JOSE (2/5): - This place was run down. Broken things in the room, outlets didn't work, iron burnt and didn't work, the bathroom was disgusting, and the towel rack was broken. Guest sitting outside their rooms made it feel awkward. The whole building seems like it is about to collapse.

The room next to us was open and looked as if they were living there with cats. The replacement room looked as if there had been 40 years of coal miners taking a bath in the bath tub. We couldn’t stay here pictures on line are very deceiving. Also no lobby and no breakfast even though it stated breakfast.

Sign on window that said "no pool, no breakfast, sorry for the inconvenience" People loitering out front. Looked nothing like the pics. I refused to stay here and had booked with my airline miles so had to pay out of pocket for a decent hotel for my 3 nights in Statesboro.

The outside of the hotel was run down and times it smelled like marijuana. In the room it smelled, the sheets had holes in them and we ended up seeing a small roach on the bathroom door. Overall it was terrible and will never book there again.

The pool looks like it’s been overgrown for three years. Del@te this property from Expedia because it gives a bad reputation. This property does not deserve an Expedia listing.
John (2/5): - The property was in extremely poor condition and looked nothing like the listing photos. The pool was covered, but the cover was in disrepair and had weeds—some over a foot tall—growing on top of it. Inside, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed because it had no functioning latch, and the bathtub had more patch material than original fiberglass. The entire experience was a major disappointment, and I won’t be making that mistake again.
Michael (2/5): - The check in went okay. Once we got to our room though which was supposed to be a non smoker room it smelled like someone had recently smoked in it. Also, advertised was a swimming pool which was not open and also a breakfast buffet. When we went to get breakfast at 8:30am the lobby doors were locked and a bench was blocking the main entrance. Inside the lights were off and their was no breakfast. We also saw live and dead roaches in our room in the dresser drawers and under the dresser. I would definitely not recommend staying here again.

Burn holes in the sheets and comforter, the entire room smelled of mildew, cracking popcorn ceiling that scattered on the floor and bed, and ROACHES!! More than one, live and not alove, big and small. Also, now looking at reviews, the lobby has been closed since October, and since the lobby is closed, they dont serve breakfast, not that i would have eaten there anyway. Do not under any circumstances stay at this hotel, sleep under a bridge before you put your money into to this establishment
GoPlaces58397591069 (2/5): DO NOT RECOMMEND - We came February 28. Everything about the customer service was horrible. We came later at night/morning to reserve a room after speaking with an agent named angel. We got there and Indian man on night shift was extremely rude, and tried to make it extremely difficult for us to JUST reserve a room. We had the money already, and called prior to. The call line is linked to another Statesboro, or a general line. Also, NO breakfast, and NO open clean POOl. He was in the back doing god know what’s and was irritated we came. Also made it an issue being we were under 21… to also prevent us from booking. (Most motels/2 star hotel allow you to check in at 18). The other motels had no issue with age being we were over 18. Furthermore, the other Super 8’s clarified it was OK to check in at 18.. yet I was 20 and turned 21 in a month or two..Not to mention we walked by foot to get there due to our situation. He personally choose to make it an extra problem. Very suspicious demeanor that made us UNCOMFORTABLE, do NOT recommend!

The tub is very Big, which is Good to bathe in when Your Back hurts. Bed is very Comfortable and the Pillows are very Fluffy.

It was so old that I could feel the springs in it and it creaked everytime I moved. The walls are so thin you can hear everything above you and on either side. Also they are rentivating the lobby and breakfast area. So if your expecting a quick bite before you check out that's not happening. Which is not mentioned on the website. If your looking for a cheap place to lay your head down for a few hours and grab a shower then this will work otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
BJORN (6/5): Get what you paid for.. Pay somewhere else - If you're looking for a cheap place to lay your head.... I guess this is it. 2 flat pillows, 2 small towels. They hung 3.wash rags as hand towels. When asked housekeeper for more she said no hablar Espanol l. When I spoke Spanish she walked away. Bring your own pillows, towels, blankets to this place. Only good thing was the toilet paper. I get hotels are expensive during college games but dang man come on. At 2 am I went to my car and 3 youths started asking me for money to go to the store.

The management HAD to have seen what was going on because those people's room was visible to the facilities' security cameras. Felt unsafe.

The staff was not friendly except a couple of house keepers. When I booked it said free breakfast, there was no free breakfast, they should have mention that as well. Saturday night, the room next door played music all night and could not get through to the front desk, just a horrible stay.

The workers that they have working here have been here for a year and a half and has stated to us numerous of times that the lobby has been shut down since they have been working here they offer continental breakfast however it is not provided Due to the lobby being closed for updating property, but it’s been shut down for a year and a half. We have been here with two crews three rooms and they don’t even offer a weekly rate for us for being on storm work. I do not suggest this property to anyone they are knocking on the door at 11:00 AM to see if you’re gonna pay your payments knowing we have not failed to make a payment yet.

There was mold at the inside top of the door leading to the outside. Toilet was sticky from a cleaning product, as well as the bathroom floor. D7453PIbens (2/5): The worst Wyndham property I have stayed in - Bed is average. WiFi was fine. Everything else is severely lacking. When I arrived signs said the lobby and pool were closed for maintenance. We had to stand in line at an outside window. I was told the handicap room we booked was out of order but they would put us in a ground floor room. My friend has a prosthetic leg and can’t climb stairs well. The room was atrocious. The bathroom was too small for him to safely more around. The leg on the TV was broken so you either had to view it lopsided or pointing down at an odd angle. Everything in the room was old an abused. Some lampshades were broken, The bath/shower had putty all over the bottom. There was no coffee machine however there were paper coffee cups. No breakfast was provided because the lobby was closed. When I turned in the key the attendant didn’t even look up from his book. I just dropped it on the counter. I will never stay there again. I’m a Wyndham Diamond member and expect more value for my points

Johnny (2/5): - This is, unquestionably, the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in.They originally put me in a room that smelled like cigarettes had been smoked, recently. There were cigarette burns in the bedspread. I took pictures for later. I went down to the office to see about getting another room. I asked if the room, I was given, was non smoking. Sir, all of our rooms are non smoking. It smelled like people smoked in there, like it was their job. I asked if she had ever been in room 205 and she said no but she would go and check it out. When she went in, she said that they can't be responsible for other people smoking in the room and that she wouldn't charge me for the damage to bedspread. Really?? She did give me another room, which anlso had cigarette burns in the bedspread. I showed them to her as well and again she assured me that I would not be charged for them. She said there were no more rooms and I'd have to take this one. I didn't have time to argue and the whole town was out of vacancies, so I left for the event that I was in town for. Several hours later, I returned to room and pulled back the sheets, to find what looked like blood stains on them. I brought this to managers attention, and she asked me which sheet so she would know which to replace. I said, how about all of them? Then she asked me if I could change the sheets, myself.I said of course. I asked if there could be some kind of discount offered or refund, now for all of this craziness and she said no and left.

I had to scramble and find another hotel, on a game day, and I paid over double for the same day booking. I EXPECT A FULL REFUND!!

James (6/5): - Older Super 8 with a little bit of update, convenient to Georgia Southern U. None of the advertised facilities available, pool closed, breakfast closed. Very noisy other guests.
LaShanda (2/5): - This property should be condemned. It’s dirty, the comforter had wholes in it, dusty, there were roaches in there and the shower didn’t work. None of the outlets work and the room smelled horrible. Never staying there again
