Guest Reviews
- Caroline (8/5): - Good location in center of town, rooms were clean and fine, parking was easy and the location was convenient.
- michael (10/5): Nice stay. - A very pleasant stay. very clean and comfy. all we expected with no surprises. good value for off season rate, wouldn't want to pay too much more. staff were very nice, kind and accommodating. we would stay here again.
- Donald (8/5): - well located, easy to walk around
- Anthony (10/5): - Delightful experience. The desk lady was so sweet and funny. The place was comfortable and cozy and clean.
- Robert (8/5): - large room, comfortable bed
- Lynn (10/5): Family stay - Good location. Lots of parking. Comfortable room with good curtains.
My family and I had 3 rooms next to each other. Fun!
- Patricia (8/5): Ok stay - Adequate accommodation but fan not working.
- Danny (8/5): - Roomy
- Terry (8/5): - Good place to stay
- Roger (10/5): - All good
- Magel (10/5): - Everything met our expectations.
- Geoff (8/5): - The location was excellent only a short walk to everything in town from restaurants, cafes and liquor store (across the road). Ample parking and easy access to the room. Good internet and the bed was very comfortable and well maintained by room staff. Coffee machine was a nice touch. Excellent management and extremely helpful. On the downside it was a bit old but some might find that quirky. The toilet was made for K-3. A small child would find it about right for size. If you have new knees you might be OK.
- Naveed (8/5): - Clean room, friendly staff
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Overall, things are good.
Small items: No electrical outlet near the nightstand to plug in medical item needed during sleep, or cell phone. It would help to have it.
Lots of tv channels but no apparent way to select closed captioning.
- Cecilia (8/5): - The check in was very quick and easy. Dario and Lydia are very warm and friendly. This is not a glitzy, fancy place but our room was very clean and well maintained. There was a fridge and coffeemaker, with coffee pods and lots of outlets for your various devices. Overall, the feel of the place is comfy and cozy. Lots of great dining options within walking distance.
- Fan (8/5): - Good location, free parking, a bit expensive
- Denise (8/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable, however, the sound carried down from the floor above us.
- Dennis (10/5): - Very neat and staff is family. Owned since the late 70’s
- Krysia (8/5): - Thevroom is very spacious and accomodates a king bed. The room is well appointed. Doesn't seem to have air conditioning but the windows open and a nice breeze. Restaurants within walking distance.
- Joanne (10/5): - The staff was friendly, and the property was clean and centrally located.
- Japjeet (10/5): - Would love to be back! Wonderful customer service and better than any motel!
- Ellen (8/5): - Convenient
- Judy (6/5): - Very nice host... Comfortable clean room and bed... Sadly the coffee machine didn't work.. the room needs airing..
- Paula (6/5): - No AC. One bed missing bottom sheet. Chute (laundry) by our room and very loud. No deadbolt on our door (but were on many others). A wrapper under one of the beds (indicator of cleaning thoroughness). OK overall.
- Sarah (6/5): - Rooms are clean but basic. Too expensive for an older basic motel. Found something way cheaper for next trip out.
- Debra (10/5): - Clean, well maintained, quiet
- Nancy (8/5): - The convenients of the location
- Maria Regina (10/5): - Check-in was smooth! Staff is friendly and helpful. We were allowed to get in 30 mins before check in time.
- scott (10/5): - Perfect my needs
- Raquel (6/5): - This property was on but very dated. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Mark (10/5): - I'll be honest but as I was coming to a motel I wasn't expecting much. Nice surprise, a spacious room, very bright, big windows, everything seems new. Very clean too, the staff are all nice and friendly.
- Nancy (6/5): - No air conditioning, fan, or screen on the window. Price is very excessive for the value.
- wesley (10/5): - Great place nice and clean good condition
- Josie (8/5): Great for nature's lovers - We had room 123, which is down and on the cool side
Room has no AC, which is important to know.
Place is a bit worn out
Many lights were blown and the power switches do not all work, also there was no screen on the window, which was stressing me out
That being said, the bed was super comfortable and I'm ultra picky
It's expensive for a motel but even with all the negative I said, we actually loved the place.
It has a lot of charm and it's well located
There is a lot of crows which I ADORED
- Brenda (10/5): - Great location
room spacious clean
owners friendly and available
- Suzanne (10/5): Great place - Excellent motel. Very clean , very comfortable and would stay again
- Anisha (6/5): - Very standard motel at the beautiful town of Ucluelet. It's at the centre of Ucluelet with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Location is very convenient.

- Jennifer (10/5): - A lovely and very well kept motel. Extremely clean. We will return!
- Yuko (10/5): - A nice clean room, in a good neighborhood with lots of options for food. The TV in the room had a terrible sound system but other than that everything was awesome! We got there a bit early but they let us check in right away. We enjoyed our stay!
- scott (10/5): - A big room, great location
- Brandon (10/5): - Family owned and operated. You won’t find many places left like this. The care and pride of ownership really shows. They do all the little things right. Thank you for the stay. We will be back.
- Darryl (8/5): - I know it's a destination hotel but overpriced. Noisy prople downstairs all night. And you can't get into the shower ,unless your a contortionist
- Josh (6/5): - Nice clean rooms.

Thank you.
- Marc (10/5): - Nice view of the mountains and the water
- larry (10/5): - Great location and friendly staff
- Artie (8/5): - Great location close to important things like restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and access in & out of town. Property was well maintained and staff was helpful for whatever we needed. The only complaint (which applies to nearly ALL hotels/motels) is the comforter. If you go camping, you never rely on only one heavy layer for a jacket. You LAYER your clothing so you can peel off or put on as you need to. Why has every hotel in the world gone to the comforter on top of a sheet? For summer, the comforter is always too hot. Which means it's either on or off--there's no in between. Women are the only ones who like this method.
- Desmond (6/5): - Room door was a passage way locj, not very secure. No additional pillows, window hard to open. Noisy people above room
- Alexandra (10/5): - Clean
- Michael (10/5): Weekend fishing - Wonderful place, the front office staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming.
- XXX (4/5): - Not good. No air conditioning specially during summer. No microwave. Very poor conditions.
- Abbigail (8/5): - I like how affordable it is and how everything is nearby. Very friendly staff too and they keep your room clean!
- Grace (10/5): - Staff were outstanding: friendly and kind. I arrived late for check-in due to circumstances out of my control and they still accommodated me. They also gave me a practical suggestion for transportation (to use the bus/public transit) to save money. I travelled alone but felt safe, and would stay here again.
- Robert (10/5): Quiet stay - Great location. Quiet. Good selection of places to eat, close to the hotel. Co-op grocery store near by.
No AC but nights are cool - opening the window helps.
- Douglas (10/5): - Great location accommodating staff came late and they worked with us and we're friendly
- Kirsten (8/5): - Good location. Could walk around town.
- Farshid (8/5): - The motel was in a very good condition .
- Suzanne (10/5): Pacific Rim Getaway - Very nice clean up-to-date room. Could use a screen for the window and better secure door. Bed seemed to be low at the headboard end. Overall a great stay. We would go again.
- Melissa (8/5): - It is an older property, but well maintained and clean. The rooms are large and easily accommodated our family of 4.
- Barbara (10/5): - The motel was super clean, owners friendly, walk to meals and shops. Walk to water close by and short drive to amazing coast scenery. Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable.
- Khayrul (10/5): - Good
- Carol (10/5): - We really appreciated the newly updated room. Was so clean and much attention to details like adding a small table and extra chairs. Having enough accessible plug ins for all our devices. Lovely linens. Easy parking and room access. We would love to come back. Thank you to the friendly staff as well.
- Penelope (6/5): - It was a very basic place, bed soft and wearing out but nice cotton sheets.A keurig but while they replaced towels we didn’t need, they didn’t leave coffee pods or the facecloths we did. No air conditioning but window opened. Very happy there was a fridge.
- jody (10/5): - Very clean & quiet. Great location for walking around town or driving to Tofino & the Pacific Rim National Park. Nice selection of independent shops, restaurants & coffee shops.
- Obidul (10/5): - Very clean and large room. I stayed at the ground level.
- Amber (10/5): - Nice stay. Great location
- Parvez (10/5): - Good value for money
- Valencia (10/5): - A nice place to stay
- Abraham (10/5): - Family run business
- Verified traveler (4/5): - the smell was brutal but atleast the bed was clean to sleep in.
- David (6/5): - A
- Tiffany (8/5): Comfortable and close to everything - This motel was very close to a ton of restaurants in walking distance. Was a very comfortable 3 day stay with easy access to Tofino (about 30 mins drive). Comfy beds, room service and loved that there were plates, cups and cutlery for the times we brought food back (microwave and fridge too! Only complaint is that it was pretty noisy with neighbors walking above us, and also noisy with trucks passing at 6:00-7:00 a.m behind the building. (Ear plugs helped with that)
- JENNIFER (8/5): - A good place to stay - we just needed one night on a bike trip. Mexican restaurant nearby was very good.
- Christopher (10/5): - Clean and good staff. Spent 3nights there. Gave us an upgrade to a kitchenette. Very nice!
- Isabella (10/5): - My friends and I enjoyed the cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet area and lots of cafe/shops/restaurants nearby.
- Spandana (6/5): - Y
- Veronica (10/5): - Great stay at this motel! The room was clean and the beds comfy! The guy at the front desk was friendly (even though we interrupted him watching the big game lol).
The motel is right in the heart of the city and we were able to walk around and explore the town and grab food.
Can definitely recommend if you are staying in the area!
- Joseph (6/5): - Building was well tended to
- Gregory (10/5): - Wonderful staff!
- Lindsey (10/5): - No fans in room and door only has a handle lock, no deadbolt or chain. Didn’t feel too safe. Bed was very hard.
- Rebecca (10/5): - If you can get a room with a view looking out to the mountains and harbour all the better, amazing vista from the room's window. Warm and clean rooms with friendly motel owners and staff.
- Avneet (8/5): - It is reasonable and good
- parvaneh (10/5): - It was great recommending
- Enulasiri (8/5): - Clean and quiet place with no hassle. Value for money.
- SU FEN (8/5): - This is a quiet and friendly place to stay, especially the owner is very welcoming and care about customers.
- deabra (10/5): - Our stay was good, beds were comfy and room was clean. Thats the most important for us.
- Christiaan (6/5): - Needs updating inside and out.
- Tyler (10/5): - Fantastic spot to explore pacific rim
- Dale (10/5): - Super clean and super quiet. Very friendly atmosphere! Would definitely stay here again.
