• Jane (7/5): Great location, poor servicing of the unit - Location was excellent and room was a good size and they were able to accommodate our 4 month old twins. The beds were very comfortable and the view was lovely The servicing of the unit was very poor. Some days nothing was done at all. After 5 days our bin still hadn’t been emptied and with the twins you can imagine the amount of rubbish we generated. The beds were never made, and towels were sporadically refreshed. When we mentioned this to staff they didn’t seem too concerned which was disappointing.

• Paul (8/5): Great location with beautiful views of the Bay of Islands - Great location, right on the sea front. Busy sea front road but negligible noise from it in the apartment. Easy walk along the seafront to shops, restaurants and quay, and a longer but pleasant to the treaty grounds. Beautiful views of the Bay. Room fittings needed minor attention - squeaky doors etc. Parking rather tight. Otherwise, everything was very good.

The unit was also quite spacious There were no towels when we arrived late at night. The worst thing was the parking. We had to park on the street most nights as it was too tight to get in and out without hitting another car or the fence.

• richard (10/5): Excellent stat in a super motel, wish I could have stayed longer. - Excellent location right on the water front and very close to shops and cafes. Room was exceptionally nice with separate living area, balcony, comfy bedroom. Mattress was excellent and sheets were cool and soft and really comfortable. Almost nothing! I couldn’t locate a kettle, but that might have been me. Shower slightly old fashioned but functioned well. I really wish I could have stayed longer.

• Nicola (8/5): Good unit with a gorgeous view! - We loved the seaview from our balcony. The unit had everything that we needed. There was a suitable car parking space for our vehicle. We expected room service to make our bed each day but didn't, even though there were no personal belongings on it. It would have been good to have had some hand soap in addition to the shampoo/conditioner sachets.

Die Lage des Motels direkt am Meer in der Nähe zu Restaurants und dem Bootsanleger ist unschlagbar, besser geht es nicht. Wir hatten eines der Apartments im 1.OG mit Terrasse und Blick zum Meer. Alles war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung war gut, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und kommen gerne wieder.

The living room is spacious with a sofa and chair so very comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfy too. The furniture and shower were slightly dated but perfectly adequate.

Walking distance to cafes, beaches, supermarkets and Pahia wharf. The room was very well presented and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make our experience even better would be an air conditioner in the bedroom as it was very hot weather at the time that we visited.

Host and staff were lovely, and happy to help with any queries Our 5 days here included some rest days and some busy days and both were great. Particularly enjoyed our rest days just looking at the view. The pictures were accurate and we all slept really well on the comfy beds. Ultimately if we visit Paihia again, we would want to stay here.😍 Nit picking: would have preferred the coffee etc being refilled rather than having to ask for more, and our bins weren't always emptied during the daily clean (again would prefer not to have ask) To clarify though this didn't impact holiday- and any requests were happily fulfilled .

Like always, I tend to bring my own water or buy a massive 5 - 15litre water from local supermarket as it’s my preference. My reason is that the water has an odd taste and smell to it.
