All of the Ć la carte restaurants are some of the best Iāve been to at an all inclusive resort. Such an easy booking system too. Our daughter fell ill, the hotel management couldnāt do enough for us, bringing us food up to the room, to make sure as parents we still ate. Then when she was well, checked in to see how she was. The adult only pool is fab, great to have space to get away from the kids if needed. The small waterpark was an added bonus to break the day up too. The beach is stunning, with SO much room, with sunbeds. We enjoyed the chilled evenings and the vibe of the evenings, though VERY humid, itās nice to get inside into the aircon, which cooled you right down. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

- janahD8537YK (2/5): Avoid this hotel at all costs. - Avoid this hotel at all costs. Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island was a complete disaster. We paid over $1,000 for a 2-night all-inclusive stay, and it was a total waste of money. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, and full of issuesādead bugs in the bathroom, mosquitoes inside, no fly net, a broken fridge, and extremely poor cleaning overall. The AC was so loud it sounded like a generator, making it impossible to sleep. The food was even worse. The buffet was one of the worst I have ever seenāvery poor variety, mostly Indian food, barely any Arabic options, and nothing suitable for some of us (including those fasting). The quality and presentation felt like a camp, not a 5-star resort. Guests were crowding and mishandling the buffet, making it completely unappetizing. On top of that, the restaurant was completely mismanaged. We had to wait in extremely long queues just to enter breakfastāat one point the line stretched all the way to the lobby. No organization at all. The āall-inclusiveā package was pointless: We ended up eating lunch and dinner outside most of the time None of us benefited from the package The alcohol was low-quality, unknown brands we couldnāt drink Drinks were only served in cupsāwhen we asked for sealed bottles or cans, they refused We even tried to use other facilities like the shisha lounge, but it was full. When we asked to have shisha near our room, we were refusedāagain, no value. The pool was not heated, so the kids couldnāt use it. It rained most days, so outdoor activities were not an option, and the indoor play area was very dirty and limited for a supposed 5-star hotel. The spa experience was also disappointingāthe massages were not worth the price at all. We raised these issues with the duty manager, who promised the chef would contact us, but we never heard anything. We were a group of six families, and every single one of us had issues. One family left early because they couldnāt tolerate the conditions. This hotel claims to be a 5-star resortāthere is absolutely no way. It doesnāt meet even basic standards. Worst experience. Total waste of money. Never again.

- emilyjsnell (10/5): Beautiful resort - We came for 3 nights ended up 12 due to war conflict. This was our 5th visit. The staff were amazing to us throughout our stay and really looked after us as well as the manager. THANK YOU SO MUCH. We love the deluxe rooms and ultra all inclusive works best for us as we highly recommend the al carte restaurants. We enjoyed coffee from the foyer in the mornings and loved the beach bar for drinks during the day. The rooms are spacious and clean and no faults there. The beach area is beautiful lovely walks during the day and loads of sunbeds available. Family pool area is our favourite spot and we enjoyed that. Al staff amazing through out. Favourite restaurant is sanchya followed by brasserie. Such high quality food. We unfortunately came at a bad time for the country and yes we was scared through out our stay but staff were amazing trying to keep everyone calm. We absolutely recommend this hotel is the best on ras. We hope conflict stops and we can return again. This hotel offers so much and value is amazing. Hotel will suit couples and families.
- UZI_vlogs (4/5): POOLS are NOT HEATED - This is our 2nd time to go to this hotel. The hotel rooms are amazing but there is one big problem we experienced. The water park for kids was closed during our stay because of maintenance as per reception. This was very unfortunate because our stay is more for our kids. The worst part is that the pools were NOT HEATED as per their advertisment which became our major factor when we checked in. We complained this during our stay but it was never fixed. The water in the pool is extremely cold. We actually thought about checking in when we were told that the Kids Water park was closed. Although the staff at the restaurant were amazing in all fairness.
- jeanettegulliford1 (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - We had an excellent stay at this hotel and couldnāt fault the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Given the situation in Dubai at the moment, they handled everything exceptionally well, keeping guests calm, informed, and most importantly safe. Their professionalism and reassurance really stood out and made a big difference to our stay. The food and drinks were also great throughout our visit. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were initially considering upgrading to ultra all-inclusive. We were quoted 245 AED per person per night for the upgrade, but after looking into it properly we decided against it. With the standard all-inclusive package you still receive 25% off meals at all of the Ć la carte restaurants, and we actually ended up spending much less by simply paying separately for those meals. Overall, unless youāre a big drinker or specifically want premium branded drinks, I wouldnāt say the ultra all-inclusive upgrade is necessary. The regular all-inclusive package offers great value and plenty of choice. All in all, a fantastic stay with amazing staff, great food, and a hotel that clearly prioritises guest comfort and safety. We would definitely return once things settle down in the Middle East

- 403cathyk (10/5): Wonderful break from the cold weather - This is our second visit to Atlantic Beach and we stayed at this hotel both times. It is the only high-rise hotel property in Atlantic . We appreciate being on a high floor and seeing the ocean view. We were there for 12 days this time and by the time wewere leaving, we felt like the staff were our friends. We did not get every day housekeeping because we didnāt need it, but they were very good about getting us towels, extra coffee, and anything that we needed on the days when we did not have room service. The pool and spa are wonderful. The lobby area is bright andairy with comfortable seating. The hotel has an in-house restaurant and lounge. Weather permitting there is a little lunch counter type place out by the outside and near the steps to the beach. Unfortunately this time it was not open yet for the year. We did eat there the lasttime we stayed and it was wonderful. Thereās access to appear with some benches and picnic tables where you can just go sit and enjoy the sunset or take your food outto eat outside. There is an outside area for dining near the restaurant, but we did not have good enough weather to use it this time. There is also an outdoor pool, which is also very nice. There are handicapped accessible parking spaces at this facility and we were able get an accessible room. It was right across from the elevator and so very convenient. There are no stores immediately near the hotel so it is a bit of a walk or a very short drive to the store, post office, etc., andthere are some other restaurants within a couple of miles which will be in separate reviews Hilton tells you youāll be greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie, and they keep their promise. We would definitely return to this property again!

We really enjoyed evenings in the anchor bar and grill, however allowing smoking inside there, was horrible. The staff were lovely, but didnāt seem bothered about this. As a non smoker sensitive to strong smells, it should really be signposted that this is a smoking bar, or staff should remove these people promptly. As someone sensitive to strong smells, this really ruined my week here.
- Dai47 (8/5): Great stay, superb food - Sanchaya service should be much better - We have recently returned from a 5 night stay on ultra all inclusive. I would have scored 5 stars if it wasn't for some disappointing aspects on certain a-la-carte restaurants which are covered in separate reviews. Firstly - the airport transfers were great. We had an issue with our luggage whereby BA had put one case on the next flight which arrived 90 minutes later. No problem - the driver was just able to wait. Check in was smooth and informative and we were given a had a lovely room towards the wavebreaker end of the resort. Mornings were spend by the adult pool area, and we then moved to the beach bar area in the afternoon to lounge on the comfy beds whilst listening to the chill music that was being played by the DJ's - both locations were blissful. The food was great in both the buffet and a-la-carte restaurants. Check the opening times for your stay and plan your visits around that. Unfortunately the Brasserie was scheduled to be buffet only for most of our stay, but thankfully it did revert to a-la-carte on our last night which meant that we were able to change our reservation from Sanchaya after a poor experience the night before. The food in Sanchaya was great, but not matched by service levels. On that particular evening the duty manager was extremely attentive to a table of 3 whos were seemingly celebrating Ramadan. Meanwhile service to other guests including our table was severely lacking. My detailed review on Sanchaya is on that restaurant page - but in essence the attention to this special table at the expense of all other guests by the manager was unacceptable. We promptly cancelled our reservation for our last night the next day. In complete contrast the service in Vespa and the Brasserie was spot on. We enjoyed 3 lovely lunches at Vespa, and a special mention goes to Mon who served us on two occasions. Lunches and breakfast in the main buffet restaurant were also great with a good choice and quality. My only observation for the a-la-carte restaurants is that there should be a designated area for adults only as in the main buffet restaurant. Our evening at Meze was spoilt by a group of children who's parents thought that it was acceptable for them to run around the dining area. We were enjoying a chilled evening with the DJ playing a set in the open area between Meze and Sanchaya, until the children started to run around the tables. The families in question then decided to move tables from Sanchaya to Meze, and the children continued to be disruptive and noisy without any care from their parents. It certainly spoilt our evening, and other diners nearby left their tables. We are parents ourselves - but found this behavior to be unacceptable for the location - especially given that these restaurants are only available as a payable upgrade to the normal all inclusive. Management should look into making areas adults only, and potentially train staff. Whilst the staff apologised (not their fault) they obviously had noted the behavior but decided not to take appropriate action.. Drinks are good - especially on ultra all inclusive across all bar areas, with a good selection of wine available with meals We visited the local mall using the courtesy bus - well worth a visit with a good variety of shops. If you like Dubai chocolate there is a stand on the first floor nearby the central elevators which sell a selection gift box of different flavors at very reasonable prices - and they certainly taste good! The on site shops are also good value. Otherwise, as we only had a short stay we opted out of any sightseeing trips on this occasion. There is a lovely viewing area for sunsets opposite the main entrance - so well worth heading over there around 15 minutes before sunset on a clear day Overall a really good stay, with very high quality food. We'll certainly consider a return, and hopefully the service levels of all restaurants can be the same
- spice1981 (6/5): Half term holiday - We have just returned from a lovely trip to this hotel! All the staff are amazing especially Nickson, Thalanga, Koko & Amit! absolute aset to the hotel and a main reson we return every year! A few point that i think need attention: Asian restaurant has terrible service, we waited for ages to be served kept on having to put our hand up to get someones attension, didnt bring any water or cutlery and got our meal wrong in our opinion needs more attentive staff, and a manager who cares when you stress the issues you have had when you address him! will not be going to that restaurant again which is a shame as setting is beautiful! 1) Food needs a little more flavour some quite bland in buffet 2) Beach is quite dirty and needs more litter picking during the day, hundreds of cigarette ends everywhere and rubbish, cups and glasses not cleared away fast enough, needs a litter picker to ensure as much i cleared as possible, cigareete ends take years to degrade and its not nice seeing hundreds of them on the beach!!! 3) Adult only pool!!!!!!! Life guards need to patrol more for kids, pushchairs brought in and lifeguards almost pretend they dont see them, when we come with no kids and want peace and serenity away from noise and kids! Also again glasses and rubbish in this area builds up needs more staff to frequently check it and keep it cleaner!

My only regret is that we didnt stay longer!! This hotel is absolutely stunning. It's spotlessly clean, ALL the staff are very happy and helpful. A special thanks to Nickson for all his help and support with booking trips, helping out with general enquiries and supporting my nan with getting to and from her room (My nan is 88 and can only walk small distances, so a buggy was made available when she needed to get about). General overview: The staff. Probably the most helpful and happy staff teams Ive ever experienced and we've travelled all over the world. The food. Amazing! And in abundance catering for all tastes and requirements. The Shakshuka egg was my favourite every morning, the curry selection, Salad bar, Meat selections, the butterfly pancakes for the kid's, fruit The list goes on! You name it its theres. Entertainment We liked to sit outside for most meals and in the evenings there were some fantastic singers. During the day there is beach yoga, water aerobics, a live DJ at the beach, kids club, darts chess, beach football etc Beach Beautiful and spotless. Our favourite spot on the beanbag beds listening to the chilled music from a live DJ. Theres jetskies to hire, banana boat, kayaking, and many more water sports. Pools. Adult only, Pool, Kids pools, on site wayerpark for little ones. Rooms. Stunning with beautiful views, spotlessly clean. We upgraded to a club bay view room. Ive attached photos of our view. Overall I could not find fault in this hotel. Its perfect!! BUT remember this is NOT DUBAI, Its Ras Al Khaimah. Trips into Dubai can be booked which we did, I love Dubai BUT we will be booking to return to DoubleTree by Hilton Marjan Island next year for its relaxing laid back atmosphere and we never return to the same hotel twice!! The resort is spotlessly clean and the service is exceptional. Please pass on our appreciation to Riya and Ganesh who went the extra mile. My wife even wants to return this August for another visit as it's so good. You can tell the manager Pieter does an exceptional job because the service levels are excellent and all his staff are highly motivated and nothing is a problem. A huge thank you!

If something hasn't been quite right e.g. not enough towels, we have asked and it's been rectified quickly. When we got here, we had a little wait for our room (because we arrived before check in). Our room was ready slightly earlier, than check in time, but the children's bed wasn't made up however, this was quickly resolved. Our housekeeper Naomi has cleaned our room to perfection. She has turned down the beds every day and cleaned the sheets when they have needed it. We have had fresh towels when we needed them. The room has been wiped down (floors and sides) evey day and the bathroom has been very clean. Thank you very much for looking after us!

Our family of 7 had the best time - and I have to specifically give props to Antony and Sajan who were working at the pool bar. Every time any one of us went up, they remembered the order and served us with nothing but smiles and good laughs. I hope this finds the right people who will give the right level of recognition, as these 2 gentlemen are a treasure to this establishment. The food, pool, gym, beach and everything else was undoubtedly amazing. We will be returning next year at the same time, would highly recommend.

This was only made possible by a very kind Monika at reception, and her team. It was a very busy weekend at the hotel and available rooms were disappearing as we contemplated extending our stay. When we decided to stay, all the hotel was fully booked. I pleaded with Monika at reception to do anything and everything to find me a room. It took quite some time but eventually we had the call to tell us it was sorted ! Thank you so much š Gave us another 4 days of absolute heaven. The hotel offers everything. Quiet area's for adults, lot's of activities for family's. Excellent service from very hard working staff. Beautiful outside area with pools and beach. Never needed to reserve a sunbed. I do feel that the staff are sometimes not treated with the respect they deserve. Most are not from Dubai but are working away from home, and their families, which must be very difficult. We met Sunmbool who looked after us and made our dining experience very special, thank you so much. Just be nice to them, they work so hard. You don't have to be tied to the hotel. - mistopheles (8/5): Good value for short business trip or for young families - Needed guaranteed sunshine & warmth for a few nights to get away from never-ending rain in UK. Criteria was it had to be above 25C, sunny, all-inclusive, not too long a flight and nice heated pools - and good WiFi for 'working at home' moments. Canary Islands and all of Europe were same at UK, Tunisia & Morocco were also chilly, so only left UAE or Egypt. I found DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island to be really well-priced, a short easy drive from Dubai airport, with good flight schedules and pretty good reviews - booked economy with BA and AI rate with the hotel directly via Hilton on their members 25% discount promo, independantly booked my own transfers for around Ā£35 GBP each way and I knew then I had 6 days away and wouldn't have to pay an additional penny or cent for the whole experience. Worked out at very good value. I contacted the hotel in advance to make a few requests (subject to availablity of course) in terms of room location, check-in/check-out times, etc. One of their front of house team, Mariam, was a star, a really great example of how hospitality staff can be, even when they don't need to. Mariam went the extra mile, upgrading me, ensuring all of my requests were met - and as a result I had a lovely room with a sea view ready for my arrival (mid-morning) and I was able to keep my room until much laterin the day on check-out day as well, keeping my AI privilges until I left (I also paid for a bargain day-rate at a different hotel much nearer the aiport for that evening as my return flight was 2am). All stressfree and treated like a long-standing guest. Thank you Mariam, and the rest of teh team too who I all found to be very welcoming, professional and happy to help. Only tip I guess, as mentioned by others here, but not at time of booking anywhere, including Hilton themselves (like some sort of secret) is that AI is a sort of restricted AI here. Yes you get 3 meals a day (but only from the main buffet restaurants), drinks of many kinds at all outlets (but a restricted menu and not until midday) and no snacks. I initially booked looking forward to the Asian restaurant and was disappointed initially to not be allowed in any of the restaurants for meals or snacks. But again Mariam came to my rescue and I was offered the opportunity to pay to upgrade to their Ultra AI package, giving all drinks anytime, all food outlets, all times. Instead of doing this every night (the buffet was fine for a few nights, if repetitive, it was good food and you wouldn't go hungry), I simply upgraded to Ultra for the last 2 nights of my stay (3 days), booked the Asian restaurant both nights, and had a great last few days of my stay - the bill at the Asian restuarant each night, had I not been Ultra AI, being 4 times what I paid for the AI upgrade in total alone. Not factoring in the lunches/snacks I had at their other outlets too. A real bargain (although I wish it was just one-tier AI and we got the Ultra package as standard). If you're with kids maybe don't bother, but if one your own, as a couple or business then I'd recommend doing what I did (or booking Ultra when initially booking if offered at a good rate). Final word on location. The island, like most of UAE, is under construction - if you look out to sea it's fine, but either side you'll see construction and signs of industry. It's not at all intrusive though in terms of noise - a couple of nights I had to turn my aircon off (luckily it wasn't so hot as to need it) as a strong petro-chemical haze hung over the resort/island all night, but it wasn'tr evident in the day and once the airconm was off you wouldn't notice. The island is witnessing a huge Wynn Casino project and imagine lots of other hotels over time - at the moment it's really just this one and a couple of others in the disance. Lots for kids to do on site in terms of pools, slides and watersports - but isoated off resort and 45/60 mins to Dubai. i was on my own, been to Dubai many times and knew what to expect so wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't bring teens here, it's more for pre-school/primary age (so new young couples), the odd couple here and there, a few older retirees and me on business. Pretty quiet. Around the rally lovely adult-pool plenty of sun loungers, no need to panic and towel-reserve at any time, only problem is sun retreats behiond main building from 3.30/4pm (bad design), but loads of space on beach and other pools will in sun until 6ish. Infinity pool is a kids pool really and quite small. That's it I think. I had a lovey relaxing time there, fantastic staff, good food and sunshine!

The staff appeared disorganized and unsure of even basic procedures, and on two occasions our server told us they would ācheck and come back,ā only to disappear without any update. When we asked for support, the senior staff member who approached us simply stated that he was new, instead of taking ownership or attempting to resolve the situation, which made the experience even more disappointing and unprofessional.

- laynao2019 (10/5): Great hotel layout, fantastic service! - Second time visiting the resort. Went for new year and RAK fireworks and the gala dinner was brilliant. The service in this hotel is absolutely amazing. We always give little tips out and get chatting to the staff but they really do work hard. Anisur from the concierge remembered us straight away and could not do anymore to help. Extremely polite and helpful, arranged Taxis and picked us up in the buggyās to take us to the Restaurants. He is fantastic and really made the holiday for us. Anthony from the pool bar is also extremely helpful and hard working.. he is always running around somewhere and again nothing was too much trouble. The beach bar guys are fantastic but I didnāt get their names. They have a great energy especially dealing with probably the busiest bar. The food is great, the Asian restaurant being our favourite although it was disappointing to see so many empty tables when friends of ours couldnāt book. We did speak to the manager in the end to get them a table. Overall fantastic holiday, football on the beach next to the beach bar, water park, swimming pool and park all very close to each other too which is great for a family.

Always smiling and happy to help! My experience in the Anchor bar was even better because of Fiona and her happy face! Her service was so fast and Kind, Every night she would be so happy and excited to work! In the restaurant my experience was amazing because of how attentive all staff was, And would even apologise for slow service even though it was obviously extremely busy! Restaurant manager Prince was very attentive and respectful, Kind to me and my family making sure our stay was as good as possible as long with the food! Would definitely come back due to the Kind staff members in every department!

We had a lovely relaxing time with great service, lovely food and really nice helpful and friendly staff. Angela and Mamata in in the main restaurant were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Saroj and Martin at the Beach Bar were also extremely good. All the staff we met were so kind, respectful and helpful. The hotel and surrounding areas were spotlessly clean. The hotel never appeared to be too busy during our stay and we would definitely recommend it.

The staff are always smiling, helpful, and happy to assist without being asked. We were pleasantly surprised when the team arranged a birthday cake and small setup for my sons, such a thoughtful touch! The room was very clean, room service was excellent, and the concierge team (Irfan, Wassim, and Johnson) were super friendly. Thanks as well to Shahid, Sajeed, and Vankata from housekeeping. The kids club was amazing, my boys had so much fun! Big thanks to Theint, Sithara, Iresha, Sarah, Morgan, and Khin for taking such great care of them. Also appreciated the help from Mariam and Anjali at the front desk for finding the Monkey mascot and making the kids smile. This hotel is always our first choice for a family stay. - Helen8753 (10/5): Amazing time - Fantastic hotel we have just returned after a 12 night stay and this was our second time here. Hotel is located about an hour and thirty minutes away from Dubai Centre which we accessed via a car we hired. Hotel staff always helpful and welcoming. Everywhere is spotless and pool areas also kept very well maintained. There are several pools adultās only pool which only has the sun on it till about 1pm all the other pools are for children and adults. The beach areas also kept very clean plenty of sun loungers to choose from with a beach bar area for snacks and drinks. The man restaurant is self service buffet and although there is a lot of choice it is very much the same most evenings. There are other restaurants you can eat in but these are not part of the all inclusive deal that we went with. Hotel entertainment each night was ok but again pretty much the same each evening. If you do not like walking then this may not be do you itās a very large complex to get around all mainly flat though. Lovely gardens and well kept. The rooms themselves have everything you need fridge hairdryer etc. Would definitely stay here againš
