• Soemie (10/5): Fijn hotel, aardige, behulpzame personeel, goed en lekker ontbijt - Ligt in het centrum, van waaruit je makkelijk alle kanten op kan, er is een treinstation niet ver daarvandaan

• Dounya (5/5): - Overall it was okay, the staff is friendly The rooms are poorly cleaned, and that bothers me a lot. The walls are dirty, which is annoying when the bed is against the wall. The floor is dirty, there's hair all over it, and the sheets have lots of yellow stains. I sincerely think it needs a good cleaning.

Notre chambre était situé à l'étage où est situé le petit-déjeuner, ce qui peut entraîner un désagrément sonore.

• Meredith (7/5): Good - Great location, clean, aircon worked very well, breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again but never in room 323 - see the reason below. We were in room 323 - which was the worst. I have been traveling Southeast Asia for 7 months and this was the worst nights sleep I have had. The walls are so thin and every 30 minutes starting around midnight there was a loud noise like a door slamming or someone dropping a heavy sandbag that would repeatedly wake us up. This room also sits directly in front of the breakfast area. Level 2 technically is where breakfast is served but for some reason level 3 also served breakfast but at a different time. At around 5AM the staff started loudly setting up for breakfast by pulling tables and chairs around and then the amount of people that chatted and loudly ate there was also unpleasant.
• Paul (8/5): Clean new room not far from Gubeng train station - Room wasn't big (though big enough for me), but very clean and new - very comfortable. I paid for breakfast and it was definitely worth it - a brand mix of Indonesian, Chinese and western food - very delicious and plentiful.

• Philipenghoey (10/5): - Hotel 88 embong kenongo is located in a road next to the big road right in the middle of Town. It is within walking distance to Surabaya Plaza (5-6 min) and to Grand city Mall (10-15 min). There are lots of eating places around. The hotel itself is well maintained and the room has no Windows, is rather small but clean and has a shower cabine. The buffet breakfast is very good, lots of choices and costs only 50000 rp which is around 2€80cent. It begins at 6am and you can also get fried eggs if you ordered. Hotel 88 embong kenongo has a good price-quality and recommendable to anyone who visits Surabaya.
