Guest Reviews
- SAMI (2/5): Fake Pictures - All pictures are fake dirty hotel the only correct one is the bathroom everything else have fake picture don't visit this hotel
- hananalshekar (2/5): Worst hotel EVER - Don’t waste your money nor time to stay at this hotel. Their rooms are too small, hallways have a horrible stinky smell, their breakfast isn’t even a 1 Star & not so clean either.
They need to be shut down & be closed for good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Value for money - It was ok
- Ryan (2/5): - Hello
I went in for 2 days in loumage hotel in bahrain and i would like to proudly say it has been one of the most scarring 2 days of my life (not exaggerating) lets start of with the good things first.
1-the apartment was clean
2-good internet
3-the girl in the playroom was very nice and sweet she was the highlight of my stay
Thats it
Lets start with the why it’s scarring...
1-first of all, not everyone that comes to the hotel looks for getting drunk or sleeping with girls.
2-as much as i loved my room as much as i hated not having a boiling kettle or a microwave (after I checked out I learned that there is a shared kitchen which still isnt a good thing when you want hot water or food late at night)
3-the music is so loud,my apartment was in the 10th floor and both discos/nightclubs were at the 4th and the 18th floor which is far from me but i could hear the music as if it was playing from my room
4-literally every girl i saw was flirting and seducing me to invite her over to my room and pay her (which isn’t my intentions of coming to the hotel at all)
5-i wanted to take a look at the discos and i asked some of the staff they told me its free of charge and as i walked in they asked for an additional fee.
6-i was never informed by anyone about the facilities in the hotel
I was literally scared for my life to leave the apartment
7-oh yeah and there wasn’t any towels in my room
8-very bad elevators that takes ages to come to you
Ive been to hotels before but I’ve never seen
- happy0traveller2016 (4/5): Not an ideal location - The location of the hotel is not ideal as it’s not central although close to the airport. The rooms didn’t really match the photos. The bedroom itself was clean although there was only one towel in the room and it was tattered and torn. We asked for more and a hand towel and only got one. This place wouldn’t be very ideal for women staying alone as men are always approaching them in the area. When we got into taxis all the drivers told us this wasn’t an ideal place to stay
- Travelebug79 (2/5): Seedy and very dirty - Seedy, dirty, uncomfortable, no towels, no hairdryer, no mixer for spirits and no restaurant as advertised. The pictures are completely different to the reality of stained leather sofas with disgusting shower curtain and splattered walls, glasses everything. Absolutely disgusting place. Tried to charge for a £5 bottle of wine 255SAR!!! Madness!! What an awful place facing a small beach full of plastic and waste in a very seedy end of town. Would never recommend it.
- ENGSMB (6/5): GOOD STAY - hotel accommodation was good including nice rooms, bed and breakfast boutique hotel, the area in noisy and night specially in weekends.
the rate was average and equal to provided service.
recomended for singles
- ahmad (8/5): Good for young boys - Not good for families. So noisy because of disco. The breakfast is sooo good. The area is so scary especially at night
- 823tafadzwar (4/5): Lacks attention to detail - I have experience working in the Hotel industry, so It did not take much for me to notice the areas that were overlooked.
1. Finding the hotel was a nightmare. There was no signage in the area with the new name, the old name (Florida) is still up.
2. When I checked in, the front desk staff did not share info about the available facilities i.e. gym, swimming pool etc.
3. The room had a stench that would not fade even after calling housekeeping to solve the issue. Note: They used what looked like Air wick bathroom spray which just made it worse.
4. There was dust on the couch in the living room which was so evident.
5. The toilet seat had stains, the toilet paper was running out and the shower head was filthy.
6. The hot water got cold in minutes during my shower (a first even for a hotel in this category).
7. Breakfast was not buffet style though I admit that was not promised. After selecting from an al a carte menu, the meal was served cold and everything was drenched in oil. The croissant was stale, I requested for medium done sunny side up eggs, but I was served runny oily eggs. The mushrooms were bland, and the hash browns were inedible. The tea was served in a cup instead of a teapot hence cold by the time I was ready to have it, the waitress was startled that I requested for yoghurt for my cereal since I have a mild intolerance to cow’s milk, the cutlery did not match, I was given a soup spoon for my cereal.
8. The 1st elevator to your left from the lobby was not working. I had to wait for 5 minutes until I had no choice but to use it to go back all the way to the ground floor from the 19th floor. After reporting this to the front desk, I was told not to use it which did not make sense if it was the only elevator coming up the whole time I was waiting.
9. The notice on my door in the room still has Florida branding.
Over all I am very disappointed mostly because I expected more especially with basic things since the hotel was rebranded. I imagine people expect better from the Loumage management. One of your competitors with the same star rating offers way better quality and value for one’s money. I will not book to stay in any property managed by this brand in future unless someone recommends it.
- George_B670 (10/5): Loumage/Florida - This hotel has recently changed its name. It used to be called Hotel Florida, and when I was there the old name was still up on the sign. They have been redecorating and renovating rooms in stages, and I was put into one of the big new rooms on an upper floor. Reception staff was very helpful and considerate when answering questions. The room also doubled as an efficiency apartment, complete with a kitchen area and washing machine. King size bed was very comfortable. The windows are huge and partially face onto the sea view along with views of surrounding street areas. There is a private beach only ten minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast is in the restaurant opposite the reception desk. There is a relaxing pool on the roof, which offers excellent views over the corniche to the sea. The surrounding streets offer a huge variety of dining options. It is very easy to find taxi or bus service to the traditional market, museums, or to other locations in Bahrain. Overall the Loumage/Florida Hotel is excellent value for what you pay, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
- monishd2017 (10/5): Awesome - I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions for business and our company uses the hotel regularly. The hotel has undergone numerous renovations to the business rooms as well as recent upgrade and renovation to the front hotel lobby and reception.
The staff are genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction and are working to deliver the service levels that the group is renowned for. While the hotel is close to downtown and has ample parking bays.
Overall I have found it to be one of the 3 best in the city which has a serious shortage of business accommodation’s due to recent economic surge.
- sanjeevk393 (10/5): Florida Hotel Review - Excellent Hospitality, Caring staff, Good Facilities ! Best value for Money !
The room was tidy , spacious and clean. The location was perfect and the hotel offers free wifi. The Hotel is really good, I like the ambiance of the hotel, all the staff are approachable and well professional, they are very helpful. . I would love to comeback in this Hotel once I visit here again in Bahrain.
- 52vinayk (10/5): awesome hospitality - I stayed at this hotel many times. Although I have tried many other hotels in hooraI always prefer to stay here. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, parking, good facilities and services. The location is perfect adjoining corniche I would recommend it to families and business travellers.
- shadilaman (10/5): Fantastic service - Good hotel with having friendly and professional staff nice service and helpful staff always with smile,
Food is delicious and staff good while presenting meal and always there to help,
Had good visit and stay indeed I will love to come back,
Shadil aman
- heyzell234 (6/5): Services can be improved! - The room was tidy , spacious and clean. The location was perfect and the hotel offers free wifi.
This is a 4 star hotel though I was wondering how come there is no " hotel hospitality kettle tray set" that you can use??! The noise level of the bar was quite loud that we needed to switch on the aircon not to hear it. The aircon unit itself was faulty. We were awaken by a phone call at 4 am twice! Who will disturb you at that time? Also, they only provide us one towel! Lastly, there was a clear " no smoking" sign in the restaurant but staff didn't even bother to confront an Arab man who was smoking, stating it was customary of arab culture to smoke in restaurants. It can be difficult as I suffer from any forms of allergic rhinitis.
Hope the service improves soon, yet a really doubt it.
Good value for money.
- Nezarrr (6/5): Is ok - Hotel is good stuff are good bar 3 star Medium clean room is on houra Area if you look for hotel on houra that is your first choice but if you look for 5 star there is another hotel , for family I don't recommend . They have good bar but not perfect they have club I don't recommend
- Majed911 (6/5): Need improvements - The floor wasn't clean and the noise coming from the nightclub was very high and we couldn't sleep very well.. I liked the style of the furniture and the fast wifi. Parking is available and save for your car.
- skyjavisaba (2/5): Closed! Doing reform! - I had my reservation on the 4th of July 2016, but when I arrived to the hotel the rude receptionist told me that they are on maintenance so he gave another location to another hotel.. I had to pay extra 10$ for another taxi to take me to the other hotel..
They waisted my time and I arrived late to my meeting.
Bad experience and do not recommend this place to anyone. Very old and rude people..
- Verified traveler (2/5): I went to this hotel and there in no booking. - I went to this hotel and there in no booking. They do not interact with expedia.
- Hemo_86 (8/5): Nice hotel - It was not a bad choice to stat at the hotel, The room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. The hotel have the Bollywood Music, and the Ethiopia Bar, also Arabic club. they have the Spa And Massage with swimming pool.
Note: They offer me the room for 45BD but I found it in Agoda.com for 35BD. So I prefer to check the price from the internet before take the room from the hotel.

- Cowdary (10/5): Good Hotel And Nice View - The hotel has an impressive amazing sea view and the most helpful staff. As soon as you walk in, the place is overwhelming in height, decor and beauty. The rooms are very big as well. I stayed in a single room with a couch, king size bed. The bathroom was clean and huge. I wanted to sleep in that bed ALL day.
There's a hotel bar and restaurant (serving breakfast ) which is convenient. You also have a restaurant and coffee shop with bar,Bollywood Music live band and Amazing Spa And Massage with pool )
Location is convenient. Up the street, there is a bazaar for local foods and shopping. I found a hookah in Ethiopia Bar and jewelry to bring home. LOVE this hotel.
Stayed November 2013
- toxicologist (6/5): nice but not nice - friendly staff , good location (sea view), spacious room but need to work on improving WIFI, visitor policies (only allowed to have one visitor) what if you have friends or ex-colleagues ??
breakfast buffet need improving, double room with no sea view only twin beds for sea view
- BrandoM_12 (6/5): Hotel was OK but Really Nothing Special - The hotel was OK, and the rooms were big and ok, but the staff was a little slow in terms of getting things done and the food was horrible. When I ordered a Hot and Sour Soup I got a Tom Yung and then staff argued that it was the H&S - which was OK at best.
There are so many other options, I would not recommend this hotel, and certainly would not stay here again.
