- David Murray (6/5): Sadly the towel issue coloured our first impression then the shelf collapse.. - Location and size of room. Bed comfortable and room warm.j Our towels were damp and u clean had to ask for them to be changed. A shelf was not secured props and fell causing some breakage

- Cathy (8/5): Good place to stay. - The motel was in a good location in Fox Glacier and easy to find. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen was very small. The television was frustrating as we could not seem to access free to air TV and could only access apps that you had to have an account for. Someone else was still signed in on the TV.

Extra handduk i ett skåp var smutsig. Wifi var svagt. Tv box var upptejpad med vanlig hushållstejp på platt tv och den ramlade ner när vi ställde en väska under skrivbordet.

Light from outside comes through curtains so room lit up while trying to sleep. No tea towel for dishes. No where for bathroom towels IN the bathroom to hang after use.

- Lori (3/5): Find Another Motel - You can't go wrong with the location in a tiny town like Fox Glacier. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The shower curtain had pink mold on the bottom. When I turned on the shower water, bits of black were coming out of the shower head. The rowels were worn and tattered. The electric tea pot was scorched on the bottom releasing particles into the hot water.

The only staff we met were some Chinese guys, who hardly spoke English. We had to ask several times to get our room cleaned, and even so the cleaning standard was below average (I don't think anyone has cleaned behind the toilet since it was installed!!). The kitchen is very small in the room.

Beetje een vreemd motel. De receptie was nog niet af en het personeel leek verbaasd dat we er waren (ruim binnen de inchecktijd). De badkamer was echt verouderd met afbladderende verf. Overal zaten vlekken en de hele vibe was gewoon groezelig. Snap niet hoe dit zo’n hoge rating heeft.

- Anita (7/5): Good size room - The room was large and had a kitchenette. Comfortable and clean. The bar nearby was quite noisy but was quiet after midnight. The fire siren for the local fire brigade was situated very close and was sounded the night we stayed. On the expensive side but this was probably due to the limited options available.
