• Alli (10/5): We got a good value for our money. - The hotel met all our expectations for a Hampton Inn. The staff was helpful. They had nice additional touches of bottles of water and snack bars set out in the morning for guests. There was nothing that I was unhappy about.

A movie theater, restaurants, a grocery store and many more options. Public transportation is excellent in that area. A lot of buses stop in that area. It is less than a block to the bus area. It is a great neighborhood and very safe area. Nothing. I had no problems

For a family of three with autism and learning disabilities this hotel is ideal. I can get overwhelmed with my autism. I did not feel that way at all. Very clean and well maintained hotel. The hotel has excellent breakfast options. There are just so many good things about this hotel. Nothing. The stay was great

• Christopher (8/5): The stay is comfortable and pleasant. - Staff responsive and friendly. Breakfast is good. Free bottled water is helpful for travelling on a warm/hot day. Wi-fi sometimes too weak. Air conditioning a bit noisy (but not excessively).

• jayyu1 (6/5): Good value for points redemption - I stayed here for a week using points. Diamond status was recognized at check in, but no upgrades or special benefits offered or expected at this class of hotel. The staff was gracious enough to allow me check in a little early, coming from an international flight at SFO, it was greatly appreciated to allow me to take a quick nap. I was handed a bag with a few bottled waters when I completed check in. The room is basic, but fine. The bed was comfortable enough. There was a desk, a desk chair, and a TV cabinet that also housed the refrigerator. The desk and desk chair were fine. The chair and reading lamp were a nice addition. The room still felt spacious enough even with the chair and reading lamp. There was a bench at the foot of the bed that wasn't very comfortable to sit on, more of a visual piece. The refrigerator in my room didn't work very well. The seals were not proper and it didn't get very cold or get drinks very cold. I did not use the TV during my stay. The closet was very small, but enough to put a piece of luggage. There were some included hangers. The closet had a very stale smell inside. The bathroom was fine - I was a little annoyed by the sliding shower doors. The doors didn't slide very well. Water pressure was good but it took forever for the water to get hot, maybe this was because I was on the third floor, but I had to leave the shower running for a good 3 minutes before it got warm at all. Although nothing was broken, the hotel definitely feels tired, worn down a little, and in need of a refresh. Location is good, with quick access to the 880. Union Landing has a lot of shops and restaurants, so there are plenty of dining options in the area. The parking, however, is horrendous. There is construction going on that takes up some spaces, but I can't imagine it getting much better even with those bins moved. Many nights I had to park on the Holiday Inn side of the lot - there wasn't anyone getting towed for this and I saw many other guests having to park there. There was a lot of double parking and fitting in wherever possible. Again, I didn't see anyone getting towed, but after 8pm there isn't much parking. Breakfast is basic and what you expect for this class of hotel. It's free, but nothing special. It seems that every day there is cereal, bread, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt, waffles, with a hot bar of three foods (some type of egg dish every day, some type of sausage, some type of potato). There was also bottles of water and granola cars to go. I didn't partake often during my stay but it was nice to have the option. During my stay, only one day did both elevators work - one of the elevators was not functioning during the entire stay. Halfway through my stay, both elevators stopped working, so I had to take the stairs. It took over a day for the elevators to get repaired, and even then, only one. The housekeeping was on request only, which was fine but a little annoying to see many hotels in the US shift to this model. This hotel is fine for points redemption, considering that prices of hotels in the bay area are absurd and this hotel represents great value. I would not pay the cash rate for this hotel, however.

• Betty L (9/5): Overall my stay was good! - The breakfast was great, enjoyed it very much, endless choices to select from, will definitely return again, the staff was very friendly, had no complaints. Everything was fine, my stay was very comfortable, I had no problems, even the guest was friendly, oh yes, one thing the parking wasn't the greatest, need to improve and maybe have security patrol the parking, one guest that stayed there car was broken into during the night.

Location is great for traveling, plenty of restaurants and shopping if you forgot something PARKING IS HORRIBLE!!! ALMOST WASNT ABLE TO PARK AR THE HOTEL I WAS STAYING AT. Got into our room first night and there was something gross looking stuck to the ceiling above a bed. The water pressure not too great, had to scrub to get the soap off your body. The laundry facility uses an electronic payment system that ripped me off twice.

A person can make his/her own waffles. I really liked their coffee, even the coffee in the room. The staff was helpful. Parking wasn't a problem. When a person drives near they should look for a small sign that says Hampton Inn. I would like a bigger sign. There is a shopping center within walking distance or 2 minutes by car.

• John (9/5): It is quite pleasant and comfortable. - This property is away from most of the retail or commercial facilities. It is therefore very quiet. They have limited parking spaces within the vicinity of the building. When it is full, we need to park away from the building.
• Monica (10/5): Great family trip - The hotel let us checked in early without charging a fee and gave us complementary food and waters which we loved after a long drive. The host was super friendly and even came up to our room for the tv remote wasn’t work fixed right away. The rooms smelled so clean and beds were comfortable the only thing was the bedding was bit thin we got cold at night but it our fault for blasting the Ac. The breakfast was yum and fully stocked. We will definitely be back at this location.

• duffbeerdude (6/5): Parking very limited - Stayed here a week in July/August 2025. Unusually cool for this time of year. Good stay overall. Took showers around 7:30/8am each morning. Most showers were lukewarm at best. Shower head built for basketball players (very high). My room was missing the ice bucket; my mirror had some damage on its frame; my curtain had holes in it; my friends room had an office chair whose armrest cushion was torn up; friends room had stain on lounge chair cushion. My AC worked fine and was controlled at the unit; my friends had a wall control. Towels thick, washcloths on the thin side. Breakfasts rotated between scrambled eggs and omelettes; sausage patties or large links cut up; fried potatoes or French toast sticks. And the usual other offerings each day of oatmeal, waffles (2 batters, large pour syrups, toppings), cereal (granola offering was new to me, seemed popular), cut fruit, yogurt, eggs, bagels and pastries. Breakfast area open 6-10, closed off rest of the day. Coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate available 24 hours. Too much competition between music and TV in breakfast area. Hotel located right behind Union Landing shopping center, easy to walk to; Cinemark Theater is closest building. Front desk staff on the young side; I don’t think I saw anyone there that looked to me over 30. They were responsive when we needed things. Housekeeping is on demand. Biggest gripe was lack of parking spots. Shared lot with Holiday Inn, but the spaces near the hotel were almost nonexistent. Many drivers parked outside of designated spaces, parked in the covered area near the entrance, and even parked along red painted fire lanes. Multiple signs posted tell you that you park at your own risk. I always brought in my belongings from the car, didn’t have a problem. If you arrive at the hotel after 8pm you risk not getting a close spot. I never parked far from the building so I don’t know how full the Holiday Inn distant lot got. Not sure if EV, accessible or special member spot parking signs are monitored or enforced. I’d probably stay here again if in the area.

I checked in and told the front desk that there is no parking in which they said I could pull it up to the fire lane. When I was going to move my truck (within 10 mins of me leaving it to check-in) I had a guy circling it checking all the door handles to the tools and truck. I set off the alarm and the guy ran off. I moved the truck, went upstairs and showered. After thinking about it, I told the front desk I can't stay there because of the attempted theft and left back to my jobsite to sleep in the truck. Not how I wanted to spend my night after travelling and working onsite all day.
