- Tamás (1/5): Scam, do not book - Nothing good I can mention First of all the rooms do not look like in the images. At least the ones we were offered did not match any of the uploaded photos. Besides being completely different they are extremely dirty. Nothing like a 4-star hotel. When we complained we got a second room which was the same. Mold in the bathroom, blood and other who knows what kind of stains on the bed sheets and carpet. Mold in the air purifier. Overall disgusting. After first night we just wanted to have breakfast which we were refused to have even though we paid for it. Heads up: if you are not Chinese you are only secondary here. Breakfast staff kept seating every Chinese guest coming after us and just told we cannot enter the restaurant. After complaining for all this they offered a third room but we just thought it would be better to leave. They promised a full refund which never happened. Later in a message through Booking.com they only offered 50% refund claiming we stayed 1 night. True, but the one night was still terrible and this is not what we agreed on. 50% does not even cover the unused nights and breakfast so they just ripped us off. Strangest part is the rating on Booking.com. It seems like after every bad review some noname accounts put in a 10 star review without any description. Don’t be fooled, also check on Google Maps. Avoid this place.

- M (7/5): good food, cleanliness is okay, staff is helpful. - breakfast buffet was exceptional, front desk staff are friendly and help a lot with directions and how/where to do things. I also liked that there was a free shuttle to Metroplaza and therefore an easy way to get groceries, go shopping etc for free as a non chinese mainland/hk resident i was not able to do laundry. I also feel like the soap/shower dispensers could have been a little more full

- Erick-Antonio (7/5): Dorsett stay - Close to MTR and shuttle available for most of the day. The room was small but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and laundry were nice amenities. Mattress on the beds were not comfortable. The breakfast offerings were satisfactory but chaotic hard to sit down and enjoy so we did not go the next morning. Too many ppl in breakfast area all at once.

The manager on duty that afternoon is to be commended for his customer service,he came to our room,called an ambulance,assisted my son &wifes needs,i was unconscious & admitted to ICU in the Yan Chai hospital. My family needed accom near the hospital,the manager assisted with this & had his driver transfer them & our luggage to the next hotel. The managers service was above expectation in this case,he deserves an award. Thank you, vaughn smith. When booking the pool was classified OPEN,on check in pool was noted CLOSED,very upsetting for our 8yr old son.

- Katherine (8/5): good hotel with good price if you are not in rush - I stayed at the family room with sofa bed on the 21st floor, with partial forest view. it is a good size for a family of three. like the room with air purifier, and there is filtered water refill station which is a plus. The room is very clean, and the staffs are very friendly. Special thanks for the Staff, Tony. He helped to arrange the shuttle bus, and help us to store our luggage after check out. Very professional service. Just the location is a bit remote. I have to take the shuttle bus to the Kwai Fong MTR. It is really a bit far to walk to the MTR to Tai Wau Hau by yourself as it goes uphill and downhill

- Tan (7/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The free shuttle service was very convenient. The self service laundry at 6F was easy and convenient - I like that payment was by Octopus. The hot water was a bit slow and weak, but it's still decent. The pillows are quite flat.

- Gilbert (9/5): Great stay - Houskeeping staff definitely! The aunties working there were so kind, friendly, helpfull and accommodating. Staff from the lobby (in charge of the shuttle buses and other transportation) and from the restaurant were also very kind and friendly. We did not encounter any rude staff at the reception; but they are a bit less approachable: they could smile a bit more and not make us feel we are bothering them. Self sevice laundry was a lifesafer. Moving of the laundry room from a bright area to a tiny closet-like room.

Unfriendly/rude staff, poor industrial-area location, no room cleaning during our one-week stay except Friday and they refused to clean, and the reception was always overcrowded and disorganized.

Pool was not open even though on booking it says it is open as of April ( apparently only as of May just after our stay). And that was the main reason we actually chose this hotel in the first place. Quite far in walking distance from any bus/MRT stations/ food places even though it did have 7 eleven downstairs but only open until 23pm.

We booked for three people and still were allocated two single beds, even though I requested a king size bed thinking it woukd be roomier . . I also had to ask for a third pillow so we could all have one each. Which i thought would be logical to provide. Annoyed at the buffett breakfast as this was included in our booking and we were paying for it however the breakfast facilities could not accommodate this . We only managed one breakfast as the line up to eat was ridiculous. This should definitely be looked at and I wish I could of booked without the breakfast to save the money I had to pay each day for maccas

- andersonpO855JD (10/5): Special Gem of the city - I recently stayed at the Dorsett Tsuen Wan and had an excellent experience. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly—every morning, the lobby staff greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. What really stood out was the hotel shuttle bus to the MTR station, very convenience and frequently bus schudule, furthermore, the 24 hours gym room which was fantastic, I also want to give a special mention to the lobby staff Tony and Dennis, two staff are knowledgeable and friendly, they help me for the directions, information and arrange our shuttle bus seats, very professional and politely attitude. Highly recommended!"

Rooms are not soundproof at all and you can hear full conversations with rooms next door. Paid $120 to do laundry and the clothes came out smelling badly. Machines say not to add your own detergent as they have some in it already, however I would definitely recommend adding.

- 957singhj (10/5): Out-standing Service - I am from India and came to Hong Kong every year for business trip, this is my first time stayed at Dorsett Tsuen Wan, although the location is quite far away from the down town city, but I like the atmosphere there, very quiet and the room is spacious, I would like to express my appreciation to the concierge manager Tony, he’s very nice and helpful, he was step forward to solve our problems, he also recommend us to access their hotel website for selecting the room types. Finally he reserved 2 large taxis for us to the airport, we will definitely to stay this hotel again.

Frühstücksbuffet mit ausreichender Auswahl. Eierbraterei beim Früstück ohne Dunstabzug, mitten im Raum; entsprechende Gerüche. Etwas beengte Räumlichkeiten mit Teppichböden dann eben auch mit Essensrestzen, Krümmeln..... insgesamt nicht so toll. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch nicht als zentral zu bewerten.

- Katherine (5/5): - Guest services available to help with booking taxis. Water machines on every floor. Fast lifts and very quiet to sleep at night (22nd floor). Plentiful breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. Only a 10 minute walk to the MTR station and plenty of local food options between the station and the hotel. Booking.com says the pool is open from April so we were very disappointed to find on arrival it was closed, and not open until May. We would not have booked this hotel if we knew the pool would not be available, given it was 30 degrees on one of the days we stayed. The property should ensure it's listing on all booking sites is accurate. We were surprised to find that our room lacked attention to detail by the cleaners. Lots of spillage marks on the walls, dirty carpet in the corners etc.
