Jenny (7/5): - Location was great and apartment was spacious. In the common area on level 2 there was often food or rubbish smells. Sometimes fishy smells, other times just rotten smells. The fridge door storage trays were non existent. the ice maker fridge tray was non existent. The dishwasher worked but the soap dispenser wouldn't shut.

Tom (9/5): Comfy, spacious, free car charging and late checkout included - Amazing location, across the road from fantastic coffee. On site secure parking, free car charging and the staff gave me an all day late checkout without me asking as no one was booked the next night. Soooo good. Real service. Super comfy beds and a really roomy apartment that suited my extended family. Not much, couple of bits of spring cleaning needed 9like dusty mozzie screen in the bathroom) but really im being picky. This place this was cheaper than me renting a cabin in the caravan park next door, and way better in value and comfort so I'm not complaining.

Yvonne (10/5): Had a lovely stay but wished we had booked for a longer stay. - We had the 3 bedroom apartment. It was very well set out and spacious. Close to town. Walking distance to a lot of things. Only 1 little problem. We were 3 ladies that like our Tea and coffee. There was plenty of that but only 1 little container of milk. The lovely Thai restaurant next door where we had dinner. We asked where we could buy some milk. They very kindly gave us some. Next day went to find a shop to buy milk but couldn’t find any grocery store close to buy any food if we wanted to cook in t t he Apartment. Very minor problem

The apartment we stayed appeared to have relatively new furniture. The apartment was unfortunately not that clean. Curtains had a lot of dust and mould, fan/vent in bathroom was full of dust. The top was also quite dusty, perhaps it wasn’t wiped.

Was a humid weekend so it really needed air conditioning in bedrooms to sleep.

Peta (8/5): We would love to return to Northpoint Apartments but not in February. - Location. Size and layout of apartment . The aircon wasn’t at all effective. We tried opening the doors to the balcony but it was a hot and still night.

Alissa (7/5): Rooms were not exactly as they were advertised, we expected more and got less, they’re individually decorated so nothing - The location was easy walk to amenities, pool was relaxing and there was off street parking. Beds were comfortable. One small split system aircon in the main living room. The apartment faced west. It was cooking hot and the cold air didn’t flow into the bedrooms. We had to move the beds out to the lounge room to sleep as it was so hot and stuffy in the bedrooms. The washing machine was very temperamental and bathrooms smelt mouldy. Touch points were grubby. The common areas smelt funky. It was expensive considering all the things it wasn’t! We had to clean the apartment (take out rubbish and wash, dry and put away all dishes!)or face extra charges. This was not an air B&B, surely simple cleaning charges are factored into the very expensive price.

David (6/5): Great view but disappointing apartment. - The space. The view from the 9th floor was wonderful and the saving grace. No airconditioning in the bedroom. Meant for stifling hot nights and bad sleep. Need to install another air conditioner to cool the bedroom. Cracked basin in the bathroom. Needs replacing. Also cracked tiles in shower. Not good enough for a prestige apartment. The decor, curtains (ill fitting), and ambience is very tired. You can't rely solely on the view to attract clients. Needs updating.
Dianne (6/5): Some positive points but much room for improvement to furnishings needed. - 2 bedroom apartment.Spacious. Centrally located. Quiet. Great shower. Quick elevator service. Lounge very shabby. Dirty wall in the bedroom. Bed on wheels, no castors to prevent bed from moving on timber floor. Lounge constantly moving on timber floor as well. Poor window coverings. Extremely bright in the bedroom.

Marina (10/5): This was a perfect choice in where we decided to stay, it was only for one night as we were traveling back home from the - The convenience of its location is perfect, everything is close by and only a short leisurely walk away. The view from our room was spectacular. The apartment is clean and comfortable, this was our 2nd time staying here and would definitely come back again. The reception staff are lovely and checking in and out is effortless. We didn’t have any issues or anything to dislike about the property.

Robin (10/5): We were comfortable and would only comment adversely about the above two matters - All excellent BUT ould we suggest a few more long rails in the bathroom - not sufficient space to hang towels to dry. ….and, although it is lovely to look at, the glass topped coffee table in the living area is an occupational Health issue. Dangerous, extremely dangerous, as not easily visible. Insufficient rails to hang wet towels and the occasional table is a definite trip hazard

Perry (8/5): Great location but definitely an update of the soft furnishings would make the stay more comfortable - Ideal position. Reception staff were friendly. Ease of parking the car and unloading. The decor in the apartment was very old. The curtains were falling off in places. The bed was so uncomfortable. The lounge was also uncomfortable. A few more garbage bags and another tea towel would have been lovely. Paper towel is always a must. Pretty sure I left the apartment cleaner than what I found it. Time for an update !!!

Bronwyn (6/5): Great location, unimpressed with the standard of the room. - The location is great! Good place to stay with kids with the pool and table tennis. Comfortable beds and quiet. Nice balcony area. The room wasn't up to standard. We had no remote for the DVD player so couldn't watch the film we had brought to watch. The wifi kept cutting out or only worked well on one device. The receptionists leave at 6pm so any issues after this point are hard to resolve. The kids bedrooms curtains didn't fit and so there was a huge gap with light beaming in, we had to use a spare blanket to cover it. The kids beds were on wheels and very slippy so just kept moving around the whole night while the kids moved in bed. There was no storage for clothes in the kids bedroom.

Paul (9/5): Perfect place to stay in Port Macquarie. - The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping & swimming. Lots of parks nearby for the littlies. The apartments are roomy & well appointed. Plenty of information on things to do are available.

Anthea (9/5): Overall it was a great stay in a great location. - The property was in such a great location, easy access to restaurants, beach and the pool is nice. The staff are also lovely. The apartment we rented could use a makeover, the couch is very uncomfortable and broken and the bathrooms look like they haven’t been touched since the 90s. You could hear the neighbours next door through the wall.

Slight issue with shower head in main bathroom but was fixed immediately after informing the reception. Three bedroom apartment was spacious. Little outdated but nothing major

Joanne (10/5): A beautiful spacious apartment with great views, walk to everything! - Great location with spacious apartment and lovely views. Very safe and clean parking included Beds were rather soft and a couple of kitchen appliances were left very dirty by previous occupants. Another thing which isn’t really the property’s fault, is that it was very noisy early in the morning with trucks, road cleaning, rubbish collection etc.

Faye (8/5): Would definitely stay again - It is a great sized 2 bedroom unit with everything you could ask for. The position is fabulous If you stay 5 nights I would love to be able to get someone up to do a quick clean and new towels and sheets

Hilary (8/5): Enjoyed the break, can’t comment on staff as we were over Christmas period and apart from being me - The location was excellent close to the beach and the town centre Found the second bedroom, small cramped and no mirror. We were three adults, my daughter and her partner had the main bedroom and I the second one. As I am partially disabled, I found it very inconvenient to get around in the bedroom. Also, I was hoping the bathroom was en suite there was no mirror or chair in the second bedroom . As we were three adults, the apartment was more suited to have a couple of few small children.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well set up, with a great view that made it easy to relax. The location was excellent, close to the beach and local spots, yet still quiet and peaceful. The facilities were well maintained, and everything felt easy and stress free. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we would happily return. Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. We had a great stay overall.
