• Gayle (10/5): Very Nice Accommodations - Everyone was very friendly, bend-over-backward for you, accommodations clean and comfortable, breakfast was very decent, the view was fabulous, they stored our luggage until check-in. It's everything you could want in a decent hotel. I don't 'think'/'remember' a coffee pot in the room. We could've used one if it doesn't exist.

• Korana (10/5): Prekrasan hotel s privatnom plazom i fantasticnim doruckom - Drugu godinu zaredom se vracam u Liburniju, ovaj put u Villu Amaliju i odusevljena sam. Soba je bila ogromna, super ugodna i super cista. Hotel je u prekrasnoj staroj zgradi pored hotela Kvarner u kojem idete i na dorucak i u gym, spa, bazen, plazu… Dorucak je savrsen, jedan od najboljih koje sam ikada probala. Sve mi se svidjelo, jedina mana koju bi mozda mogla istaknuti jest ta da kad ste u hotelu Kvarner liftom se spustate direktno na dorucak, na bazen itd. A od Liburnije morate prosetati doslovno dvije minute. Nama nije bio problem.

Non c'è stato comfort al mattino: in vacanza si vorrebbe dormire un po' di più rispetto a quando si lavora: siamo stati svegliati alle 6:15 dal forte rumore del camion dell'asporto rifiuti che caricava i cassonetti proprio nel piccolo piazzale della villa (non su una strada pubblica, quindi) davanti alle finestre della nostra camera. La cosa non è accettabile in una qualsiasi struttura alberghiera, tantomeno se a 4 stelle. Inoltre il percorso esterno tra la Depandance "Villa Amalia" e l'Hotel principale "Kvarner", dove c'è la reception e la sala colazione, comprende un passaggio decisamente poco pulito (vicino alla scala esterna e zone adiacenti).

• Annette (8/5): Tolles Ambiente, das aber zum Frühstücken nicht den Standard entsprechend halten kann. - Tolle Lage. Sehr fürstlich, aber das Bad müsste nachgebessert werden. Nach einem Duschgang ist der Boden immer voll Wasser Das Personal war unterbesetzt und deshalb auch gegen Ende der Frühstückszeit überfordert. Die Tische sollten auch um 10:00 Uhr noch gedeckt sein. Kein Platz war mehr unbenutzt bzw. frisch eingedeckt. Obwohl genug frei war. Sehr schade für ein so tolles Ambiente

• Vanesa (3/5): Aufgrund mangelnder Serviceorientierung und schwacher Infrastruktur enttäuschend. - Lage Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte nicht ordnungsgemäß. Sie ließ sich ausschließlich auf 20 °C einstellen oder vollständig ausschalten – eine individuelle Temperaturregelung war nicht möglich. Trotz mehrfacher Beschwerden an der Rezeption wurde dieses Problem über fünf Tage hinweg nicht behoben. Erst danach erhielten wir ein Ersatzzimmer. Zwar ließ sich auch dort die Temperatur nicht regulieren, jedoch war die Anlage zumindest auf angenehmere 23ºC voreingestellt. Die Regelung bezüglich der Sonnenliegen ist äußerst fragwürdig. Das Hotel entfernt konsequent persönliche Gegenstände von Liegen und hinterlässt Hinweise auf die Hotelregelung, sobald die Liege unbeaufsichtigt bleibt – ungeachtet dessen, ob man sich beispielsweise nur nur im Wasser aufhält. Da es am Strand keinen Service gibt, ist man gezwungen, die Liege zu verlassen, um Getränke oder Speisen zu besorgen. Man wird gebeten, die persönlichen Gegenstände mitzunehmen. Mit dieser Problematik sind wir mehrfach täglich konfrontiert worden. Zusätzlich verschärft wird die Situation dadurch, dass Sonnenliegen an externe Gäste vermietet werden, sodass für Hotelgäste häufig nicht ausreichend Liegen zur Verfügung stehen. Die wenigen Hotelparkplätze direkt am Gebäude waren während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts durchgehend belegt. Wir mussten unsere Fahrzeuge in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus abstellen und zu Fuß zum Hotel laufen.

• Karl (8/5): Wunderbar, eigentlich traumhaft von Lage und Komfort, lediglich das Parkproblem wäre zu verbessern - Wunderschön Leider ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Kein Parkplatz vor Ort - relativ teure Parkgarage 300 m entfernt und da die Villa Amalia eine Dependance des Hotels Kvarner ist, ist das Handling mit Gepäck bei An- und Abreise etwas aufwändiger- aber das Personal war überaus bemüht und extrem freundlich

• Sylvia (9/5): - Das Hotelpersonal war sehr entgegenkommend als wir leider einen Wasserschaden in unserem ursprünglich gebuchten Zimmer hatten. Sowas kann ja immer mal passiern. Es wurde versucht im ausgebuchten Hotel eine Alternative zu finden. Uns wurden 2 gute Optionen für den weiteren Aufenthalt gemacht. Da wir deshalb ins benachbarte Kvarner Hotel umgezogen sind, kann ich Villa Amalia leider nicht bewerten. Ebenfalls sehr gut organisiert ist die Parksituation. Der Mitarbeiter der sich um die wenigen Plätze/ kaum Stellfläche kümmert ist sehr engagiert, freundlich und vollends über Ankommer und Abfahrten informiert und nutzt den vorhandenen Platz optimal! Der Strand ist super schön, nicht überfüllt und es wird darauf geachtet dass Liegen nicht reserviert werden. Nach ca 1 Stunde werden diese auch freigeräumt (nach einer Ankündigung durch einen Zettel). Das habe ich tatsächlich noch nicht erlebt und fand das System sehr gut. Der Service im Restaurant könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein.

Nagyon szuper volt, hogy használhattuk a hotel medencéjét és napozóágyait ingyen, a reggeli finom volt, az elhelyezkedés tökéletes! Köszönünk mindent! Biztosan visszatérünk még! 😊 Nem volt ilyen!

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber und die Lage des Hotels mit der wunderschönen Terrasse ist unübertrefflich. Die Poollandschaft ist ruhig und der direkte Durchgang zur Liegeterrasse am Meer ist großartig.
• Veronique VALDENAIRE (10/5): Un retour dans le temps - Très bel établissement qui a gardé tout son charme d'antan ! Tout était parfait avec un service impeccable ! La position de l'hôtel et sa terrasse pour les repas sont vraiment agréables.
• K.Tímea (9/5): Kiváló szálloda, kedves személyzet. - Gyönyörű park mellett helyezkedik el a szállás, közvetlen a tenger parton. Rendelkezik privát strand résszel. Nagyon igényesen működik a reggeliztetés. A svéd asztalos reggeli mellett a tojásos ételek, a gofri, és a palacsinta a la carte módon rendelhető, frissen és szépen tálalva. Az Isadora Duncan lakosztályban szálltunk meg, mivel hárman voltunk. A szállodák többségében a lakosztályban nem pótágyat raknak be, hanem a nappali részen lévő kanapé kihúzható. Itt pótágy volt, ami nem volt túl kényelmes.

• alessandro (10/5): Locazion splendida, con spiaggia privata e tutti i servizi che si possono desiferare - E la seconda volta che soggiorno a Villa Amalia, e sono talmente innamorato di questo hotel che ho già prenotato altro soggiorno per Agosto. Le camere sono spaziose, luminose e curate on ogni dettaglio, la colazione ottima, e la spiaggia privata spettacolare. Veramente un posto dove rigenerarsi . Il buffet colazione era leggermente sotto tono rispetto agli anni precedenti. La colazione all'esterno e spettacolare, na servirebbe qualche azione dissuasori per colombi a volte troppo invadenti

• Marina (9/5): - Wir hatten das Vergnügen, einige Nächte in der Villa Amalia zu verbringen – und waren begeistert. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns das geschmackvolle Interior und das große Badezimmer mit Tageslicht – eine echte Seltenheit! Auch an Pflegeprodukten mangelte es nicht – alles war vorhanden. Das Frühstück sowie der Pool befinden sich im benachbarten Kvarner Hotel, dem ältesten Hotel Opatijas, was dem Ganzen zusätzlich Charme verleiht. Der Service war durchweg erstklassig: aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight – vielfältig, frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Ein paar kleine Wermutstropfen gab es dennoch: Das Bett knirschte bei jeder Bewegung, was den Schlaf etwas beeinträchtigte. Zudem war die schöne Frühstücksterrasse leider oft von Tauben belagert, was etwas unangenehm war.
• Benjámin (9/5): Csodás adottságokkal rendelkező szálloda, aminek nagyon nem tett jót a szomszéd diszkó. - A szálloda Abbázia központjában helyezkedik el, csodás parkkal körülvéve. A lakosztály tágas, ízlésesen berendezett, kifogástalanul tiszta, tengerre néző terasszal. A wellness részlegük rendkívül kellemes. A személyzet segítőkész. A disco, amit a közelben nyitottak. Hétvégén nem lehet tőle aludni hajnali 4-ig. A galambok tobzódása a reggeliző asztaloknál rendkívül visszataszító. 30-40 galamb mászkál az asztalokon, verekszik a maradékokért, összkoszolják a még tiszta terítéket... 1-2 pincér nem biztos, hogy beszélt angolul, mert többször is mást kaptunk, mint amit rendeltünk, de egyébként nagyon kedvesek voltak.
• Giovanni (7/5): Soggiorno piacevole ma potrebbe essere stato eccellente solo con pochi accorgimenti - Posizione stupenda Personale qualificato 1)Colazione sufficiente : l’acqua gassata era solo a pagamento!!! Incomprensibile e inutile quando si hanno a disposizione invece gratis bevande più costose compreso delle bollicine !!! 2) Il fatto che non ci sia il bidè ( ma è male comune in molti stati fuori dall’ Italia ) ma soprattutto per la presenza della sola vasca da bagno peraltro con una superficie molto liscia con pericolo di scivolare facendosi male per cui a rischio di risvolti anche di responsabilità civile da non sottovalutare! Anche perché posizionata ad un’altezza a dir poco esagerata con difficoltà a scavalcarla per cui le persone anziane o disabili avranno certamente tanta difficoltà ad andarci dentro. Trovo molto utile e igienicamente appropriata invece una bella doccia! ancor più perché il bagno era enorme. Infine Villa Amalia è una splendida dependance accanto all’hotel Kvarner ma il tragitto per andare in hotel dove ci sono tutti i servizi : reception, piscina ,sala colazione , terrazza ( molto bella con vista magnifica) non è piacevole perché bisogna camminare su un terreno un poco dissestato e destreggiarsi tra bidoni di immondizia e altre suppellettili . Basterebbe poco per renderlo decoroso. 3) il servizio in spiaggia insufficiente Bisognava spesso alzarsi dal lettino per chiamare il personale ! Basterebbe mettere un semplice pulsante di chiamata Wi-Fi come oramai ne esistono in molte spiagge

• Richard (8/5): Beach hotel on great location - Perfect positioned next to the sea front and Kvarner hotel. Friendly staff and very nice a la carte breakfast. The waterfront platform and pool are perfect including loungers , umbrellas en towels. Lovely spa area with sauna’s. Overall the hotel and villa are not well maintained; the entrance to the villa is via “back of house” with garbage containers and poor pavement. The villa needs some painting. The bench in the apartment was old style and worn off. The in-room safe is not working properly and not fixed to the wall so not really safe. The seats off the loungers on the terrace are worn off and damaged, dirty. Not inviting to have a drink. Parking is a nightmare ; you need to park 600 meters away in a good public parking: 25 euro per day. Dog with you? 29 euro per day. The gym is nothing more the some dumbbells and a treadmill. Overall; great location that has potential to be a really 4 star hotel in ALL aspects.

• Susanne (8/5): toller, sehr erholsamer Kurzurlaub - sehr freundlicher Empfang, der Hotelpage kümmerte sich sofort um das Auto und das Gepäck, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, es wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt, tolles Ambiente ich fand es super, dass die Gäste durch Flyer immer wieder daran erinnert wurden keine Liegen zu besetzen, und wenn dies eingetreten ist, wurden die Badetücher entfernt zu wenig Sonnenliegen am Strand, wenn man später an den Strand ging, hatte man keine Liege mehr zur Verfügung, auch im Poolbereich gab es wenige. Aber man muss sagen, es gibt auch leider keine Möglichkeit viel mehr Liegen im Strandbereich aufzustellen, da die Plattform nicht so gross ist.

• Ariane (9/5): Ein Traumurlaub unmittelbar am Meer, wir kommen gerne wieder! - Die Villa Amalia ist ein historisches Haus mit privatem Touch, alle Annehmlichkeiten eines Hotels bietet das Kvarner nebenan. Wir haben immer den wunderschönen Weg über die Vorderseite und Hotelterrasse genommen, ein Traum mit Meerblick. Unser Zimmer hatte Parkblick, zuerst fanden wir es etwas düster, später waren wir froh über das kühle Refugium. Das Hotel Kvarner selbst ist ein Schmuckstück direkt am Meer mit herzlichem Personal, überragendem Frühstück, Traumterrasse und stilvoller Badeplattform mit Handtuchservice. Auch der Wellnessbereich ist schön gestaltet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wegen der Möven und der gleißenden Sonne haben wir drinnen gefrühstückt, was auch sehr schön und individuell war mit dem freundlichen Service. Nette Aufmerksamkeiten wie täglich eine große Wasserflasche am Zimmer haben wir ebenfalls geschätzt. Der Schotterparkplatz mit Kette (die hohe Gebühr wird auf Booking nur ganz hinten in den Details erwähnt), Tresor nicht funktionsfähig und lose, kaum WLan, einige bauliche Kleinigkeiten, die bei einem historischen Gebäude wohl auch nicht vermeidbar sind.

• Stefanie (10/5): - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Amalia! Das Hotel ist superzentral gelegen. Der Pool, der private Betonstrand und der Frühstücksbereich befinden sich im Haupthotel nebenan (Hotel Kvarner). Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend und unser Zimmer (Superior Doppelzimmer) war sehr großzügig und sah aus wie eine kleine Suite! Das Einzige, das uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, waren die wilden und gierigen Tauben, die einem das Frühstück auf der Terrasse richtig vermiesen können. Hoffentlich kann das Hotel bald etwas gegen diese unternehmen.

• Milica (10/5): Savršeno - Sve je savršeno, od smeštaja, hrane, osoblja. Hrana u restoranu je fenomenalna, namernice su vrhunskog kvaliteta, kao i selekcija vina. Plaža je prečista i uredjena. Imam samo reči hvale o Vili Amaliji kao i Hotelu Kvarner!

• kathy (10/5): The best hotel in our three-week Balkins trip - Absolutely stunning hotel! The lobby, the dining room, the outdoor facilities and views were wonderful, but our room was the best part! It was very large, with a separate/adjoining sitting area with a couch and nice lighting to watch TV, and the beautiful bathroom was larger than some of the hotel rooms we stayed in! The bedroom was big and beautifully appointed. We felt like royalty staying there. The staff members were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. You can order many different kinds of egg or pancake/waffle dishes (like in an excellent American restaurant--my bias) and the coffee drinks were the best we had in any hotel this trip. Nothing

• Krisztina (9/5): A szállás tökéletesen tükrözte a város hangulatát. - A villa közvetlen a parton van, a szobák tágasak, stílusosak, a reggeli finom volt, minden igényt kielégítő melyet a Hotel Kvarner hatalmas teraszán lehet elfogyasztani. A Hotel egyéb szolgáltatásait is igénybe lehet venni. A két szállás egybe tartozik, a recepció is a Hotel Kvarner-ben van. A személyzet nagyon kedves. Azt írták parkolás lehetséges, előre foglalni nem lehetett és nagyon kevés hely volt és egyik nap sem volt hely. Mindenhol fizetni kell a parkolásért és így nagyon drága volt.
