Dmitrii (10/5): СМЕЛО РЕКОМЕНДУЮ ДРУЗЬЯМ и не только - Все проживание в отеле нам организовала сотрудница Екатерина - она оперативно нас заселила, проводила до номера, подсказала по организации передвижения по городу и в аэропорт, ответила на все вопросы по проживанию. Доброжелательная и гостеприимная атмосфера, созданная сотрудницей Екатериной, запомнятся нам надолго. В целов отель расположен отлично, начиная от рецепшена заканчивая номером - все стильно чисто и удобно. В номере есть все - продумано и реализовано идеально. Завтрак отличный. Ночью, не смотря на центральное расположение отеля, тихо. В общем целом отель понравился на все 100%. Veníamos de otro hotel de 5 estrellas muy cercano a 5 minutos, en el que realmente estabamos bien y nos cambiamos al Waldorf pensando que era mejor, aun teniendo sitio en el otro hotel. Desconociamos que nos llevariamos una gran decepción. Mi mujer y yo queríamos cenar en el restaurante de 1 estrella Michelin del hotel y nos dijeron que estaba completo, preguntamos si había sitio en "La Braserie" el que está en el looby y le dijeron que tampoco. Subimos a la habitación, nos cambiamos y reservamos para cenar en un estrella michelín cercano al hotel. Cuando bajamos a recepcion mi mujer volvió a preguntarles y ahora le dicen que si hay sitio. Finamente mi mujer decidió no salir del hotel y anular la reserva en el otro restaurante, por lo que cenamos en el hotel. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa que la mayoría de las mesas estaban libres y nunca llegó a llenarse. Mi mujer y yo fuimos los últimos en dejar el restaurante. Es decir descaradamente no querían que cenaremos en ese restaurante. Quizá porque mi mujer y yo veníamos de ver la ciudad vestidos de sport. Tal fue nuestra sorpresa cuando subimos a cenar elegantes y los que estaban cebando de sport era el resto de clientes. Señores, un hotel de categoría, da soluciones a los clientes, no les ponen trabas. En el supuesto caso de que el Hotel estuviese lleno de verdad (no era el caso), siempre ( y así nos ha pasado en otros hotels de 5 estrellas) al cliente se le da una solución, por ejemplo con un restaurante externo y nunca se le dice que no. Un chasco. Sinceramente no volveremos. Además el desayuno era muchísimo mejor en el hotel anterior y además con vistas.

Colleen (10/5): Fabulous stay for tourists; great location and a luxury escape from the busyness of the city - Breakfast was excellent with an extensive menu catering for tastes/diets/ages. The staff was attentive and helpful even when communication was challenging with language barrier (eg. Non-English speaking staff sought help when necessary). Our room was a good size and in a corner position letting in loads of light from three separate windows; nice to have the option of ‘being part of the outside hustle and bustle’ or simply close the curtains and hide away. We found the concierge difficult to communicate (language barrier) with and therefore chose not to use this desk as a source of information.

523JASONL (10/5): Beijing Gem. - I stayed five nights at the Waldorf in a premier room overlooking the street. The room was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was enormous and very modern. The hotel service was top-notch, especially Caffrey the Concierge. He was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions about Beijing, especially since it was my first time there. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Beijing, just a 10-minute walk from the Forbidden City. There are also many high-end shops and department stores right outside the hotel. My only suggestion is that the breakfast lobby can get quite busy in the mornings due to the limited space and food choices. Otherwise, there’s nothing negative to say about the hotel.

I have been fortunate enough to stay in many five-star hotels, so I do not say this lightly: what sets this hotel apart is not just the beautiful property, the elegance, or the luxury — it is the people. The staff here take hospitality to a completely different level. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such genuine warmth, grace, and attentiveness that we felt less like guests and more like honoured friends. What impressed me most was the way the team seemed to notice and remember every little detail. Nothing ever felt forced or scripted. Every interaction felt personal, thoughtful, and sincere. There is a level of care here that is incredibly rare, even in the very best hotels. They made an especially wonderful fuss of my daughter for her birthday, and that meant so much to us. They turned what was already a special trip into a truly unforgettable celebration. It is those thoughtful touches — the ones you do not expect, but never forget — that made this stay so remarkable. I want to give special recognition to Young and Yangchenjing at breakfast, who were both absolutely outstanding. hobtravel (10/5): My best staying in Beijing so far - I have stayed in this hotel twice, once in 2018 and I just came back from staying there in march 2026. I checked some of the hotel reviews in tripadvisor to choose the best staying, and gladly I'm not choosing wrong one. Waldorf Beijing is still the best for us. Location : is very near to Wangfujing, shopping area, Palace Museum, Tiananmen Square, National Museum and very near to metro station. Rooms is very spacious, clean and so is the bathroom, which is also have bidet (which sometimes other hotels dont have) and we are very grateful to have been upgraded with our Hilton Gold member. and at last for their service, I must give them a thumb up. I left my clothes inside the room after check out, they still informs us and help us to send to our relatives in China. Thanks to Waldorf for giving us a good memory for a place to stay in Beijing, hope we will stay there again for the third times.

The concierge service was truly outstanding. Special thanks to Rice Wang, Castil Mu, and the entire concierge team – absolutely top class. They assisted us flawlessly with airport transfers, fast-lane airport service, dinner reservations, and package handling. Everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care, making our stay completely stress-free. The room was excellent – spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was top quality, with a great selection and refined presentation. The hotel’s central location is another big plus, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Sadly, due to time constraints, we did not manage to try the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Zijin Mansion, which is definitely on our list for the next visit. A truly world-class hotel with an exceptional team. We will absolutely return – and hopefully stay longer next time. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

584chiz (10/5): Good Experience - I had a great experience here. We stayed at the hotel for two nights, and the room service was very attentive. In the evening, my mom and I went to the spa. The front desk staff, Joy and Vivienne, were very warm and welcoming, and they explained the treatments in detail and answered all of our questions. The therapists, Angela and Lily, gave extremely comfortable massages with excellent techniques, and they were also very friendly.

La colazione era buonissima, posizione centrale . Veramente un bellissimo albergo. È inaccettabile dover fare la fila a colazione la mattina, è capitato solo una volta, probabilmente lamentare hanno sistemato ed aggiunto altri tavoli. Non c’è la sauna, e c’è solo il bagno turco che non è nulla di che. Nel bagno dove c’è il bagno turco, non ci sono posti per appendere l’accappatoio, può sembrare una sciocchezza ma invece era un problema perché praticamente non sapevi dove metterlo. L’inglese non lo parla quasi nessuno del personale, però molto meglio rispetto a tante altri posti visitati in Cina.

Reception was very, very slow and understaffed, we had to wait more than 30 minutes at check-in even if there were only 3 people ahead of us - they only had two counters and were excruciatingly inefficient and slow. When it was finally our turm, we were then told that our rooms were not yet ready, even if it was already 4 pm and they had been reserved months in advance. So, we were told to wait at the bar for over an hour... We then reserved a table in the on-site michelin-star restaurant but that was not properly transmitted to the restaurant... Not OK for such a deluxe international hotel. Lastly, the hotel seems to attract locals that like to show off and think they are VIPs; the whole hotel has a bit of an "attitude" that is unfortunately not in proportion to its service, even if it is beautiful, and the rooms are fantastic...
