dass wir je hatten.
• Kevin (7/5): A little disappointing - Staff very friendly and were always happy to help. Lovely beach not too far away, full of bars and restaurants. Nice balcony to sit out at night. Clean pool The room was small and basic with no draws to put clothes in, so basically had to live out of a suitcase. Breakfast poor. When I asked if they had juice, I was told you had to pay extra. The beach with some great bars was 500m away. However at night time, there was no lighting and dangerous walking down the road back to the apartment Advertised a minibar, but they was none. This was only a problem for the first night as we got drinks in after that. The bathroom. No plug in the sink so you were shaving in cold running water. A bit of a disappointment but the beach made up for it.

• Mark (8/5): Very good - Lovely small, quiet hotel. Very clean and well maintained by the staff. Nice quiet pool area. Freshly cooked breakfast, choice of 5 options. Quite out the way, 15 minutes walk to the beach and main bars. Limited choice at breakfast, not a buffet.
• Deborah (10/5): It was fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Always a smile to greet you. Definitely recommend, even though - The staff is exceptional and the property is immaculate! The pool and grounds are beautiful and so clean Location is not the best, yet there are still a few restaurants and shops within 15-20 min walk. Could use a few in room amenities, like a dresser or shelves for clothes, a suitcase rack and hair dryer
• Thomas (3/5): Disappointing - Where to start with this place. This was not only our most expensive hotel in 3 weeks in Thailand but also our worst. Firstly I wrote to the staff days in advance making sure I could pay by card, then upon arrival they claimed “the machine didn’t work”. It felt like a hostel. No help with our luggage up 3 flights of super steep stairs. Mosquitos swarming the hallways so you had to run into your room. Very outdated and mediocre accommodation. Bathroom flooded and toilet right next to shower. Air conditioner leaked all night. The location is AWFUL. Middle of nowhere and you need a motorbike to do anything. Locks the front door at 6pm so you have to go all the way around the building in the dark. Just overall can’t believe it’s $100 a night.
• Andy (10/5): Thank you Thip House - Super friendly,Thip pours her heart and soul into looking after her guests, all the staff are kind friendly . It is like staying with family here and we only wish we had longer. Hope to return again. Also booked a Koh Rok snorkelling tour and also a ferry back to Ao Nang at reception and was good value. Also rented a moped for a few days and got some laundry done, all were good value and no hitches. Nothing ,would highly recommend this hotel.
• Kertu (8/5): Very good - The pool was nice and cooling, set under palm trees. It was very clean.
• Janno (7/5): Nice clean hotel and very friendly staff. - Garden is nice. Staff is very friendly. Rooms and facilities are very clean. Check out is 11am. If you have room with windows facing road then you can hear traffic noise. Breakfast was for extra charge. Price was very high (peak season and barely no alternative options on the island).

• Sophie (10/5): A little oasis, do not hesitate to book. - This is an excellent hotel. Thip really makes you feel welcome and like you’re the only guest at the hotel. The other staff members are lovely, which really sets this hotel apart. We stayed in the cabin room which was perfect for us. Right next to the pool which is like a little oasis. The location of the property is great. A 5 minute walk and you are on a secluded beach with some nice little beach bars where you can get excellent food and drink. There is a fruit staff, a coffee stall and a seven eleven all within walking distance or you can order from the cafe in the hotel. The beds are huge and very comfy. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked an additional one week stay which is a real testament to how nice it is.
• Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were incredibly attentive and caring. This was the cleanest property we stayed at in Thailand (even on par with or better than 5star resorts). The staff realy care about the place and seems like everyone does everything from housekeeping to restaurant to reception there so it has a great family vibe. Location isn't ideal because there's not much immediately around you (except for a medical centre in case you're accident prone!). The nearest 7/11 (inc atm) was 800metres down the road. FYI you need to leave a 1k deposit in cash. However you're on the khlong khlong beach side of the island and you can cut to the beach through one of the restaurants/bars (10-15min walk from hotel). Khlong Khlong beach is a bit more low key / relaxing than long long beach. They also organised car rental for us which was convenient to explore the island for a day. No alternative milks at breakfast, they only have cows milk so if you're lactose free you can buy little soy milks at the 7/11.
• Lauri (10/5): Delightful place to stay on Koh Lanta - Lovely hotel, helpful staff arranged day trips and transports for us. Food was delicious, prepared to order. Pool on site. Rooms spacious and clean. As noted by the address, this is a bit out of the main street. We chose to walk 10-15 min to restaurants sometimes, other times took taxi.
• Georgina (10/5): - Lovely hotel with super attentive staff, nothing was a bother. Helped us with arranging motorbikes, an excursion and taxis/tuk tuks. Located super conveniently to many beach bars, restaurants, convenience stores and massage parlours. Couldn’t recommend this lovely hotel more highly and the free freshly brewed tea and coffee in the reception for guests in the morning is a great touch.

• Rebecca (10/5): Great hotel in Ko Lanta - The staff at the hotel are simply amazing. Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool and it was spotless, comfortable and really quiet. Breakfast was great and the coffee is excellent (very important for me!) The beach is a 5 minute walk away and has some lovely beach bars at our end for lunch or dinner and you can enjoy a fruit shake in the deckchairs there if you just want to sit and chill. You can also walk the full length of the beach with more bar options. Nothing - it was really lovely

The best part of our stay were the polite, warm-hearted and hospitable owner Thip and her staff, who organised everything for us, like scooters, tours and our transfer. We enjoyed our stay a lot und would definitly come back when we visit Thailand/ Ko Lanta. -
