• John (9/5): Comfortable, conveniently located motel with a range of units that were ideal our family gatherering - We booked the Lake House and four other units for a family event and they were ideal. The Lake House was exactly what we needed for getting together for meals and socialising. In warmer weather the deck area would have been much used also. Ross was very obliging and helpful in preparing everything for us. The location was handy but outside the busy central town area, and the lakeside path just over the road was great for walking. Our accommodation was warm and comfortable and appreciated by all. The spa was an added bonus.

The view from both sides was gorgeous, a lovely park area at th rear, and you can see the lake from the front.Sitting outside on the verandah just on sunset, was nothing more than perfection. I loved that we were able to soak in the spa pool, after along day on the road. I thought the bed was super comfy, and the room itself had everything I needed to be comfortable. Thankyou Ross, will visit and stay again, when I visit Taupo. I can honestly say, I didn't see anything I didn't like.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce motel il y a 9 ans dont nous avions gardé un excellent souvenir mais nous avons été déçus cette année par l'état du logement qui n'a fait l'objet d'aucun rafraichissement depuis toutes ces années ni aucune amélioration, au contraire. Aussi des ustensiles de cuisine qui mériteraient d'être remplacés ( exemple grill pain et casseroles décatis...).

• Marc (9/5): - The owners are wonderful! Location is perfect for a family with kids and dog(s). Big grassy reserve is out the back gate, the patio to the family apartment can be blocked off easily, the lake and lakefront walkway access is just across the road.

• Alexandra (9/5): Great family stay Lake Taupo - Comfortable with a lovely lake view from the balcony and from inside through. It's a good size and layout for family of four. Kids liked the trampoline. Friendly helpful staff - thank you! The bathroom is older so is looking a bit tired. But it's spotlessly clean and nice bath products provided.

Rained the night we were there but spent the evening at the Sailing Club right across the road. Nothing. It is was it is. Not close to town but we knew that.

Check-in war unkompliziert und das Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Kann man für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall buchen. Bei uns ging Mitten in der Nacht der Feueralarm aus Versehen los. Das war etwas unerwartet, sollte aber im Normalfall nicht passieren.

• Ursula (5/5): Siehe oben - Die Lage war gut und ruhig Das Zimmer war sehr klein, ich schätze 14 bis 16 qm. Das ging bei unserer Buchung nicht klar hervor. Es war günstig aber der Komfort war eingeschränkt. Zwar hatte es alles was wir benötigten, es war aber alles auf engem Raum. Geschirr waschen musste man im Lavabo im Bad. Koffer musste man auf dem Bett öffnen. Dies war unsere achte Unterkunft in den letzten zwei Wochen und wir waren nie enttäuscht. Diesmal waren wir nicht zufrieden auf eine Skala von 1 bis 10 können wir nur eine 5 geben. Vielleicht war es unser Fehler dass wir bei der Buchung zuwenig aufgepasst haben?

• Karin (8/5): Sehr guter Platz für einen kurzen Aufenthalt - Direkt gegenüber dem See mit zahlreichen Spaziermöglichkeiten gelegen. Wir konnten kostenlos die Wäsche waschen und aufhängen. Die Höhe des Duschkopfes ist für größere Menschen (ich bin 1,78 m groß) nicht geeignet.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Traditional style motel, immaculately presented, comfortable and clean. - Although the motel is an older style, the cleanliness comfort and maintenance was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the pillows fresh and clean. The shower unit although old fashioned and not very high pressure, was pristine clean. Couldn’t fault it. Couldn’t fault it.

• Leif (9/5): - Sehr ruhig, wenn abends die Straße weniger befahren ist. Man ist direkt über die Straße am See. Dort gibt es auch die Bar/Restaurant Two Mile Bay Sailing Club - super, wenn man nicht weit gehen will und Pizza und Bier sind lecker. 2.Tür nach hinten, wo man theoretisch auch noch sitzen könnte.
