- Scott (10/5): Excellent - Host, Location, Serenity. Both of our faucets dripped.
- Silvana (10/5): - Beautiful setting, lovely appointed room with breakfast supplies. Owner went out of her way to pick us up and also drop us off at the ferry terminal. Nothing, it was perfect.
- David (10/5): Fulfilled all our expectations - An outstanding B n B with a special host to take care of you
- Cooreman (10/5): -
- Hans-Jürgen (9/5): Es war perfekt - Lage, das Haus(Bauwerk), und die Freundlichkeit der Vermieterin Keine Kritikpunkte
- Barbara (10/5): - Lovely quiet spot. Loved that breakfast was left in our room so we could prepare it at our leisure. Cute little egg poacher!
- Christian (10/5): Perfect hotel for a relaxing stay next to center of Picton - The stay was exceptional. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and gave us many helpful tips for Picton. The accommodation was very stylishly furnished, and the breakfast was very rich and varied. The rooms were harmoniously and tastefully decorated. A wonderful époche-style hotel.
A rating of 10 is actually too low. n.a.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional accommodation and hosts and a lovely overnight stay. Wished we could have stayed longer! - We loved the room and the thoughtful touches, such as fruit and home made brownies from our hosts. Despite a late ferry arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The accommodation was comfortable and we loved the location and character of the b&b, the garden and terrace and the friendliness of the hosts.
- Amelia (10/5): - The owners were wonderful. Provided us rides from the bus back to the ferry. Both rooms we stayed in were very comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had at any place we stayed and it was in our room so we could enjoy it at our convenience. This was our favorite lodging in New Zealand.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Our hosts went above and beyond in fulfilling our needs! Afternoon tea was laid out for us when we arrived. A large variety of breakfast choices was in the frig. Our host was kind enough to take us to the ferry in the morning! The home is a mansion from the 1800s and is beautifully kept as are the grounds. We highly recommend this B and B!!!
- Xuheng (10/5): Impressive experience beyond expectation! - Everything! It's such a beautiful historical house right under a hill, decorated elegantly inside and outside. The housewares are tasteful and comfortable. The garden is enjoyable, with chairs shaded by an olive tree! Michelle is very kind and attentive. She picked us up from ferry and drove us to the train station. Breakfast items are refreshing! A bit of insects at night, but manageable if remember to keep doors/windows shut :)
- Andrew (10/5): Michelle and Stefan made us feel very welcome. We arrived early, around 10:45am as we had only travelled up from Blenhei - A fantastic heritage property a credit to the owners Michelle and Stefan. Nothing it was great.
- Pam (10/5): Gorgeous accommodation and gracious hosts - Everything! The accommodation is gorgeous and tastefully decorated. It was also spectacularly clean. Our hosts were so welcoming. Special little touches too, like the delicious lemon cake for when we arrived. Would most definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Amelia (10/5): We had a lovely time and are looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks. - It was a lovely location. The couple who own it are great. The breakfast was superb. They provide a shuttle to town and pick up from the ferry. Nothing.
- David (10/5): This property would make a great destination for a few days break in style and luxury - It’s a stunning house beautifully decorated and furnished. It’s easy walking distance to the bars and restaurants . The owner is very nice and provides a lovely breakfast, and gave us free transfers to and from the ferry. I liked it all
- GuidoK (10/5): Die perfekte Unterkunft - Sehr herzlicher, freundlicher Empfang.

- Craig (10/5): One of our best stays in all of New Zealand! - A beautiful home on the edge of town, very peaceful and quiet. The grounds were fantastic, the rooms excellent. Michelle was very helpful with all of our requests. The balcony was a wonderful place to relax after a hike. Nothing
- Liz (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): - Even the electric blanket had been prepared and bed warm. Breakfast excellent ! All good
- Jörg (10/5): - Wir hatten als "Zimmer" eigentlich mehr eine Art Wohnung. Die Lage in dem Garten ist wunderschön. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nichts
- Davison Steen (10/5): Absolute gem - Luxurious comfort in a stunning house with amazing gardens Nothing
- Asuncion (9/5): -
- Mauro (9/5): A peaceful stay before or after the ferry - The highlight is definitely the house itself and the surrounding garden, a real park full of vegetation and birds, located in a very peaceful and quiet residential area next to the forest.
The room is large, the bed very comfortable and the shower very powerful. A nice terrace with a table and two chairs is just in front of the room door.
Breakfast is very generous and rich.
Location is very convenient, just a few minutes drive from the ferry and less than 15 min walk to the town centre.
Last but not least, the hosts are very friendly. The carpets: they would probably benefit from some "rejuvenation" by either a deep cleaning or replacement
- Freeland4 (10/5): Excellent stopover after ferry - Walking distance to town, clean, cosy room, quirky, beautiful colonial style house.

Stefan and Michelle run this place with such heart and their home is absolutely wonderful, and the surroundings, including the garden are simply stunning. Their dog is incredibly friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. The ambiance, decor, and all the thoughtful amenities make it a truly luxurious place, deserving of high praise. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it!
- Ulrike (8/5): Ok für 1Nacht - Etwas außerhalb, ruhig, Bett zu weich, Frühstück muss man selbst zubereiten, schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
- Robert (5/5): -

- Christine (8/5): Cool place for something different; hidden away from the hustle and bustle - Lovely, peaceful and private location in beautiful settings. The premises has an interesting and well documented history. Well maintained and clean property. Welcoming and friendly owners. Great selection of breakfast items and hot drinks. Our room (the studio) was comfortable. Fits the boutique bill! Our first night we experienced an internet bandwith issue so the TV wouldn't load, and the hot water ran out after two brief showers. No issue the following night however, so perhaps a one-off!
- Rob (10/5): Amazing place to stay. - A beautiful maintained home and B&B. Great balcony, manicured gardens. Large rooms, we had a lounge room, dining table, 2 bathrooms, kitchen area. The little touches around food and cakes/slices. Great Hosts. A short walk to town with plenty of restaurant choices.

- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect.
- Roy (8/5): - In many respects this should get a 5***** review, as the attention to detail and all the little extras are just superb. But it was all a little too much for me. And please, the gravel drive doesn’t work with heavy wheeled suitcases.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sound of birds in the garden greeted us in the morning. We also had a wonderful dinner at Sisu.

- James (8/5): - Cold in the room heat was not set high enough
- Livermore (10/5): Loved it - Breakfast was very generous and offered good choices.
- Rebelred (9/5): Charm, history, fabulous hosts, super comfortable, a joy. - What a beautiful home this is! An historic wooden building on the outskirts of the town that is full of charm and character. We were welcomed by our wonderful hosts and shown to our beautiful room which had lots of storage and fantastic bed and antique furniture. The mini kitchen was brilliantly stocked with everything we'd need for breakfast and it was full of mod cons and little touches, with a bathroom that was stocked with so many thoughtful items that would put a 5 star hotel to shame. A wonderful stay and beautiful gardens in a very quiet part of town. It's a bit of a walk to town so keep that in mind - it was fine for us but just something to remember if you are travelling with luggage, kids, etc. but well worth it, believe me, to stay in this gorgeous home.
- Andrew (10/5): Relaxing - A beautiful location and immaculate property run by very welcoming hosts. The perfect place to unwind in the middle of a tour. Thankyou
- Catherine (10/5): Luxury bed and breakfast stay in Picton - Interesting property, lovely room with comfortable 4 poster bed. Breakfast waiting in the fridge, chocolate brownies, lots of nice little touches and charming hosts. Harvey the dog was super cute. Loved the electric egg poacher too! Couldn't ask for more really. Picton is a nice little town with lots of restaurants and shops. Nothing really, we had a lovely stay. If i had to be picky the Kitchenette was a tad on the small side but it had all the essentials, microwave and fridge etc and we weren't there to do a lot of meal prep. This is designed to be a luxury bed and breakfast experience and fits the bill perfectly.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional accommodation. Would use again. 6* - Exceptional property. Lovely hosts. Very comfortable. Best nights sleep I’ve had since arriving in NZ. Nothing at all. Can’t fault it.
- Andrew (10/5): - sennenHouse is a beautiful historic property.
Michelle and Stephan are excellent hosts who have set the house up well to receive visitors.
Great accomodation, and breakfast.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Megan (9/5): Superb -
- Peta (9/5): This beautiful B&B is worth a trip to Picton alone. - The breakfast was simple but lovely with fresh eggs and good coffee. The owners were also very welcoming and helpful. The property was a beautiful old homestead surrounded by lovely gardens.
- Karen (10/5): Great place to stay in Picton - The owners were very hospitable. We were all pleased with our beautiful, well-appointed suites. After travelling for a couple of weeks, the well-stocked fridge and ability to make our own breakfast was a treat: eggs from their own hens, milk, juice, jam, butter, bread, fresh fruit. Beautifully landscaped, peaceful, and backing into a mountain forest. And a charming little dog named Harvey.
- Gallimore (10/5): Very relaxing, friendly and comfortable stay. - Warm welcome from Michelle, Stefan and Harvey! Accommodation was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The homemade cake was gorgeous too. Only sorry we only booked for one night. Nothing, we liked everything about the property.
- Paula (9/5): Lovely Victorian house nicely appointed rooms - Great selection
- Colleen (10/5): Perfect place to stay! Quite a beautiful home and warm and welcoming hosts, Michelle and Stefan. - Charming and spacious. Beautiful gardens. Very peaceful. Walking distance to town but definitely felt removed enough from the busy-ness of town. The James Cook room was absolutely perfect! We loved it all.
- Georgia (4/5): Disappointing - Very disappointing and not what we had hoped for. It was described as a “luxury” B&B and it was seriously lacking. A do it yourself breakfast set up to poach your own eggs and a coffee make that didn’t work.
- Hanby (10/5): Exceptional - Accommodation the best on our trip. The hosts had thought about everything. Nothing.
- Wendy (10/5): A great B&B, quiet location close to the central square. - Kind welcoming hosts
Comfortable bed ,spacious, well equipped.
Tastefully decorated with lovely linen and toiletries.
Kitchen well equipped and delicious breakfast
Cakes treats and fruit were much appreciated. Nothing it was all fine.
- Catherine (9/5): Just spent 2 nights here but great location and furnished to a very high standard . - Beautiful property . Rooms were great with everything you needed - highly recommend! Nothing
- Alessia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brett (9/5): Peaceful heritage accommodation - Beautifully restored heritage house. Attention to detail. Lots of options in the fridge for breakfast
Lovely room.
Great to be picked up from train station & dropped at ferry later. 15 minute stroll to town. Mainly flat though.
