The building was under construction during our stay, but even the construction workers were kind. This hotel is very centrally located so everything in district 1 is walkable if you’re up for it!
- stephan (6/5): Don't let the Koi Pond fool you - Don't let the Koi Pond fool you, this is a tiny, narrow hotel in the heart of the Saigon busy area- there is no calming oasis to chill in the back garden! The concierge was funny, to her credit, we had a laugh gave us wrong room twice, but whatever, the AC was good- but you cant have it cool for when you get back as you have to plug the ley fob into the wall to make it work- only 1 key... Saigon is hot and muggy. This place is close to the action and the big market, but on a very busy street
- vasil (2/5): - I need my money back.Hotel was disgusting.When i call them first before the booking they told me that in the price there is a breakfast.When i book over expedia there they told me that in that price i don't have breakfast and they put me in the room with no window ,no day light and the total size of the room including the bathroom was 100 Sqf.In the top of that by using a them bathroom towel i got eczema on my skin
- Kenneth (10/5): - Super close to ben thanh market, clubs, restaurants, massages. Has air conditioning, large bathtub for couples and wifi. Would book again.
- Paul (4/5): - Better bring noise cancelling headphones. Still won't help the building from shaking from the deep bass of the two nightclubs across the street.
- Francois (2/5): Noisy (very noisy) - Friendly staff and good overall location in HCMC. BUT the hotel is facing a very loud nightclub, so it is absolutely impossible to sleep if you get a room with windows on the street side. Avoid to book here if you don't have confirmation that you can get a room on the garden side.

- Lindsay (6/5): - Halo Hotel is in a good location close to Ben Thanh market and the walking street. Our room was on the seventh floor on the street side and was quite loud and bright all night even with the curtains closed. The linens were stained and there was a lot of dusk on the lamps. However, the AC worked well and the shower had hot water.

- Nicholas (8/5): Decent value hotel - Room is old and a little cramp. But for the price and location which is smack in the middle of the city beside Ben Thanh market, decent vaue hotel.
- Gaylene (8/5): Right in the action - Great location. Right across the road from the Street Food Market and Ben Thanh market is less than a minute walk. We had a balcony room. The room and balcony were great except for the fact it looked straight into other rooms from a different place and over rooftops. We had room 321 so if you want a better balcony, ask for a street view one 😉 Breakfast is very average. The staff are awesome and very helpful. Be warned, they will keep your passport for your stay unless you leave 500,000 for each passport. This was the only place who did this on our visit and we stayed in 6 different hotels.
- Mazlan (8/5): - It is budget hotel, location very good within Benh Tanh area and just walking distance, also easy to get any transport. Easy to get halal food especially for muslim traveller. Bathroom floor is slippery because wrong suitable tiles, toilet is clean, water tap is loose, tv not functioning very well, air-condition remote control not functioning, shower water pressure is good. On security aspect is very good because fixed with sharp iron spikes at rear side of the building. The hotel should change to use more good and quality door lock.

- AYU (4/5): ベンタイン市場に近くわかりやすい立地 - 2棟あるらしく友人と同じ棟に宿泊したいなら+5ドルでVIPルームに宿泊する必要があるといわれ、IVPに… 部屋はかわいい感じですが、浴槽の塗装が剥げており入ると剥げた塗装が付く。朝食ビュッフェなのに突然今日はセレクトメニューですと言われる。VIP ルームにランクアップしたせいでトリプルがオプションベットとなり、病院の簡易ベッドのようで全く眠れなかった。 などなど…ベンタイン市場のすぐ側なので帰り道はベンタインマーケットと伝えればタクシーで帰ってこられるので便利でした。 ただ、表記と異なることはエクスペディアさんにしっかり確認してもらいたいです。

- shizuka (6/5): 買い物目的なら便利 - スタッフはみなさん良い。笑顔で迎えてくれる。日本語可能と書いてあったのでこのホテルにしたが、日本語ができるスタッフは最終日のチェックアウトで会っただけだったので、日本語希望の方は運に任せるしかない。が、英語でもわかりやすい言葉でゆっくり何度も話してくれるので、英語コンプレックスのある人でも安心して泊まれると思う。（そういう私も中1英語レベル・・・。でも何とかなった。）ちなみに私は6Fでお湯がなかなかでなくて「出た！」と思ってもすぐに水だった。一緒に行った母はお湯が出ていたらしい。タイミングか？？私が泊まったときは西洋の人とシンガポール人が泊まっていた。朝食は簡単な軽食が選べた。フォーやトースト、フーティウなどもあった。部屋はシングル×2の部屋はとても狭い。セミダブル（？ダブル？）+シングルの部屋は大きそうだった。（開いていたのでちょっとのぞいてみた…。）歯磨きやソープなどはあるが、シャンプーやリンスは要持参。トイレの水圧は良好。立地はベンタイン市場の目の前。ドンコイなどへも徒歩10分強程度。サイゴンスクエアなども6、7分で、基本歩いて買い物には行ける。

- Verified traveler (8/5): Highly recommend to anyone going to HCM District 1 - I've stayed in many budget hotel 2-3 stars in HCM Dist 1 over the past years and I would say Halo Hotel gave me the most pleasant stay with the same budget. The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the center of Cho Ben Thanh district 1. The doormen are absolutely hardworking and the hotel staffs alway carry smiles on their faces. The deco of the room is high quality wood and matresses are pocketed spring matresses with pillowtop with fine threaded bed linens. The bathtub fits 2 person. the chambermaids does a good job of cleaning up the rooms everytime.
- MANUEL (8/5): Buena opción a tener en cuenta - Está bien situado, a pie de muchos sitios interesantes. Frente al hotel mucha zona de alimentación con puestos variados de comida y a cubierto. La atención del hotel fue buena, pedimos el late check out para poder ducharnos por la noche antes de coger el vuelo.
- Sanokanchi (8/5): Nice experience at Halo Hotel HCMC Vietnam - As I was arriving late (around 1am) to Halo Hotel I emailed them direct to enquire if there were 24hr facilities. I received a prompt reply from Miss Thuy who reassured me all will be well. Miss Thuy arranged a taxi for me from the airport and was met by friendly staff. The room was nice, clean and had a small balcony so I could smoke. A bonus. Breakfast was good which was included in the price of my stay. I stayed 3 nights at Halo and the staff were very kind and always willing to help with any enquiry I made. I would recommend this hotel as it is close to Ben Thanh Market and in the heart of District 1 in HCMC. Thorougly enjoyed my time there.
- Hartini (8/5): Great Location, Outstanding Staff - My sister and I stayed in room 622, climb a set of stairs from 5th floor to reach it. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom wall was completely walled in. The staff was all very helpful, smiley and always ready to assist. The only drawback is the noise that can be heard upstairs on the roof (the laundry/cleaners taking room amenities+renovation??). We could also hear continuous beeping sound which came from the other side of the wall. Overall, we will definitely come back but will choose a different room. Great location for shopping!
- Familie Luong (8/5): Behulpzaam personeel en centrale locatie - Ik reisde samen met mijn ouders. We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Het hotel heeft een centrale ligging. Naast het hotel is de Ben Thanh market en tegenover is een eet market. De manager Erica spreekt goed Engels en helpt ons met ons reis door Vietnam. Ze heeft voor ons een reisplan gemaakt en de interne vluchten en verblijf geboekt. Ons reis door Vietnam ziet er als volgt uit: van Saigon reisde we naar Nha Trang, Hanoi en Halong Bai. In Halong Bai verbleven 1 nacht op een cruise. Alles is geregeld van hotels, ophaaldiensten tot vluchten in 1 pakket. Wij moesten in de ochtend om 5 uur vertrekken naar de airport. Voor ons werd er speciaal ontbijt klaar gemaakt. Wij bedanken de goede zorg, adviezen en de vriendelijkheid van de personeel van dit Hotel. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.
