• Joanne (9/5): absolutely fabulous - The pool was wonderful and the access to the beach and everything around the area was perfect. The hot tub came in handy after so much walking and we had started to climatize. Not really. The roof top is great as views were stunning and got the later sun. So central. People we met were all friendly as. The clubs were awesome. G rail and buses to get about amazing and east to use and so cheap. All 3 of you that we interacted with on the desk you helped immensely with directions loading the app onto my phone for the jolly flights and checking in. Def would come back and stay again. Thank you so much. I struggled working out the stove hob but picked up a man in the lift who came and helped me. Then we had a prob with the dryer but figured it was the water bottle that needed emptied (we did do the fluff) It was only after we got these sorted and I had searched U tube as well lol that I found the manuals in the top cupboard - were up to high for me and the guys never looked. Perhaps these could be on the bench on arrival with a wee name tag on that top cupboard to put them into. Loved the balcony's. Showers were good but blades to wipe down after use each time help keep clean. A corner shelf holder for shampoos etc would be ideal.
• Claire (8/5): Great location, customer service not amazing, amenities could be better. - Amazing location and value when you have several guests. There wasn’t enough toilet paper for 5 adults for our visit. We ended up having to take the roll of toilet paper out of the ensuite and using that in the main toilet. There wasn’t enough body wash/ shampoo conditioner for both bathrooms. There was sand all through the dryer when we checked in, had to vacuum it out before use.

• Doran (2/5): - The location is great. The building is well kept and the pool and spa area are great. Just a shame we had a 2 star apartment in a 4 star building. The apartment was dirty. Furniture stained,rusting or held together with cable ties. Beds uncomfortable. It really needs a complete renovation. This information was passed on to the management and we had a very positive reply saying that they would get on to the owner and get things back up to standard.

• David (7/5): Good. Not great. Luxe price but not luxury experience. - The location was excellent. Right on the beach and easy walk to shops and restaurants. The unit was rather cheap feeling in materials. The bathrooms were dark and had no natural light or air. The bedrooms had no curtains to block out light or heat. Only fans in bedrooms despite listing A/C. There was one wall ac unit in living room only, didn't help cool the bedrooms where you sleep.

• Rachel (6/5): Great location, room for improvement. - The location is exactly as described, beach front with great view, easy access to beach. Layout of the three bedroom apartment was great, with a super comfy leather lounge suite and great air con in each room. The walk in robe was well appointed. On the afternoon before arrival I received an urgent email from staff that I had not completed my booking. I was told I needed to send staff a copy of my identification via email before check in instructions could be provided. After a long day of travel I advised my arrival time for checkin and confirmed I would provide id at reception during open hours. I was told this was ok. When I arrived with my three children at 4:30pm, the doors were locked, the sign stated reception was open until 5pm. I had to ask a teenage resident for assistance to contact reception which took 30 minutes before a response was received. It was 36°C, we had groceries in the car, and was a very stressful process. The lady was rude and eventually begrudgingly gave me a code to get the key from the lock box and said I must return in the morning with my id. I have never experienced this before in all my travels. I returned to reception at 9:15am to provide id, however it was closed. When I returned a short time later she was rude and blammed me and booking.com for the process. The apartment on the most part was good, however there were ants in the kitchen that were getting into our food and in the rubbish bin. Only two coffee pods, dishwasher tab, one rubbish bag and two spare thin toilet rolls (not great quality) were provided. For a 5night stay I was disappointed. These small low cost items make a huge impact on impression and convenience which is an easy fix for the host. One of the frying pans was buckled so badly and coating damaged it could not be used. The coffee machine had not been cleaned and still had used pods inside it. The ensuite bathroom was very dated and in need of a deep clean. There was visible black mould in the shower, extractor unit in wall was dirty, dusty and black and the odor of mould was strong. On one occassion there were two baby roaches climbing the shower head. The main bed had one single lightweight waffle blanket that was stained on at least five areas.

• Louise (10/5): Beautiful location, great communication from staff. - Location is wonderful right next to the beach, it is a little walk to food and shops but lovely neighbourhood. Staff are great and provided really good service and communication. The sauna and roof top spa are fantastic and the pool is great too. Highly recommend for families. There are no curtains on the windows. There is a sheer which doesn’t block the sun. they do provide an alternative which is stick your own if you want them, however permanent curtains would be great!

• Nicola (8/5): Family stay - Excellent location (beach proximity, short walk to Kurrawa surf club/centre of Broadbeach/supermarket etc), pool, rooftop spa and BBQs, view from the apartment, apartment size, nice bathrooms, great storage/walk in robe, excellent laundry facilities, provision of toiletries, trollies to move luggage. An issue with the WiFi was fixed as soon as we flagged it. Overall our family of five had a wonderful time. No baking trays/oven gloves etc, cupboards weren't as clean as they could have been, extremely tight parking space/garage, beds weren't particularly comfortable and only a double in the main bedroom (but plenty of room for a queen). Ongoing works on the perimeter of the property (which according to our booking notes should have been completed on November 28th). Construction noise from next door (which we did know about but it really is very loud from first thing every morning, and often disrupts traffic into/out of apartment block). 18 hour power outage (only affecting the apartment block, not a grid issue) although this was compensated the next day. It would be great to have a couple of board games/similar in the apartment.
• Wendy (9/5): Great beachside location - Great location with a birds eye view of beach. We stayed on the fourth floor in apartment 13, closest to the construction work. Not a bother though, work only loud one morning. We were awake early and out all day so didnt really impact us. Pool smallish but nice and spa on the rooftop great. The rooftop BBQ area excellent and well kept with bbq tools. Super view from up there. A 10-15 min walk away from surf club where we went for dinner (Northcliff). A bit of a walk away from Broadbeach restuarants but easy Uber ride. Loved the beachside location and pleased with our choice. Beds and pillows very comfy. Nice new leather couch in lounge. Lots of kitchen equipment and coffee machine. Would stay again.

• Charlotte (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at Viscount on the Beach. Our apartment was clean and the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 children. The pool was heated which was a bonus when you have young kiddos. There was a rooftop area which had amazing ocean views and BBQ facilities. The property was in the perfect location with a short walk to Surfers. Reception staff were friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be back next year!! Nothing!

• Melinda (10/5): Not too close, not too far ... just right! - Great location - bike / walking path takes you in both directions so we bought coffee from synergy different each morning. Not far to the flags for swimming and the view is incredible. Beds we're comfortable, linen of nice quality and the kitchen was well supplied. We used the rooftop barbeque area twice when family came to visit and it was a wonderful set up. Drinks fridge, clean bbq, sink and plenty of seating all with the best view possible. There was extensive work being done to the grounds so the front entrance was out of action which meant you couldn't buzz in the family. If we split up we had to coordinate keys or send someone down to let them in. Not a big deal except we had some with mobility issues. It's clearly not going to be a long term issue - we just hadn't anticipated it.
• Andrew (9/5): Incredible! - Fantastic location, facilities and staff, as close to the beach as you possible can unless you're using a tent! The rooftop area is a great space to be. Only let down was the cleaning of the apartment wasn't extremely thorough but I know with quick turnarounds and personal experience how hard it can be to do a thorough clean after each stay. With a spring deep clean and some minor sprucing up, this place would be perfect!

• Heather (7/5): - Lifts were a nightmare - lots of stress, especially for a couple of people in our group who ended up quite anxious about the lifts, given it was multiple fails over the week. A little tired, few broken things - blind, toaster - management were reasonably quick to fix, so that was good. Kitchen utensils and pan were really not good.

Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful - special thanks to Amber and Tom for their exceptional customer service Some aspects of our apartment a little tired but it was well equipped and comfy. Construction work was noisy at times but the staff were very thoughtful and accommodating throughout our stay to minimise this for our family group.
• Paul (7/5): Great location, right on the beach, excellent rooftop amenities, clean and comfortable. - Rooftop spa, sauna, BBQ and lounging area were amazing with incredible views. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Location is great but second floor southern apartment is very exposed to a busy pedestrian walkway. Doesn’t give you a sense of privacy in the living area. Didn’t want to sit on the balcony. Other apartments on the eastern and northern sides would probably be better. Major outdoor landscaping works also put a dampener on our views which we were made aware of after our booking. Worth a call before booking to ask about the status of any renovation work.

• Daniela (9/5): Overall it was a great apartment and will definitely recommend it to others and go back again. - Location, front office staff and apartment size and comfort. Not being able to make the living areas dark - no blackout blinds as sensitive to full sunlight. But in saying that, that's just personal preference and nothing bad about the apartment.
• Klaudia (2/5): Very disappointing service. Excellent view. - The view is amazing. The property was extremely dusty. The sofas smelled of dust and we couldn’t sit on them for longer than a minute before feeling bad. The rooms were so dusty it was hard to sleep. If you run your fingers over surfaces it would collect large amounts of dust. The kitchen surfaces were sticky and dirty too. We started cleaning but gave up because we didn’t have proper cleaning supplies. We complained about the cleanliness and the staff just said it was cleaned before our stay. In reality the place felt like it was abandoned for months. The internet was also not working. The staff told us to call the ISP but without any registration details it was impossible to get any support requested. After 2 days a technician came and he told us the internet cable was cut a long time ago and the apartment didn’t have internet for a good while. We left after a few days to a hotel because of the poor cleanliness. The staff asked why we leave early and we explained. They didn’t even apologize and especially didn’t offer a refund. We had to pay for a new hotel on our dime.

Our apartment 13, could have been cleaned properly. Fidge was dirty, finger prints & dishwasher full on arrival. The furniture is tired & needs updating.
• Fadi (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful and beautiful place with all the good features. The elevator does not go up to the 10th floor, which has the jacuzzi and sauna. We had to climb the stairs to go there, and it was tiring for us.
• Heidi (9/5): Would come back again - Position, view, large size of apartment. laundry, quiet, family friendly The only thing was the lift to the top level was out of action which was where the spa and bbq was - there was a stair well to use apparently but this was locked when we tried to use it one morning.
• Ryan (8/5): Great Location on the Beachfront with a relaxing Oceanview. - Brilliant Location right on the beach front and about a 20-minute walk into either the Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach centres. The 3-bedroom apartment was a good size for our family of 5 and onsite undercover parking was handy. The apartment was light and bright with great ocean view. The complex is 9 floors which is a nice size compared to some of the higher rise options in the area. It was a very laid back and relaxed option for us. Whilst overall a comfortable apartment, there are some things like pillows and bedding where they have used very cheap and uncomfortable options. I just don't get with an apartment worth a few Million $ you buy the cheapest pillows you can find. Only 1 lift was operational for the full week of our stay, and this one did not go up to the rooftop spa and BBQ area so had to use stairs which is problematic when the kids are wet and also transporting food etc from the BBQ. They only include very limited amount of things like dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, tea, sugar etc that last the first few days. Again, a very cheap approach and you have to go and buy way more than you actually then need for the rest of the stay. Generally the complex was quiet and family friendly although there was a fair amount of noise transfer from the apartment above and the hot water did run out on a few occasions if everyone showered in the morning.

The smell coming up from the drain made one of the bathrooms unusable. And the single bed closest to the curtains is incredibly slanted and you feel like you’re going to roll off.

• Vivian (9/5): Great holiday stay - An incredible location, right on the beach. Balcony was perfect for a coffee in the morning or a wine in the evening. Great cafes nearby. Easy walk to either Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach shops and restaurant's. Local surf clubs great for breakfast and the local bowls club was great for a fun family activity. Amber at front desk is in the know with everything in the area, very accomodating, waited for us to arrive before closing the front desk. Having to leave after only a short stay, it really is a nice place. The kitchen could have used a better wipe down but other than that it was really clean
• Debra (8/5): Wonderful 3 night stay with my family. - Location very central to everything, beach at doorstep, shops, markets all within walking distance. Viscount on the Beach is centred halfway between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach so is only a short walk in either direction. Pool area has fantastic views overlooking the beach and surf. Apartment was very clean and comfortable, also with fantastic ocean front views. Great rooftop area which has magnificent coastline views with barbeque area and spa/sauna also. Highly recommend, would stay again. Nothing.

• Petrea (9/5): We loved our stay. - The location is fantastic and the feel of the property is lovely. there’s a great little cafe / shop just a short walk down the road which we only discovered on our last afternoon. It would be helpful to be told as it’s very close and not only do they do coffee & food but it’s a handy place to pick up groceries instead of going to Broadwater or Surfers. Tips like this go a long way.

• Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Location was ideal, the space this apartment gives was perfect for our family. Easy access to the beach great view of the pool and so much outdoor seating area. In the middle of surfers paradise and broadbeach with easy access to the tram line this apartment couldn't be in a better location. Staff in reception were super helpful and communication through out booking was great . Highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely be back upon our next visit There wasn't any thing we didn't like this property was ideal for us
• Nadene (8/5): Was a great location and a spacious apartment with a great rooftop area. - Great location with a great view and plenty of room in the apartment Wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived and the staff had already left when we discovered there were a few things like dirty cutlery and a used towel still in the bedroom.

• Nicole (5/5): Invest some money in replacing or repairing the basics. - Location was lovely Apartment was grubby and had many appliances not working, broken toaster, dishwasher, missing cover for water compartment of Nespresso had to use glad-wrap, fridge ice machine did not work. BBQ had not been cleaned and I would not use it. Just a very tired apartment. On site manager was lovely, we arrived just after owner had departed from 6 week stay and unfortunately the reality is the apartment was not very clean and too many things needed repairing or replacing. This is just an honest review from a very seasoned traveller for business. Location I cannot fault however.

• Graham (5/5): Passable - Location right on beach Unit was not clean. Things like electric kettle with a problem, fridge leaking water all the time. Not enough coffee mugs. No microwave dishes to use. Glasses, wine glasses had lipstick residue on them. We did three dishwasher cycles to get cups , mugs, glasses and everything else clean, very disappointing. Location is best feature, however the complex is old and dated. Car parking is very tight especially for larger family cars. All in all not good value for price charged when compared to other nearby units.

• John (5/5): Wonderful location and good facilities badly let down by condition of the apartment - Location was excellent right opposite the beach, the facilities such as the pool, spa & sauna were very good. The beds were very comfortable, in the main bedroom there was an extra large king size bed. Full oven, dishwasher, microwave and stove top were all functioning as expected. It would be an improvement if the bedrooms were also air-conditioned on really hot days. In unit 23 we found the condition of the main furniture in the lounge area was poor, with multiple staining on the seats of the couch. Bathroom ensuite badly stained - tiles, toilet and sink. Kitchen cutlery ingrained food , frypans and saucepans were not clean. Also, much of the crockery was badly stained and not really conducive for use. Cleaning mop was full of dirt, hair and grime so bad it actually put more dirt on the floor when tried to use it. All this was reported to the manager who said she would deal with it in-house when it was suggested the owner be told. Photos id required.

• Mukund (9/5): Superb - location and facilities. The lift was out of order and we could not access the rooftop spa for most of our stay, which was disappointing. Apart from that we had a wonderful time.
• Liam (8/5): Good VFM with friendly staff - Friendly staff and decent location for beach access however it is a short walk to both surfers and broadbeach. Apartment could do with a once over, although there was no rubbish in the apartment, there was lots of hairs from previous tenants and the kitchen was a bit greasy, just needs a good clean.

Roof top spa and sauna, bbq area. Bus right out the front and also a short walk to the tram stop at the end of the street. The staff was super friendly I can’t think of anything
• Amanda (5/5): Excellent location, average accomodation, poor service. - Great location on the beach. Apartment furniture is run down, beds are uncomfortable, one towel person and no beach towels were available for hire, told we should bring our own (not ideal when travelling internationally).
